The food and service here is amazing. Great local spot that has a variety of Asian and Asian inspired dishes. It seems like it's a mom-pop owned shop so it's great supporting local businesses. My personal favorite is the garlic noodles with filet mignon. I highly recommend this place if you're craving that and much more. The location is very convenient in a easy to spot plaza on the corner of two major streets(Imperial and Valley View). The pricing is also another factor including the very generous portions. Tried this place on a whim and I'm truly impressed! I had the strawberry milk tea and a chicken rice bowl, both were absolutely delicious. Also tried the bugolgi fries, which were amazing as well. I've seen the sign "194 Eatery" but wasn't sure what type of food it is. Upon Yelp search, it's an pan Asian food restaurant. A closer look at the menu, it's got a Korean food focused menu with additional items like wonton soup (Chinese), Pad See Eu (Thai), Kimchi fried rice, Pop corn chicken, etc. Plenty of varieties to choose from. We ordered bulgolgi rice bowl and spicy pork wrap. The portion was great, beef was well marinated, and the veggie was fresh (and plenty). The spicy pork wrap (like a burrito) has a rolled egg in the middle, with some sour cream to tone down the heat of the spicy pork. I love spicy food so it wasn't spicy in my opinion, still good, I finished the whole wrap. The place was clean and the owner lady was very friendly : ) It's definitely a place to return to and a place to go if you can't decide what to eat but want something Asian. PS. Yes 194 Eatery located in La Mirada, off Imperial hwy, crazy because I live about 30 miles away on Imperial Ave. But it was sooo worth the drive. Really been seeing a lot of social media push for this place off Yelp, and Instagram, etc. so I just had to come on down and give them a try and see the hype for myself. Upon pulling up it's a small establishment located in a strip mall of sorts with a few other places next door, nail salon, Mexican food, etc. so I walked in I was early just before 11 and the very nice gentleman greeted me and I wish I got his name and I hope he sees this because him and his employee were so nice to me and my son and I truly appreciated that. Upon grazing the menu I decided upon what I've been seeing and I have to the Garlic Noodles w/ filet mignon, and the fried rice. He got to work and I was on my way to try out my haul. Wow wow wow, such great flavor in these noodles, cooked perfectly but the filet mignon is the stand out, sooo tender and just melts in your mouth meat, so so good. The fried rice was good as well but the standout was these garlic noodles w/ that beautiful beef. Wow, I seriously can't wait to come back and try out maybe the bulgogi, maybe even the garlic noodles w/ shrimp, just sounds amazing. And they also have a huge variety of teas, boba teas, all kinds of flavors, I'll have to try their sea salt black I'm sure that's excellent. Decided to give this new local boba spot a try since I was already in the area. What was suppose to be just a quick boba run turned into a feast. After seeing their menu I couldn't resist. I went with a taro milk tea with boba , 6 piece soy glaze wings and Bulgogi Fries. -The taro milk tea had to one of the best I had in the area. The 6 piece wings unfortunately weren't 6 pieces ..... it turned out to be 8 :) -The soy wings had a good toss of sauce, the wings were decent size and tasted good. Only critique would be more sauce on the wings, other than that I'd get them again. -The Bulgogi fries were okay. The Bulgogi was a little to salty for my liking and it was also missing something that can make it good to great and that would be a type of sauce. Now I am being bias, I've tried many Bulgogi fries and they all were accompanied by a sauce on top or sauced up already within the dish that I prefer. Overall , 194 Eatery is a great local boba spot with many food tastings that I'm sure many of us can enjoy. The owners were very welcoming and very polite.
