Once I stayed once and appreciated the midcentury design of the place I was hooked. And the Swizzle Lounge was definitely one of the perks. When I was running late, driving north after work from South Florida I had a 1st primary objective, make it in time to grab one martini at Swizzle. I was making ok time but when I got into the lobby I knew I only had 15 minutes to spare. And there was a long line to check in. When I finally checked in I only had minutes left. I walked up the busy evening bar with little to no hope. And yet one of the busy bartenders saw me and said they had last call already, but they would get me for one. Halleluiah. One martini later and I was ready to wander to our room. The Swizzle is retro, brightly lit, and especially friendly. Looking forward to stopping in again soon.

They have packages where the pool time includes your table time and drinks by the hour. You can also just play pool and buy your drinks separately. Honestly can't say if the hourly rate is a better deal I guess it just depends on how many drinks you get in an hour and let's just say I got my moneys worth lol! We had a few mishaps with the bar honestly nothing crazy but that is my reason for the missing star. There are plenty of pool tables but the bar itself is actually pretty small. We came with our group of friends, but the crowd seemed to be a good mix of real pool players and people like myself who were just trying to have a good night. The place uses TouchTunes and I felt like the crowd was all on the same type of vibe. I can't say what it's like every night but while I was there, it was a lot of 90s in 2000s hip-hop and pop and a few present day hits thrown in. The location is right on the lake, so they get amazing sunsets and have a nice patio where you can watch them from. It seems like a fairly active post with events always going on!! The beers are cold and cheap! They also serve small bites if you're hungry. Everyone wanted the egg rolls when I was in there last time, so they must be good! It looks like they had some renovations done recently and it looks very nice in there.

You will need a park ticket to visit this bar. This is one of our always stop when visiting Animal Kingdom. This is just a bar, nothing fancy, but the bartenders are always great, the drinks are good, there is usually a special cocktail, the atmosphere around the bar is always upbeat and you might even catch a live performance while sipping on your cocktail. This bar has different options including specialty beer, wine and a basic stocked bar with some cocktails. There is usually a specialty cocktail of the month or quarter or event happening as well. I usually pick either a specialty beer or make a cocktail with the liquors they have. My wife usually chooses the specialty drinks. We have always enjoyed the drinks at this bar. Some of their drinks are pre batch made but for batch-made drinks, they are not terrible and still pack a nice little punch. Recently we ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita, which was originally designed to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American cultures. This was meant to be a limited time drink and it is still available, but I have no idea for how long. It is really good, one of the better drinks we have had. Hopefully it is popular so it will stay on the menu permanently. Another popular drink is the Ngumu Jungle Juice. This one is also very refreshing and a good one to order if you are unsure. I would definitely recommend this bar. They have great drinks, really friendly bartenders, lots of seating at the bar and also around it. It is perfect to grab before waiting in line for the safari or Lion King show. You cannot bring drinks into the Lion King Show but if there is a line, this is the perfect stop while you wait. I would say make sure to check it out when you need a quick drink at Animal Kingdom.

Currently there are a couple of pretty good Asian places although their prices have gone up and serving sizes have shrunk a bit. There is a Burger King, Popeyes and five guys here they're also a couple of healthy options and a new Mexican place that I have been waiting on for quite some time. There is plenty of seating available and several of these locations offer free samples on a regular basis. Employees are generally friendly and helpful and it's nice to just enjoy your meal to break up your shopping if you're here for the day.

We weren't sure what type of food it was, since it they don't seem to announce it, but since we like trying new things, we went for it. While it isn't in the best location, as far as walk-up business, it is close to the I-Drive area (near Wet and Wild). The staff is friendly and attentive, and it is family owned. The decor was not what I expected for a Brazilian place, and we thought that it looked more like a either a Italian or Creole place, it was very clean and white--quite pretty. We were pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be a Brazilian restaurant, and we loved it. I wish I had thought to write down what we had, but whatever those particular steaks were, were some of the best that I have had. The amazing part was that despite having a great steak, my plate was around $15. (I've paid more for meals that weren't near as good.) We really enjoyed our experience, and look forward to going back.

Upon entering we realized one of our favorite bands was playing here tonight, Monticelli, sweet!! These brothers are the best, what a serendipity:) It's a bummer we got here so late but we were able to catch the end of their second set and most of their third set. They even played Megadeth for me, sweet! It wasn't too busy at the bar, mostly locals but it took forever to get a drink. I don't know if the bartender was new but she couldn't tell me the price for a bottled yuengling. She said she needed my name for a tab and I told here I'm paying cash, so how much? She said it depends on which band is playing, what???? Anyway I ended up just taking the beer and went to watch the band because she never returned to take my money. When I went to cash out before leaving it still took her 5 min to figure out what I owed for one beer really??? It ended up costing $5, great. Wish I knew that from the get go. The bar is a decent size and they have a large open area where they can set up more tables if needed. There is also a decent sized dance floor and stage for local bands. The sound was decent and lighting was passable for a dive bar. The men's restroom only has one toilet and urinal in a shared stall, a bit weird but it will due. They have a large parking lot with plenty of parking, which is great for crowds or food truck parties. All-n-all, a great place to hang with friends, have a cold beer, and listen to live music.
