Friendly Service - Cashier and Owner were very friendly Good Food - Food was delicious Good Value - You get a lot of food Apparently this place has been around for several years and we are now just discovering it. I work down the street from this place, but it never showed up on Yelp for me, so hopefully this post gets more attention. Lots of options for vegetarians and some for gluten-free eaters too. My friend ordered an orange chicken bowl, which looked really good. I asked for the same thing, but to substitute it with Tofu. It wasn't on the menu, but they honored my request. It was really good! It's hard to find a lot of good Tofu dishes, so if you are Tofu eater like myself, then you should give this place a try.

The food at this small little restaurant was delicious! I had garlic noodles with beef filet. The noodles were slightly chewy and slightly garlicky. The beef filet was so tender! Others in our party got fried rice with bulgogi beef and fried rice with beef filet. You can't go wrong with the garlic noodles or fried rice. I will say, however, if choosing between bulgogi beef and filet, I think the filet is the way to go! They also offer boba drinks. Service was friendly. Clean and well kept. Inside seating is limited.

Nice little mom and pop boba shop that offers great food! I ordered the orange chicken with garlic noodles. My vegan friend wanted to try the orange chicken sauce on top of the tofu, and the owner was more than happy to accomodate his request. He actually chatted with us for a while and told us about the history of the restaurant, which opened during the height of Covid. I will be back!

What a gem! We found 194 Eatery through the Yelps when we needed a bite to eat before a matinee show at the La Mirada Performing Arts Center, and what a find it was! Now, it's tradition to stop by whenever we have a show in the area. We've had the beef bulgogi, pad see ew, garlic noodles with shrimp, and orange chicken. The food here is surprisingly solid! For a small store that serves food in plastic to-go containers, the flavours are pretty good! We haven't tried their drinks yet, though. Staff is super friendly, and the owners are cute. We love supporting small, family, and local businesses, and this place checks all the boxes! It's run by a couple, and the husband is the chef. We couldn't figure out why it was called 194 Eatery, but after some conversation with the nice lady, we learned that this number was chosen because it was her husband's weight. That's a fun fact if I've ever heard one! 194 Eatery is located in a small shopping area with a small parking lot. There are a few seats inside, and we've only seen it fill up once. Great prices for decent portions!

I got the garlic noodles with sliced beef. It was good! It's a little on the greasy side cause of the beef but still good! The service was very good, very nice and friendly. Would recommend for garlic noodle lovers!

This place is such a cute mom and pop spot. Kpop was playing on the speakers and there was plenty of seating. My friend and I came here after work and we ordered the orange chicken with rice, cheesy bulgogi fries, black milk tea, and mango yakult. I think our personal favorite was the orange chicken with rice!! Super delicious. I can't wait to come back to try the other dishes and drinks. The owner was super sweet when she took our orders at the cash register. I think there's a $5 minimum to use credit card fyi but that was fine because we ordered way more! While we sat waiting, our food was brought out to us hot and fresh. Thank goodness they were already in takeout containers because we couldn't finish the food. It was delicious as leftovers the next day. Definitely will be coming back!!

Tasty food! We ordered the beef garlic noodles, shrimp bowl, and beef bowl. They have a pretty decent selection of bobas. All of our food came out good. Drinks were yummy. We'd come back again. Oh and we loved the popcorn chicken! Service was great, they were friendly.

So happy to stumble upon this little gem! I drive by everyday coming from work and I finally stopped by to try it out. I was not one bit disappointed. I got the pad see ew, which seems to be a crowd favorite, shrimp fried rice and soy glazed wings. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! Not too salty but savory enough. I really loved it all. The place is clean and the staff is super friendly. It took a while to get my food but I assume it's because everything is made to order. I highly recommend you check them out! Can't wait to come back and try other things.

