I trusted this company to ship a car. They had the best rate and seemed friendly. However, they kept stalling. I was flexible with time, but they were not honest. Knowing that the pickup location required 2 days notice, they called without notice and asked to pickup the car that day. As an exception and a favor to me, the seller was willing to have it ready in 2.5 hours. This was amazing but then 1 Flat Rate said no! Instead of shipping my car that had been waiting for over a week, they canceled shipping it that day without even rescheduling. I think they did this hoping to blame the seller--but they could not since the seller wanted it to be a good transaction for me. They strung me along for another week, still not picking up my car. 1 Flat Rate took my business, posted my car on transportation boards, and told me they had a carrier when they did not. This cost me time and money. It was my mistake to choose and trust them. After checking Yelp, there are other companies with non-fake great ratings. Thankfully, I found a good company through Yelp and my car was picked up the following day. I wish I would have found that other company first instead of wasting a few weeks with 1Flat-Rate. I am SO happy that I did not go with these guys. READ ALL REVIEWS. I filled out a quote sheet online and They Contacted Me back the same day (I'm thinking great). The guy on the phone was nice-enough. After I decided to not go with them and stated it's because they did not honor their promise from their website that they could 'match or beat any price' . Keep in mind that I gave them a competitor rate and quote over the phone and asked them would they honor it (3x) and they said no due to COVID and gas prices, that is the price. So I went with a competitor FOR MY SET PRICE and these guys emailed me a long nasty email in the middle of the night with unprofessional messages like a tween saying "We can beat [competitor's] quote any day". We used their service to ship our Toyota from TX to CA in 2015. After picking up our car, I noticed a paint damage on the hood, maybe from a strap or something banging on it. Nothing crazy but very noticeable. I let them know right away and they never responded. I am still looking at the same damage on the hood. Same damage they received the photos for. If the company contacts me to resolve the issue, I will take my review down. I just want it fixed. read more

I just used 1Flate-Rate on 5/29/18. Extremely disappointed. Paid for expedited 1-3 day shipping. Vehicle was picked up in Colorado on 5/29/19 with delivery promised on 6/1/18 in AZ. I flew out to AZ specifically to get vehicle. No communication from 1Flat-Rate or transportation company until I called transportation company by 4pm on Friday. Turns out trucker had several cancellations and didn't even leave Colorado til days after 5/29 pick up. No one called me. Vehicle finally arrived when I was on way to airport on 6/3/18. I called 1Flatrate and emailed my contact Brenda there but got no reply back. They should offer a partial refund but they have ignored all my communication with them. A formal complaint to BBB is in progress. Do NOT use this company. They do not stand behind their word or the transportation companies they use. read more

Buyer beware ??? YES - any where except for here. Run as fast as you can. Hired and contract executed to move MGB from Florida to New York. Im in Canada so paid full contract upfront. Ray - the owner - cancelled the contract when the carriers trailer broke down in South Carolina and yes..... left my car stranded. Failed to refund the full amount - but then they did charge more to my credit card than authorized. Be careful - do not use this company .... they are thiefs, liars, and con artists. Thats my opinion of them. Being that I am in Canada he must have thought I was an easy target for his scam. Since .... have started litigation for Breach of Contract .... and other. Contact the writer if you want more information - but hire anyone else. I can give you the name of a truly reputable carrier. They quote low for a reason - because they scam you later. Read some of the other reviews on here ..... they speak volumes and in abundance. The rating that they have being "one star" is actually negative one star. read more

DO NOT USE...TOTAL NIGHTMARE....seriously, if I could give zero stars I would. They had 2 months to plan to pick up and move vehicle...they forgot about my order, then scrambled to get someone who is even more sub par.....vehicle 3 days late pick up; 4 days late delivery...I was 30 minutes away from calling police reporting it stolen....driver from MB auto transport "Bobbie" is his name....never would call back; gave me 2 dates he would arrive; never showed for those, called broker Ray at 1 Flat-Rate; less than pleased with his customer service especially his email back to his dispatcher that I was on--might want ot check that reply all button Ray--were he states and I quote "Are you telling me a customer had a driver standing in front of him, acknowledging there is damage to the vehicle, the driver saying he is responsible for the damage, the driver saying he would pay for the damage...!!....... The driver obviously had a pocket full of money............the customer then gave him a further $1200..........and then .... he fooookin called us to get the driver to pay for a plastic mosquito shield. Is this a dream.....??? I can't be sure......but I'm pretty sure this customer mentioned something to me about being in the "intelligence service"..........Jasus help us......!!!!!!!!!! I contacted 1-flat rate after waiting for other well-rated companies for over a week to find a carrier for me without luck. I wanted to transport my car from Los Angeles to Pennsylvania and my time schedule was very tight as my daughter was starting classes on the east coast. Less than one hour from contacting 1 Flat-rate, I received a call from the wonderful Julius who gave me a very fair quote and once agreed he said he will start looking for a carrier. He never asked me to dismiss the other companies first before he can work with me as some of them did. They found a carrier and sent me the contract to sign in less than 3 hours from initial contract. They did not charge me a penny or even take my credit card number until the car was delivered on schedule in perfect condition. They kept me informed the whole time with delivery updates. Their customer service is superb and they always answer phone calls. The carrier they used which was CAA Transport was also very professional and prompt. We recently used 1Flat-Rate car shippers for our move across country and had a really great experience. This is our second time having our car shipped, however the first time we used a different company. There was no reason for changing the company we went with this second time other than the fact that 1Flat-Rate gave us a better quote (and still had great reviews on transportreviews.com). We had really great interactions with Ray - he explained the process of car shipping really thoroughly and allowed me to work with him to form the best rate possible to meet my budget but also guarantee that my car be picked up in an expedited fashion (as to not be totally car-less forever!). Overall, the shippers who both picked up and dropped off were extremely professional and polite (I wish I remembered their names as well), our car was delivered in perfect condition, and we would definitely recommend them again to anyone needing to ship their cars! read more
