Halo Halo. Mango in the back.

Filipino own!!! Haus Sweet sign is not very visible but it tucked at the end. Small place for quick Halo Halo. They have specialties Filipino bread/dumplings too. Service is quick for take out. Always get the Halo-Halo. The mango was okay...

There were a lot of choices at this place, hot food like (empanada, steamed bun & tamales) which all complemented the cold drinks. Although the empanada was good, it threw me off because the flavor profile was a bit more like a bao instead of an empanada. It took a while for our small order to be filled but the place was packed for weekend snackers, so I took that into consideration. Although the place was small, there were plenty of seating and table games for customers to enjoy.

Nice to have a place near us that serves halo halo especially with this weather. We tried this for the first as recommendation by my sister, they have a lot of varieties, they serve boba, flavored fries and Filipino pastries and empanadas and lumpia. We tried the halo halo which is full of ingredients, we also tried the ilocos empanada and ube taro boba, cashier is helpful as it's our first time. The ube taro has pcs of ube halaya inside although for my husband's taste it needs a little bit more sweetness. We will definitely start coming especially they have the stamp card

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. Full disclosure, I am not a crazy halo halo lover but I think this place convinced me otherwise. We literally live down the street so we stumbled in here one day from our trip to homedepot (yes, its in the La Mirada homedepot plaza). Got the halo halo. Its HUGE with loads of toppings! Im not a huge fan of the jello they put in but love the other things like kaong, jackfruit, young coconut. However, its their soft serve that just makes it. Their softserve is SO GOOD. Full of ube flavor without being overly sweet. Staff is always very friendly and nice. We've been obsessed that we stopped by multiple times a week for the last month! Quiet and cozy mom and pops shop. What's not to love?! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Nice place to sit and snack with delicious empanadas, lumpia, and refreshing drinks. Some table games to play and cool rave art to look at. Service was perfect kiosk or to speak to the very kind worker. Their seasoned fries are so yummy and empanadas are delish. Did i forget to mention 1$ soft serve ube? Yummmm

Service was good. Place is clean. And OMG. Halo halo was bomb!!!! Must go to. And the prices are reasonable.

    Chicken Empanada and Halo-Halo

I've been looking for a great Halo-Halo and I didn't waste any time coming here. The empanada was mouth watering and the Halo-Halo did not disappoint. The girl who was working by herself was so fast even with a store full of people. She's incredible. And every song they played was a hit that matched the vibe they were going for here. Food 10/10. Vibes 10/10. Service 10/10.

The best halo halo I have ever had, all the ingredients are so fresh. I honestly give it a 10/10. The boba was also so good, I love how creamy it was. I tried the chicken and beef empanadas and I'm so hooked.

We enjoyed our dessert. Found this place by luck. Glad it wasn't too busy at the time we came.

Hidden gem for sure! I forgot this place opened and am so glad we happened to drive by today. The service was excellent, halo halo and empanadas - AMAZING. Space was clean and though small, did not feel cramped at all. They have a mix of Asian treats and a stamp card to redeem after 5 stamps (1 free 16oz drink). Fun feature: you can get your photo printed on a latter for free (I believe it is only certain lattes, like the matcha one). Highly recommend checking it out!

Ube taro milk tea with boba

Drink 4/5: Ordered the Ube taro milk tea with less ice and boba. The drink is a little thick, probably due to the two starchy ingredients, and came with a lot of ice and quite a small amount of boba. The flavor was good though and the 75% sweet was perfect for me! Service 4/5: You can order with one of the workers or at a little kiosk which was convenient! The kiosk offers pictures and descriptions of the various drinks which was really helpful! However, I was the only customer in the shop and my drink still took 8 minutes to come out despite there being two workers in the shop. Just be prepared for possibly a little bit of a wait, especially if it's busy. They do have stamps cards if you plan to come back. Price $$: A little pricier than your standard boba shop as I paid $6.50 for my drink and .50 to add boba, but given that they have some specialty flavors, I didn't think it was too bad!

    Blended Taro Ube
    Lynnette V.

I originally thought this was just an ordinary boba shop, but it's actually a hidden gem for Filipino treats! It is a tiny spot tucked in a corner of a commercial compound. The Halo-Halo and Mais Con Yelo were good, though I wished they were more creamy. Mixing the ube ice cream might have helped, but I prefer to eat it separately. But that ube ice cream on top was the best! true, authentic Filipino ube ice cream! The beef empanadas here are delicious too - taste exactly like the ones I get from a specialty empanadas place - even without any chimichurri sauce. And the shrimp crackers have a very original twist: they are thin, fan-shaped flat crackers with a whole flat shrimp embedded right inside - very unique I haven't seen elsewhere! The service is very good, as well. The ladies at the counter were very nice, pleasant, and always smiling. While the shop is small, it is very clean and organized. They even have photos of their drinks on the wall, which makes it easy to decide what to order. Pro Tip: Don't forget to get your loyalty card stamped! You get a free 16 oz drink after only five stamps.

The storefront is very casual but also felt homey as there were lots of small groups of people coming in with their families. I think if you come here often, you'll feel very comfortable!

They have a local feel when you walk inside. There is a little bit of a wait, and I think they make the food to order, so it's hot and fresh when you receive it. I recommend that if you plan to take out, call ahead to place your order to save time. They are known for their pupusas, which I got on my first visit. I was curious after reading some of the positive reviews. I ordered the revuelta and chicken with cheese. Both had great flavors and would consider getting them again. The flavorful, crispy empanadas were among my favorites. I got the carne (beef) and spinach with cheese empanadas and loved them. The perfectly fried shell and flavorful filling. Their Salvadoran tamales are prepared in the traditional style, with a flavorful filling and soft, moist masa, wrapped in banana leaves rather than corn husks. I love Mexican-style tamales (especially homemade), so this was a new experience trying Salvadoran-style tamales. I think most people will order takeout, but there's a moderately sized dining area with tables. It has a local feel and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was kind and provided great service. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. I still can't believe I waited this long to visit Nancy's. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu. Note: There is a little charge for using credit cards, so cash would be better if you want to avoid the CC charge.
