My wife and I were having a great day, just got a massage and sang zippity doo dah up the elevator skipping like Mary poppins. nothing could ruin this Sunday. We attempted to walk up to the reservation stand but it was backed into the elevator exit. When the confused host finally gets to us I tell him we have a reservation. He looks around looking for a table like restaurants do that don't take reservations. I told him that we'd like to sit outside and we're perfectly happy waiting since our conversation was TEAin'. After 30 minutes we are finally seated. The view is on point with the exception of everyone trying to get around you to take that perfect instagram pic. Reviewing it and then the retake different pose, review retake. You guys know the deal. Eye roll. BUT so far not bad. We order a drink (horrible choices) unless you're one of those hoodrats that thinks casa migos is top shelf or that the taller and more colorful the bottle the better it tastes. Barf emoji (We ARE downtown) anyway... we order, appetizer was corn on the cob with mayo and tajin elaborately called eloté Some sprouts. If I'm being honest I thought of churches chicken. But what ever. Our server really tried, she was sweet, had a decent conversation on her, but it is as organized as that top drawer in your kitchen. Speaking of kitchens, our food was delivered to the wrong table. Don't know how this happened since they look NOTHING like us and are sitting in a corner. I watched the girl that got my order open it up with her l long nails ( I don't trust the sanitation of long nails and neither should you) she went through every layer and then said she didn't order that. NOPE there is no 5 second rule on a cholas nails. Unless she drops it like it's hot in market square. They then attempt to give the food to us and I finally had to say something. After a small debate (yes debate) the sub-server acquiesced and walked back to the kitchen with our plates. Long pause... LOOOONG like the cholas nails and lashes. Waters are empty for about 30 minutes now and the sun is Willie ... Willie BEAMAN! Our corrected food comes out and the same girl that dropped it off ... no words. No manager to apologize? Ok we move on...Can't ruin my day. Start eating and the food is not good. It's decorative like nice picture but not good. I immediately thought nah not worth the diarrhea that makes you tippy toe. My wife had the chicken and waffles. You know when chicken is cooked and it makes a strange rubber texture? Yeah. It was that. I'd imagine it's what chewing on a condom feels like. ( if you know what I'm talking about) CAN I GET A WHAT-WHAT? Anyhow, this girl at my doctors office suggested this place. Needless to say we are no longer friends! I blocked her from all my social media accounts, the nerve!. I'm thinking about getting poop in a paper bag and throwing it on her door step. You know Like that kid from can't buy me love did Malachi from children of the corn! You can eat here if you want, I'm not suggesting you don't but don't come loving this review after you get treated the same. I paid my $79 bill and thought, well the server tried. Don't be cheap, just leave a long review... and here we all are. Since you made it this far here's my advice. Youd be happier ordering great food with a crappy view but not the other way around read more

Honestly the worst service I've ever seen. We were a 12 top for brunch at 11am. To start they had a literal DJ which played music that was so loud we couldn't hear each other, and he was rude to us, one of the only tables there. Second our waitress seemed to just disappear for no reason and we wouldn't see her for what seemed like half an hour only for her to seem rushed. We didn't get food on the table until 12:30pm and when they brought it up half of our party had their dishes. Another 20 minutes to get the rest of the party their dishes. $500 dollars wasted, will never be going back and will permanently be the worst restaurant in San Antonio. read more

We went here twice Saturday early dinner and Sunday for brunch.My husband did an online reservation for both visits.I was not able to take a pictures of the dinner that we order.What I really like about this place is that they are very fast to serve our orders on both visit,but I recommend their brunch than their dinner menu.We order alot of food for the dinner and everything was served to us within few minutes same as for the brunch,however I like the taste of their brunch menu than the dinner.downside is that they have seperate menu for their alcoholic drink for brunch and dinner time which I tried to order and wanted to try one of their dinner drink bit they dont serve it in brunch.The place is really nice if its not summer I will choose to sit and eat on their rooftop but its very hot the time we went their. read more

Easily one of my favorite bars to come to. The ambiance gives sexy and sophisticated. Very Sex & the City vibes and I'm obsessed. The food is insane! They've expanded their menu and their 4Watson burger has the right amount of spice and savory to keep you indulged. And their drinks... wow. The presentation is Instagram worthy. This top floor restaurant/bar with a view is tucked away in a side entrance with one way in. So if you are not paying attention you will walk right by the hostess and elevator to get there. The bottom floor hostess and top floor hostess don't seem to be in sync. Love this place. Great addition to San Antonio. Really ads a nice night life vibe with a downtown city scape view. The ambience is gorgeous if sit out side on the patio. Small but the food is great so definitely recommend if you want to come have some small bites or just hang out and have some drinks with some friends or coworkers they have a great drink menu and cocktails. The service was pretty quick and the servers were very nice. Definitely recommend and would be a place I would come back to with friends and invite them out. We had a very bad experience at the Watson. We had a friend coming from California to invite him to the riverwalk and we wanted to invite him to know the beautiful San Antonio. We ordered drinks and my husband reported that someone threw up in the bathroom and the security guard came to us to let us know that we needed to leave the place because he "thought" my husband was the one who threw up. Beautiful rooftop bar located in the heart of downtown. I highly suggest reservations because according to the hostess they book up quick and only open half of their dining area to open seating. My friends hosted a galentines dinner here & we just loved the vibe, scenery, and drinks especially! (I didn't order any speciality drinks, just cider because the drinks were just wayyy too much to justify. Friends who ordered them agreed). The food was good but sadly wasn't great (especially for the price). If you're thinking of getting the street corn skillet, just skip it trust me. It's not anything close to a dip. Just loose corn with a bit of toppings which is impossible to dip any chips into. The brisket tacos were delicious but if there was just 1 more in the order it'd make the price a bit more worth it! For the record, there were open tables everywhere, but they were "reserved". We did not get served while we were there, so can't comment on food or drink cost/quality. Service sucked, but we didn't have a seat. You could stand around the perimeter of the patio, which has a great view, but we prefer seating. The views are incredible, you can see city hall and part of the river walk and all its lights. The food was delicious. I had the pork belly chalupas, and my husband was not too hungry so he did crab beignets. I hate to leave bad reviews. My wife and I make it a point to go somewhere new for our anniversary. This year we tried 1Watson. A huge part of the review is the poor level of service. The view is on point. The weather...windy...but you're outside, so that's expected. The ambiance...pretty cool. First off, it wasn't busy busy. Inside had a table or two occupied, bar had a few patrons, but outside had the most people. Our waiter...after 10 minutes of being seated with no interaction, our waiter touches base....saying he'll be right with us. I get it, he was helping another table. But I only saw he had maybe one other table that was "cool and hip" and frankly I'm not. But then doesn't come back for another 10 minutes. We decide to order both drink and appetizer because we aren't quite sure when he will come back. Our drinks take a good 15 minutes to come out...which isn't a big deal, but our waiter is walking around talking to other...seems to have no sense of service. in that time we saw him once, and asked if he could bring us water...as that wasn't originally brought out. As I looked around, other people were waiting a good amount of time for some drink with no acknowledgment. We ordered the chartcuterie board was ok. Went here a few nights ago and I will say it is a nice place We got to enjoy some good company and food. The few items were really good - brisket tacos, jalapeno peppers and corn dip. The only downfalls I felt were the chacuterie board, very overpriced for the amount of food. The Dr.Pepper sliders were very dry and didn't taste the best. A limited menu if it's not brunch even at that. The waiter we had was nice and welcoming, had no issue with us moving tables to see the view better.