Came back here again this week for a quick pick up meal, and always a quick and reliable stop. The girl at the front was so sweet answering my questions about their menu as well as showing me to their bathroom in the back (I had to walk through the kitchen to use it and there is a bunch of stuff being stored in there, but hey I'm not one to complain about getting to use it). The drink was pretty well priced considering the inflation of boba drinks and especially fruit drinks, so SO WORTH IT. The chicken pad see ew was alright, 6.5/10- not the best but also was not bad and I would get again considering how convenient it is to get food from here. The chicken wings are not your traditional fried chicken wings but the flavor of the sauce was good; they were a bit dry but not enough to stop me from eating it. There are a few tables and countertop space along the wall for seating. The vibe is very chill inside, a bit homey, 'hole in the wall.' The parking lot is a bit tight but there are usually spots whenever I come by. Overall, the food this time was alright, but for the price and the kind service, I'm happy!

I've been receiving Yelp recommendations regarding this spot so decided to stop by to pick up some food. The spot is conveniently located in a strip mall with ample parking. The restaurant itself has a small dinning area but I was just picking up. The staff were friendly, attentive, and polite and were nice enough to accommodate my order pick up change time. I ordered several items that included chicken fried rice, pad see ew with beef, popcorn chicken with thai chili sauce, fried dumplings, and a thai tea with boba. My favorite was the chicken fried rice, it was delicious and full of flavors. The fried dumplings were perfectly cooked and very tasty. However the other items were good but not totally memorable. In conclusion, 164 Eatery didn't totally disappoint but under succeeded my expectations especially since Yelp kept recommending the spot to me. Maybe next time I drop by I'll get the garlic noodles.

I wish I took a picture to show you how sad my chicken garlic noodles was. It was really bland and did not have much of a garlic flavor. I had high hopes for this place since the reviews are all so great. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing :( The great thing about this place is how friendly the staff. One of my favorite places to order food from. I have been eyeing this place since it first opened and I finally ordered a couple months back. I was not disappointed at all! I've seen the sign "194 Eatery" but wasn't sure what type of food it is. Upon Yelp search, it's an pan Asian food restaurant. A closer look at the menu, it's got a Korean food focused menu with additional items like wonton soup (Chinese), Pad See Eu (Thai), Kimchi fried rice, Pop corn chicken, etc. Plenty of varieties to choose from. We ordered bulgolgi rice bowl and spicy pork wrap. The portion was great, beef was well marinated, and the veggie was fresh (and plenty). The spicy pork wrap (like a burrito) has a rolled egg in the middle, with some sour cream to tone down the heat of the spicy pork. I love spicy food so it wasn't spicy in my opinion, still good, I finished the whole wrap. The place was clean and the owner lady was very friendly : ) It's definitely a place to return to and a place to go if you can't decide what to eat but want something Asian. PS. 6:30pm Monday...girl taking orders was cute as a button, helpful and patient. Owner in the back with helper. Executed everything perfectly and in a timely quick manner. Food was ok for a quick eatery. Boba was a bit on hard side to be honest...but I gave a 4 star because of the service and hard work... and great feeling I got from the staff. My friend recommended this Korean restaurant to me as he lives trying new places and we both support our local businesses. This restaurant has a pleasant seating area, it's very welcoming and friendly, not fake friendly but honest home town friendly. I highly recommend the Garlic Tofu Noddles with the Plain Fried Rice. Price is reasonable and you get plenty of food. The taste is amazing and we rarely have leftovers as we eat it all, not because we are hungry towards the end, but because it's so good I highly recommend this business read more

