Blue star called me and gave me a quote for $360, he explained that most businesses use the camera recalibration as an excuse to up charge and that he wouldn't be disconnecting any wires when replacing my windshield. I was a bit skeptical at first, I was worried I would have to go get my camera recalibrated. (I have a 2022 Honda Accord). It's been 2 and a half weeks since I had it replaced and I've had no issues, camera still works just as good! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative than giving your money to the dealerships. I then came across Titan Auto Glass and they were actually able to beat Safelite's pricing; despite being a much smaller operation all while offering the same stipulations and specifications. The tech who came out, Richard, has been doing automotive glass for 20 years, and it comes as no surprise that he aced this job and did so in about 30 minutes flat. Very impressive. I found the staff to be easy to work with, and most communication was done via text message, which I actually find very convenient. Obviously they primarily use aftermarket glass, which in my case was a nonfactor since the factory windshield no longer exists in inventory anywhere. They did say if I ever wanted a factory windshield for one of my other vehicles that I could source it and they would still be able to install it after the fact. Overall it was about as painless of an experience as possible.

This was two days before Thanksgiving 2024 and after a couple weeks went by receiving no communication, I posted a review on Google still no phone calls. I reached out to them YET AGAIN after another week and instead of communicating about my vehicle she wanted to argue about the bad review I left stating they attempted to call me. I printed out my phone logs just to further prove my point that during this entire fiasco they have attempted to call me only once. I sat in their office having a face-to-face conversation with them stating that the cosmetics mean nothing to me I need my vehicle to operate mechanically and safely just as it did before I was hit. Weeks go by and still no word. Once again I call them and I was told was that they completed cosmetic work prior to even looking at the mechanical work and were still waiting to assess the mechanical portion. On what planet would a mechanical shop perform cosmetic work prior to any mechanical work?! What if the car is totaled? I mean, I'm just a mechanic too, What do I know? We have now started a brand new year. It's a week in to 2025 and the last time I have heard about my car was at the beginning of December. If you want your car fixed correctly and in a timely manner, do not bring your car here.. I wouldn't wish this place on my enemies. Lessons learned.

The side window was done at our house. The dash window had to be done at their shop as it had to be recalibrated. We have a Subaru which can be tricky to recalibrate. But they did an excellent work on it. Unfortunately coming back yesterday from Nebraska, our dash window was hit by a rock in Oklahoma. I had my windshield replaced by Done Right today (4/28/2026). When I picked it up I noticed a 1 1/2…read moreinch scratch on the "a pillar". The scratch was all the way down to bare metal. I showed an employee the issue and he took pictures of the damage. A few minutes after I left the business I received a phone call from them. I was told there was no way they caused the damage. They offered to let me come watch a video of the installation, but I declined. The scratch was obviously done with a sharp instrument and wasn't there before they replaced the windshield. In January 2025 I took my wife's SUV to them to replace the windshield. When picking it up, my wife noticed a big chunk missing from the door panel near the a pillar and a nick on the a pillar, both obviously caused by a sharp instrument. They did have me bring the vehicle back to them to repair the door panel damage. Since they won't take responsibility for the damage they caused today, I'm having to file another claim with my insurance company. I bought the vehicle new and have never had the windshield replaced. I wouldn't recommend using this company.
