This is a portion of the Cha Cha dish from Tex Mex menu. Ground beef, guacamole, red onions and lettuce. So good!

The lower rating must have been because of opening-pains but let me assure you that the kinks are worked out and this is my new fav Mexican place! SERVICE/AMBIANCE Fantastic service. Nice low-key latin music not blaring that made it easy to talk. Comfy seating and shaded and fanned outdoor seating. Fast and super friendly wait staff that delivered food quick. FOOD Guacamole table service (yes, please)! The salsa scared me at first as it looked like ketchup but have NO fear it's muy bueno! Very flavorful. Verde sauce has SO much flavor. Spicy but not hot and so tasty. I've had 3 TexMex dishes and none of them have corn kernels in any thing (which I appreciate)! The enchiladas are stuffed with tender chicken and the ground beef is perfectly seasoned. The ChaCha was my first dish and it's a perfect combo of everything. Coke products/ Happy Hour 3-6/Cold beer and cold glass. Churros (yes churros) with coconut and vanilla ice cream. They have a light caramel filling (I'm going to ask if they can do it without the caramel next time).

The food was very tasty, specially the Ceviche. The mango really gives it a nice touch. I really like that the background music wasn't excessively loud, and that it was very clean. The service, however, need improvement. The restaurant was (judging by the naked eye) about 50% full, and our food and drinks too a long time. Furthermore, our server didn't check in us often. Our glasses were empty for a long time.

Recommend for anyone looking for good Tex-Mex. The service is great, and is most comparable to NOT being Rodeo Goat. Unlike in Rodeo Goat expect constant refills and low wait times on food. And for the food, great food at affordable pricing. I would personally recommend this as the best Tex-Mex in the area. Dil Doe signing out.

We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Departing, we talked about what we will order next time. We will be back to Craftway Kitchen!

They have the various different flavored tea. The Decor, cute, and effective. It's like there is a vibe of trying to be a local restaurant yet they are trying to survive in a corporate world. Now me being a T1D foodie means that I seek out meals comprised of meat and vegetables. Being a diabetic foodie is not fun or easy. My number one midday option is salad. If I were ever to be in a position in the restaurant world where I could Influence the menu, I would definitely make a true meal size salad a common option industry wide. In my opinion, ordering a salad isn't secret code for "I really don't want to eat." This is nothing against the original chophouse in particular because I have a hard time finding a salad at any restaurant that hits the spot. Yes, when we left the restaurant, I was still hungry. My wife didn't enjoy her meal very much because there was way too much salad dressing for her liking. The kids enjoyed it, I think. My little boy will eat just about anything. I never know what my daughter's gonna do in the way of ingesting calories. All I can do is offer her food and see what happens. There was nothing extraordinary about this little place. Unfortunately, for any business in Southlake, I seem to put higher expectations on them when I'm in that area. I don't guess that's fair to anyone involved with whatever kind of business transaction I may find myself dealing with while in that part of town. I would definitely go back there, but I would study the menu a bit more in order to find something that is a bit more filling.

We were greeted and seated right away. Service throughout was warm and attentive, our server checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They started us with warm, crispy bread and a yogurt-based dip that was quite flavorful. I ordered the lamb shish kebab platter (well done), and we also tried the chicken shish kebab platter. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