I'm giving this place 4 stars because the young lady taking orders and serving was very kind and attentive. I ordered the chicken pad se ew, and I give it 3 1/2 stars. Cute little hole in the wall. Prices are good considering how large the portions are. The staff were nice and welcoming. We ordered a Peach Lychee Boba with added Lychee Jellies, a Thai Tea with Boba, Filet Mignon Garlic Noodles, Orange Chicken, and Kimchi Fried rice. Since it was our first time we really wanted to try a few things! All items tasted fresh and full of flavor. Loved the texture of the boba because it can be very hit or miss at some spots. Yes 194 Eatery located in La Mirada, off Imperial hwy, crazy because I live about 30 miles away on Imperial Ave. But it was sooo worth the drive. Really been seeing a lot of social media push for this place off Yelp, and Instagram, etc. so I just had to come on down and give them a try and see the hype for myself. Upon pulling up it's a small establishment located in a strip mall of sorts with a few other places next door, nail salon, Mexican food, etc. so I walked in I was early just before 11 and the very nice gentleman greeted me and I wish I got his name and I hope he sees this because him and his employee were so nice to me and my son and I truly appreciated that. Upon grazing the menu I decided upon what I've been seeing and I have to the Garlic Noodles w/ filet mignon, and the fried rice. He got to work and I was on my way to try out my haul. Wow wow wow, such great flavor in these noodles, cooked perfectly but the filet mignon is the stand out, sooo tender and just melts in your mouth meat, so so good. The fried rice was good as well but the standout was these garlic noodles w/ that beautiful beef. Wow, I seriously can't wait to come back and try out maybe the bulgogi, maybe even the garlic noodles w/ shrimp, just sounds amazing. And they also have a huge variety of teas, boba teas, all kinds of flavors, I'll have to try their sea salt black I'm sure that's excellent. Wow just such a very nice experience, they were so nice and the food is absolutely amazing. Wish I lived closer so I could come back sooner but let me tell you if your anywhere within 30 miles, don't trip it's worth it to roll up to 194,24/7,365 ahhh see what I did there? No? I get their garlic noodle with filet mignon (medium rare)! It truly is the best. I don't really like garlic noddles cause usually after a few bites it's feels too "heavy" (greasy, uniform in flavor). This one though, I finish the whole thing! Flavorful, not too oily, and the meat is so tender and juicy! Now I have a fix to get their garlic noodles every other week . Don't forget to drizzle it with Sriracha sauce (if you like spicy)!! Also, I love it with the iced Peach-Lychee (less sweet) tea! read more

Decided to give this new local boba spot a try since I was already in the area. What was suppose to be just a quick boba run turned into a feast. After seeing their menu I couldn't resist. I went with a taro milk tea with boba , 6 piece soy glaze wings and Bulgogi Fries. -The taro milk tea had to one of the best I had in the area. The 6 piece wings unfortunately weren't 6 pieces ..... it turned out to be 8 :) -The soy wings had a good toss of sauce, the wings were decent size and tasted good. Only critique would be more sauce on the wings, other than that I'd get them again. -The Bulgogi fries were okay. The Bulgogi was a little to salty for my liking and it was also missing something that can make it good to great and that would be a type of sauce. Now I am being bias, I've tried many Bulgogi fries and they all were accompanied by a sauce on top or sauced up already within the dish that I prefer. Overall , 194 Eatery is a great local boba spot with many food tastings that I'm sure many of us can enjoy. The owners were very welcoming and very polite. I'm only a 10 minute drive away and will definitely be coming back when I'm craving some boba and snacks. read more

This cute little restaurant is the American Dream. The owners work day after day and you truly see how much love and appreciation they have for their customers. I only just started going in last week and I can't wait till I can go again. Fantastic serving sizes. Great service. Cute and Homey feeling. But that ube ice cream on top was the best! true, authentic Filipino ube ice cream! The beef empanadas here are delicious too - taste exactly like the ones I get from a specialty empanadas place - even without any chimichurri sauce. And the shrimp crackers have a very original twist: they are thin, fan-shaped flat crackers with a whole flat shrimp embedded right inside - very unique I haven't seen elsewhere! The service is very good, as well. The ladies at the counter were very nice, pleasant, and always smiling. While the shop is small, it is very clean and organized. They even have photos of their drinks on the wall, which makes it easy to decide what to order. Pro Tip: Don't forget to get your loyalty card stamped! The honey boba is good and added sweetness, so maybe that's part of it. They put a large piece of grass jelly instead of smaller pieces so you kind of have to stab it with your straw to get it. We decided to try take out for dinner tonight. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back. My husband and I both wanted the garlic noodles and they were really good. He got them with shrimp and it was nice to see that they had so many options: beef, chicken, vegetables, tofu or plain. The portions were great too! The bluegi fries were bomb too. Cheesy and flavorful mixed with really good grilled onions. I would definitely get this again. I was also impressed by their large selection of boba tea and smoothies. I will definitely have to try them next time. A few years ago this used to be a great breakfast and lunch spot (Amy's Cafe) and I was very sad when it closed. Good to see there is at least one more good place now. Vegetarian options: There seemed to be a lot of vegetarian options available. Parking: Free parking right in front.
