I would not recommend these movers, so unprofessional . After calling Sean to set up the appointment for 2 weeks later, he said he would text me a confirmation after we hung up. He didn't. I had to follow up and he did finally 45 min later. Then the day before the move, I texted him for confirmation to see if we were still on for the next morning. No reply. I called a few hours later and he finally answered and confirmed. Businesses typically take the initiative to send out text or email confirmations. That would give the customers peace of mind. The customer shouldn't have to try to track them down for confirmation. Then he calls me the morning of and said he woke up late. They showed up 50 min later, not too bad. Then he went on and on about the universe and how much he looked like Kevin Hart the comedian, twice. I started to wonder if he was on something. They kept asking where to put the boxes and I told them wherever they could find a spot. Common sense. It made me feel as if they weren't very experienced. It took 2 hours and 20 min ( was a small, nearby , fairly easy move) and on the phone originally he said he wouldn't charge extra if we went over a little bit. He quoted $75 extra after the end of the move. I told him I thought everything he did was unprofessional and the reasons why and instead of apologizing he made excuses and asked me if I was perfect and as I walked off I heard him tell my mom I was uptight. Great Experience with this Moving Company. I highly recommend them for families or anyone with large items. I called with only 1 day advance notice, and they helped me with a move which included a large high end trampoline that was very heavy, which they disassembled and moved to a new location that was an hour and a half away. They took their time and took hours with the move, they worked very hard, and communicated with me prior to and during the whole process. They took care not to damage anything. On top of everything, they gave me a fixed price for the amount of time quoted and item(s) and it was 3 times less than any of the other movers I contacted. I'm so glad I didn't use any of those other movers. These guys really went above and beyond for my family. I did read the few negative reviews on yelp, and saw some of them were 4-8 years ago with people complaining about not showing up exactly on time, and 1 person said 1 of their items from a store wasn't what they expected. Well, they were on time for me, but even if I had to wait longer, I would have. I know how it is when you have a busy work day and you are trying to do your best. Sometimes things happen, but using a reputable company that has a good work ethic and has such a fair price is worth the wait, regardless. If you use a big company, it's going to be way overpriced and the same issues could arise. I hired Sean 3 years ago and it was not a bad experience. I got what I paid for. So I hired them again, however this time it was the worst experience even in consideration that I made sure to call in advance (more than two weeks) to schedule for a Saturday and texted my info over. Then the week of my move, I texted Sean to confirm and he replied yes but that he needed my info / move details again (apparently he had got a new phone, which did not inspire much confidence as you would think they would have a proper system/calendar with appointments and all). Well it was not, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP making all sorts of excuses from the rain to his guys being hurt etc.. There was even a point where he text me his ETA, stating "GPS says 27 minutes" then "12 minute" but apparently it was the wrong customer - figures with his poor phone organizing skills. My husband hired this company to pick up furniture and deliver it to our home. Although they responded quickly, and communicated the day of that they were running behind schedule, one of our pieces of furniture had a broken leg upon arrival. Although they claimed it was "already like that" when they picked it up, we verified with the furniture store that the movers loaded the furniture and the leg was not broken while it was there. Because they were running behind schedule they were also rushing, and damaged our door frame while moving furniture into the room. The guys were nice, but also tried to say we would have to pay more money than my husband was quoted. He had to call the owner of the company to verify we only owed what was initially quoted. We would not use this company again, even though their prices were fair. We would rather pay more to get a quality move and intact furniture and no damage to our home. read more

If you understand that you're hiring a guy with a truck, a trailer, and a crew and not working with a corporation with a labor pool, and set your expectations accordingly, you should have a good move. In my case they were a couple of hours late because one of his guys called in sick and he needed to pickup a replacement. That worked for me because I used the time to finish packing. Proactive and clear communication FTW. Once they showed up Holy Moly they *rocked*. I'm *really* glad I hired them and happy to recommend. Moving from a 3rd floor apt, with futons, and more accumulated stuff than I planned, they still loaded up in 2 hours and had me moved into my new place within the estimated time. This is the second time is am using 2 Brothers. They did great job in the past and this time as well. They wrapped up all my 2bedroom moving in less than 2hours. Even when they loaded my stuff on the truck and when they unloaded, they were very careful. Since i was moving into new home, i was not sure how it was going to be. They were so good and moved my boxes, beds, sofaset very carefully. They had masks. I gave them