This go around it was the exact opposite experience. We had several beers and we enjoyed all of them. This location is fairly large so if you have a larger group, it's great for groups to come to. They do not have food service but they do typically have a food truck there for a short period of time, but there are eateries in the area so I'm sure having food delivered or going across the street or down the street to get food would not be an issue either. My husband really enjoyed their brown ale. We also tried the bourbon barrel aged one as well and found it to be very sweet. We also tried the drunken Irish, which was great, but our favorite was by far the wee Peaty. It was described to us as having a little smoked flavor to it, but we found that was definitely not the case and really enjoyed the depth of the flavor in this beer.

This is definitely a UCF bar, but don't let that deter you (lol jk) this place is great!…read more They have a whole area that looks like there is likely live music there sometimes and / or karaoke opportunity, both of which would be amazing! This was my first time here and it wasn't busy, but I could see how it could be a popular spot on the weekends for sure. There is a lot of space, and I love that it kind of feels like a mix between a hangar and a barn inside. There's a bar, that little stage & seating area, garage doors that look functional, and a room for playing darts and / or using the ping pong table. There's your regular bar food like chicken wings and pizza, but there was also a great greek salad so there's something for everyone. I had a sour, which was great and there's plenty on draft if you're into different kinds of beer - you can also build your own flight. We will be back!

Came to Brewlando for an event they were doing with UCF on a Saturday evening. I'm a UCF alumni and…read moreI really enjoy visiting breweries so I was very excited for this event. The event was marketed as including games for kids, tastings, food specials and more. When I arrived I asked the bartender what tastings they were doing and she informed me of food specials that they were running. She mentioned that with certain food offerings, they were offering a free beer. Different beers would come with the nachos, hummus, or giant pretzel food options. My husband and I were very excited about this and decided that we would try some of the specials, that included the beer and nachos and beer and pretzel. The food was good, the pretzel was outstanding but the nachos could've used a bit more toppings. The chicken pieces in the nachos also should've been a bit more bite sized instead of the big clumps they were in but they still had good flavor. The reason I am giving the review 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that when looking at my bill, I noticed that they charged me more than the nacho price on the menu. When I questioned this, they informed me that they were running food/beer specials and not that it was buy a food item and get a free beer as was advertised. I suggested that they change their messaging to future guests so as to not confuse anyone thinking they'd get a free beer with certain entree items. Eventually they ended up comping me for one of my beers which I appreciated due to the mixed messaging that I had received.

Runabout Brewing... love what you've done with the place, especially the addition of oysters. They…read morewere pricey, but good. And the beer is still high quality. It has been a good while since I visited, but from what I can remember, the food hall has decent food and, there is the Porch right around the corner if you want decent comfort food. Good service and great beer is what you will find at Runabout Brewing.

Runabout review Boy,…read moredid we find a great place for beer and food, seafood to be exact. Or more to the point, my wife found this place and it is a GEM! Unassuming from the outside, Runabout is far different on the interior. The tables and decor are welcoming and comfortable, way beyond what you'd expect for a strip mall locale. But we haven't even touched on the first reason to go here: Beer. Their beers are wonderfully crafted, unique and delicious! Roundabout has only been in operation for a year or so, yet their beers have the quality and character which ususally take a microbrewery years to develop. Rich flavor profiles, depth of taste, and appropriate viscosity for each different style. And also to love? This is not your typical, boring lager/ale/stout lineup that makes you go "meh" along the way to the better brews. They start strong with varied flavors and continue in the same vein all the way through their whole beer list. The second reason is their food. Just - wow. We had 4 dozen (yes, 4) of their $1.50 oysters on Happy Hour special and they were FAN-freaking-TASTIC! Large, clean, beautifully prepared by Alexi, the young gentleman shucker, these edible specimens of culinary seafood delight are not to be missed. Probably the best we've had, served in an ice filled, long metal tray w/cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemons, Tabasco, and crackers. We never eat that many oysters, but we couldn't resist these bad boys. Simply delish! The third and final reason is their staff - so courteous, personable, and helpful. Alyssa C was our server and she was a peach. Checked in at just the right intervals, brought us what we needed promptly, and was lovely and engaging to chat with throughout. I already mentioned Alexi the shuck-master, but the chefs were totally cool as well. Oh, and I forgot to mention the godlike cornbread they make, speaking of chefs... Get. The. Cornbread. Full stop. It is a rare restaurant which can make a cornbread that is light, moist, tasty, but the chef at Roundabout has it on lock. If I hadn't stuffed myself with two dozen oysters already, I'd've demolished the cornbread. Instead, I had enough to get hooked and took the rest home for a delightful snack. So yummy. Folks, check out Roundabout if you like A) exceptional beer; B) high-quality seafood and "regular" food; C) capable and nice waitstaff (yes, good staff can be tough to find nowadays). There is everything to like here - your good time awaits.

As a loyal fan of Orlando's local brewery scene (shoutout to my neighborhood favorites Tactical and Ten10), I don't venture far from my comfort zone. But every now and then, I'll travel a daring five miles for a place that feels like it was plucked straight out of the Pacific Northwest and this is that place. The beer? Amazing. The staff? Incredible. The space? Open, welcoming, and plenty of seating to settle in for a while. Now let's talk about the only adventure here: parking. The immediate lot is small and can feel like you're competing in the Orlando Parking Olympics. But there's additional parking across the street to the left near some office buildings. Finding parking in Orlando sometimes feels as hard as snagging a spot in NYC, but trust me, it's worth the effort. They're constantly brewing something new okay, maybe not every single week, but it sure feels like it and somehow it's always excellent. There's always something fresh and creative on tap. So yes, I absolutely recommend this place. If you can park, come on in. You won't regret it.
