Picked up a slice of pie for a quick bit and I just felt like this place did not hit the mark for a good NYC slice. The crust was bland, the sauce didn't taste as flavorful as I'm used to having here in NYC and I was just overall left disappointed with this place. This is the first pizza spot I actually don't care for here in NYC. I had one slice of regular cheese, one slice of mushrooms with olives, and one BBQ chicken. The most descent one was the plain cheese. The others I didn't even bother finishing. If you want a real feel for NYC pizza, skip this spot, it's not it! I left two stars because the plain pizza was ok. It wasn't good but it wasn't horrible and it definitely wasn't memorable. Best dollar slice in Hell's Kitchen! Get the garlic knots - this is the only location near here that offers garlic knots and they're super good and only 50 cents. Pro tip: If you get the garlic knots, ask the worker for some marinara on the side to dip it and then dip your pizza in it too. I always get the cheese slice and add garlic salt and oregano and eat it with the marinara. Rather than visit any of the other convenient options for a quick bite in the surrounding area, I just had to visit this location, which was not that far from my hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New York Times Square West. Oh, the art of putting together pizza! And this 2 Bros Pizza location gives you the chance to see the steps of putting together New York style pizza behind the counter. I ended up ordering two slices of pizza! A slice of cheese, and a slice of vegetable pizza for takeout which was completed in minutes. After my first bite of the slice of vegetable pizza, I said to myself "Ooouuu, crunchy!". It was crunchy, freshly made, and so delicious! Made me regret not purchasing two slices of it until I tasted the slice of cheese pizza which was far from a disappointment. Pizza place close to my hotel so thought I would give it a try. Many topping options to choose from and they heat the slice up after you order. Good selection of cold drinks to go with. Garlic knows available as a side option as well. I had the cheese pizza and taste was pretty good. Location is street corner and it's a few standing tables. We came here at like midnight on Saturday morning or Friday night, depends on how you want to look at it but technically it was Saturday at the crack of the morning. There was a line of about seven people when we arrived, the line moved quickly. I got a cheese pizza and a sausage and pepperoni pizza. The hubby got a sausage, pepperoni and maybe bacon pizza (can't quite remember) and a supreme pizza. If you are looking for quick, cheap and decent pizza, this is the place. Is it the best slice I've had in NY? No. But it got the job done to keep me content until the five hours for dinner. Staff is expedient. They may not be friendly but that's because of the volume and speed at which they operate not to mention the occasional person they have to ask to leave the premises. I got delivery from here through seamless the other night. 2 Bros isn't the best NY slice, but they are open late and the pizza is good! I like their white slice the best. The globs of ricotta are IT! My issue with this past delivery experience was that the one slice had some tomato sauce on it. This sort of defeats the purpose of white pizza, so I was disappointed that this was the slice I received. However the pizza was fresh and hot and the delivery was on time! What I really love about this place is that the slices are thin but huge and they took the extra step to toast the pizza, so careful that it is hot!