shoe covers. I was very confident on them doing this job for me. Eric and crew worked fast, took great care, damaged nothing and solved problems like removing/reattaching fridge door to get the fridge through the front door. Skip TaskRabbit--you need both experience and sheer mass to do that. By the way, the reason I called these guys first is that the first time we moved this fridge and couldn't physically push it up the ramp, two large men fortuitously stopped by and wrestled it up in a minute. Do not give this company any money. They completely no showed me on my moving day. I had an 8am move time and confirmed not only a week before but the DAY BEFORE. When I confirmed the day before, I was so appreciative and know how hard it is to move someone in Texas summer heat, I told the person I was texting I would have breakfast tacos ready for them in the morning... the person responded with their "preferred requests"... I was ready for them bright and early and 8:15 comes around, nothing. I call at 8:30, voicemail. I proceed to call and text every 15-30 min for the next hour in a half and nothing. Not too happy with the service for several reasons: the expected time to complete work did not match up with the time it took them to complete the job. It was almost as if they were lingering around to kill time in order to make more money; they take forever to respond to calls and text; they don't provide receipts for their work, and they leave without doing a final check to make sure they have taken all of their material and to make sure you have all of your things. After the unprofessional moving company, "All in the Family" and its lying owner, Johnnie, cancelled on me the night before my move, I called 2 brothers and they were at my place early the next morning. Sean was a nice person who brought two other guys and the three of them loaded everything in 15 minutes. I told Sean I could only pay for two guys, and he said it's alright. Just moved this past weekend and hired 2 Brothers for extra help with the furniture and a few other big items. Sean was very patient and helped me assess how many guys I would need and for about how long, based on my apartment size and what I needed moved. The guys pulled up that morning in the time slot that was agreed upon, and were incredibly polite and friendly. It felt like I had my own brothers helping me with my move! They were sure to wrap all of my furniture so that nothing was damaged, and Eric was very precise about turning corners so things were barely even bumped. HORRIBLE!! They were supposed to be at our apartment to pack up at 10 and by 10:30 I had to call them only to find out they were another hour and a half behind. Fine, I'll deal with it. Noon rolls around...nothing. 12:30....nothing. I finally call them and calmly let them know this is holding up our entire moving day and I think it's reasonable to request a discount and they refused. When I asked for him to connect me with his manager, he proceeded to tell my husbanded that I was being confrontational and canceled at 2pm on our moving day. Completely screwing us over because they weren't professional enough to give me a discount after they were already 3 hours late. Worse moving company ever. I used them for my move in 2015. Things were uneventful until the extra fees drove the price way up. I decided to give them one more try for my move in 2016, so I got everything in writing via texts because Sean will lie. I asked for 3 guys, he sent 2 guys that argued most of the time. It took 5.5 hrs the first day and another 2 hrs the next day... yes 2 days! And my furniture was not put together and now I don't have all of the screws to my furniture! read more

We just had the best moving experience. We live on the 3rd floor and have very heavy furniture. Sean and his crew arrived on time, worked very efficiently and took care of handling our items. Most of our boxes were marked fragile and you could tell they cared about their quality of service as they moved my things. I would definitely use them again when I need to move. If i had it to do again i would never have hired these guys. The guy named Sean was friendly enough, however, i had issues with how they loaded my truck. They actually used old rags/clothes and left over cable wire to pack and secure my things. They also used some of my blankets and pillows as well and i never gave them permission to do that. A lot of my furniture was scratched and a painting was damaged. I did not notice this until i unloaded the truck when i got to my destination about 800 miles away. Also, the business card said $100 dollars per hour for two men with a minimum of two hours and they finished in a little over an hour so i paid Sean $200, however, he then said there was an additional fee of twenty something dollars to compensate them for the gas? Normally i would have introduced them to my "Glock" as i felt i was being milked for as much money as they could get but as i was already planning on tipping, i went ahead and gave him $40. If i would have known how my things were packed i would have thrown them out. Moving is a hard enough experience without having to worry about people who don't do what they advertise. No one should have to deal with that! This is my honest feedback of my experience. Go with another company! read more

