    Tom Kha Chicken Soup

Amazing !!!!!!!!! I have been coming here for years and every single time the food is amazing. The tom yum chicken is a MUST and order rice to go with. I order it every single time I have never gotten tired. I commute from Orange County bc I have yet to find something as good as this place. PSA order tom yum chicken if ur not feeling well call it in TO GO ORDER and I promise you will feel better!

Small family owned joint. Pretty attentive nice owner/server. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Old school but cozy ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was amazing for price and tasted more authentic than others (thai food lover). Pad see ew was flavorful and noodles were bouncy, and tom yum soup was soothing and tasty. Highly recommend giving it a try. Plenty of parking and not so busy.

Fooood is amazing we're constantly coming back it's really really good we get the chicken pad sew ew and the Thai fried rice with the cream cheese wontons ugh it's 10/10 the service is 10/10 as well he's always very kind I believe he is the owner along side with his family love family business!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is always really clean aswell[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the food came out right away ! I recommend you try it out

We came in after a dental appointment because we wanted our normal Thai but we were to far. So we saw this one and came in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a bit slow on Saturday morning from what we saw but it was a nice calm environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the Tom Yum seafood soup value meal and chose pad see ew and Kung pao. The soup was delicious a nice flavor . The pad see ew was good too and the kung pao as well. The serving is family meal portions so for just as two it was a bit too much. We left full and with leftovers . Really good place to come for some soup!

Spring Rolls - they're BIG!!!!! The peanut sauce is more sweet than spicy.

My spicy string beans were not spicy at all and sauce was okay. Mongolian Chicken was alright. The steamed rice was good. The best things were the spring rolls, they were big and good. Portions are large.

Great authentic Thai spot in Whittier! My family and I were in search of something new and near our home. Mind you, my husband tells me at 12am that he's craving Thai boat noodles, so I decided to do a Google search. I saw some good reviews so I told my husband we can try if for lunch. So we arrived at the restaurant. A cute little "mom and pop" spot. Very welcoming and "homey". We met Bob our host & server and he told us to sit anywhere. It wasn't busy at all. Since it was our first visit we opted to try a few things, which meant that my husband's craving for Thai boat noodles was soon forgotten. We choose the family meal which was a great deal and a couple other dishes. Check out my review below... 1.Value Meal: Tom Ka Chicken Hot Pot with 2 dishes of our choice, we chose Orange Chicken & Pork Pad Thai. Tom Ka soup - coconut soup base filled with chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms, lemongrass, kaffir leaves. The flavors were a balance of sweet & sour with a slightly creamy texture. It was a great starter for our meal. Orange Chicken - lightly battered with chicken in every bite. The orange flavor was perfect, not too tangy or sweet. My first impression when my husband asked for the orange chicken was, "Why have orange chicken at a Thai spot?" And he tells me, let's try it, they may prepare it differently.. and I have to admit I liked it. This was surprisingly good! 2. Pad Kra Pao Kai - Stir fried ground chicken with basil leaves, green beans and bell pepper, garlic, onion and house special sauce on a bed of rice. My daughter wanted to try this. The flavors were fantastic! I've tried this dish before but forgot how the simple flavors just hit the spot. 3. Papaya salad - Now I've tried many versions of papaya salad and from different restaurants and nothing beats my MIL homemade Khmer style papaya salad, but I still enjoyed this Thai style. Very refreshing with bright flavors and perfect texture, this is a "must-have" for every meal. I just LOOOOVE papaya salad! 4. Mango with sweet sticky rice - also a "must-have" sweet treat. We usually skip dessert after a big meal, but my daughter convinced me to get it. The perfect balance of sweetness from the sticky rice and a slightly tangy and sweetness from the ripe mangoes. It was a great way to end our family meal. My family and I were not disappointed with Thai Noodle House. Enjoyed great conversation with Bob our server and the food was filling, delicious and worth every penny. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. Maybe my husband will finally have his boat noodles lol!

Decided to grab a bite before my nail appointment at Serena studio around the corner. Came in greeted and seated immediately. They still have tables sectioned off for covid reasons. Along with wearing masks. Ordered seas food noodle soup- this was good asked for no squid. I added pickled jalapeños to give it more spicy flavor. But alone the broth was flavorful. Would try different protein option next time. The seafood was a little too fishy for me. Veggie egg rolls- crispy and no complaints there. Thai iced coffee- this was really good! I would get this agin. Creamy not too sweet, the consistency of the drink was really good. Customer service was great, very nice.

It is a busy restaurant but I've never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes. They are very efficient at turning over tables. My only negative experience here was eating at the table by the door to the restrooms. At times, especially when people pass back and forth, you can smell the restrooms which isn't ideal.

The back of my mind is just the pounds of sugar in his recipes, but oh well! Located in a strip mall, with many Korean restaurant contenders, Mr. Paik has a pretty steady trickle of customers. You order at the counter and pick up once your beeper buzzes. I ordered a jjajjangmyun (black bean noodle) and tangsyuyuk (fried pork) to share with my sister. The portion makes sense with the price. I must say the best experience is to eat there while the food is piping hot. Mr. Paik hands down the best jjajjangmyun and tangsyuyuk that I had... the texture, sauce and everything was just perfect. They had other items that I want to try next step, like the stir fried jjampong! Reviews on their seafood jjampong didn't seem too popular, but ordered one to go to try and it was good too!!! This is the one time I shouldn't have trusted the negative reviews. Can't wait to come back again!

Right when you walk in, you'll go to the counter and order before seating yourself. You'll also fetch your own water and napkins. Our table of 3 got the following to share: 1. Jajangmyeon: Comes with pork and veggies and lots of black bean sauce! This dish was very flavorful and I enjoyed the nice chew of the noodles. I did feel extremely thirsty after the meal though, and I think this may have played a big part in that with all the flavor haha 9. Beef Jjamppong: It was nice to get some additional veggies in and some soupy goodness, but I still preferred the experience of the Jajangmyeon more. This one was fine but did not stand out too much. 22. Sweet & Sour pork: I like that they put the sauce on the side for you to dip, so the pork stays crispy! There's also a couple pieces of wood ear in the dipping sauce.

The egg noodle options has an extra $1 charge. You also have an option to order it dry or in the broth. We ordered the small rice noodles dry. The dry option comes with the broth on the side, along with a giant beef rib bone. The highlight for me here is the broth, as it is super tasty, and the beef rib was super tender. I prefer the dry noodles since you can add additional seasoning to them; my favorite is the chili oil, which was quite spicy. The rice porridge is different from the ones you get at dim sum. It is lighter, with the rice grains still pretty intact. Like with the noodle dish, I really liked the broth and it goes well with the house-made breadsticks. The pork liver was a bit too overcooked for my taste, though. Overall, the dishes are pretty solid. Will come back again.