This was amateur hour all the way, with a bit of Keystone Clods thrown in. I've never encountered a move like this -- or a mover so unprofessional. The move -- obviously because it was not handled by someone who knew the moving business -- was done in stages, beginning on a Saturday night and ending Sunday night, with the owner, presumably one of the two brothers, appearing and disappearing. The second-hand U-Haul was too small, so the pickup of the one the users, then the owner's car, then MY car was utilized. Apparently, the owner has no employees, he just picked up casual laborers, one of whom was actually mentally challenged. A floor lamp never made it from the old place to the new place; the owner failed to attend a promised meeting about the missing lamp, and still has not offered either the lamp, an explanation, or compensation, despite numerous contacts. The only upside to the transaction was that only two items were broken, a mirror and a beautiful 4-foot pottery vase, and in good conscience I cannot blame the mover for the vase, painful as the loss was. As moves go, I would not trust 2 Brothers Moving Co. to move a paper clip from one side of the desk to the other. Find a professional. read more

2 brothers helped when I was in a tight spot of moving from one apt to another. The 2 men that helped were both strong and courteous. It was such a relief to get moved. However, the company's management was subpar for sure. I called the Thursday before my move out date to give Sean info on how many guys I needed, what needed to be moved and where I lived. I was a bit uneasy because he answered and didn't mention the company or even say who he was. There was also a lot of activity and shouting in the background. It wasn't the most professional call I'd jumped on but that's fine, I called late evening so he was probably busy. Whatevs. Awkward call but I was reassured when he said no problem, they have openings and they provide 24 hour service. I called back Saturday morning and was again told they had openings but not until 4. As I mentioned, I was in a pinch and wasn't in the position to pass up the service because my lease was up soon. He told me to text him my address and I did. I reiterated our conversations via text but didn't receive a reply for 5 hours. Reply just said "ok". It's Saturday so I'm sure it's a busy moving day. 4pm came and passed, I wasn't notified that they were running late or not coming so I called 2x, around 4:40 I got a text that they were on the other side of town and wouldn't be available until 5:30. 5:30 came and passed but after a while a new number called and said they were 5 to 10 min away, which ended up being like 30 min later. Two guys arrive about 6:15 and neither one of them is Sean, which I found weird. He could have easily let me know who was coming into my home. I had to give the guys the rundown again, as if Sean had never passed on any of my info...he hadn't so they didn't bring any boxes to pack the closet. Sean also didn't pass on the address my items were being moved to, which is really fkn important. I had to text one of the guys my address but they got lost. I don't really blame them for getting lost and not coming with the proper equipment but I did not like having my clothing dumped in pile on my bedroom. I don't understand why they couldn't place the clothes in the closet-which is in the entry of the bedroom. Anyways, I'm sure they were beyond frustrated and tired at this point of the day and ultimately it wasn't their fault nor mine. So they finished unloading the truck and told me they had to be paid in cash or check. I haven't carried personal checks in a decade so I had to hunt down an atm in the new neighborhood. I went to grab my purse and a random ass guy was in my apartment and the other 2 guys weren't. Idk if this was Sean or not. He didn't say a word just walked out and met up with the other 2 guys. I think it must have been him coming to pick up his part of the cash from the guys but then again if it was him, I don't know why he would walk in to my house without introducing hisself and thanking me for my patronage. I would have thanked him right back and given him some mgmt tips. The entire day I was racked with anxiety and upset that I had relied on this company after my initial uneasiness but at this point I was getting pissed because it was by now dark outside and I had to find an atm fast while they waited outside my house. I was cursing myself thinking that them getting lost and my impromptu atm trip would add significant charges to my moving bill. On the way back, I better composed myself and was more understanding of the situation. I tipped them $20 each even though they were late, mishandled my clothing and got lost. Ultimately, Sean should have managed the job more efficiently and provided the pertinent information beforehand. I'm sure the guys unknowingly get thrown under the bus like this all the time and that negatively effects their tips and their attitude , which is unfair to the guys and their clients. Dude needs an office manager, a secretary or a pen and a personal planner either one will markedly improve the insanity that was my moving experience. That or just give me an actual phone call BEFORE you're late and unprepared. I more than held up my end of the transaction by making follow up calls, paying to have my dogs boarded, and making sure everything was boxed up and sitting by the front door when they arrived. Everything got done and moving sucks in general. So if you choose this company be firm in what you need and make sure the information is passed on. I moved on August 31 2015..Never use this moving company ..they are not licensed mover and the staff that owner Sean used are unprofessional. They broker my new top load washer top that was glass and never paid it.it cost me with labor $347.00 alone to have it fixed plus the person who broke it step on to make room in the truck. Remind I have 1 bedroom apartment and it use take 1hr and 45 min. IT took them 6 hrs to do my Move since Sean workers of 3 men decided to take a break on my time. This company is cheap labor and lesson learned on last minute moving..
