    All my son's moving and storage company was all in all very disappointing and frustrating experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I paid a $100 deposit upon initially booking my move out and was given no confirmation email, call, or text message validating my move out appointment, leaving me to wonder if I was being scammed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to call myself a few days later to confirm whether my appointment was scheduled or not.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I called, they briefly went over details and gave me a quote that was around $389. They went over how they charged by the hour and I was fine by that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The day of my move comes and they give me an 11 AM to 3 PM timeframe. No attempt was made to keep in contact with me and keep me updated on when exactly they would arrive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I again had to call myself and ask where they were at. they told me around 1 PM they would arrive. The driver didn't contact me until around 1:30 saying he was about 30 minutes away. 2 PM came around and he said he was right down the road and I waited another 20 minutes. They didn't arrive and start until 2:30. The movers themselves were fine and great and very respectful, but ultimately careless because during the move out, they left a hole in my wall from moving the furniture. Finally four hours later we are all at my final destination, and I am on the phone with the manager to pay out. He tells me everything altogether is going to be over $1000, but "luckily my $100 deposit is going towards this," at this point I am fed up and furious. This is $400 over what I expected to pay. He tells me it's because of a 15% fuel surcharge (that comes from the hourly total) and an additional labor cost on top of the hourly labor that was not gone over with me at the very beginning and if it was, it was speedily glossed over. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lastly, I'm on the phone with the claims department to report the hole in my wall and the person's attitude and tone of voice was very dismissive and uncaring and made the stress of everything even worse.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This company sucks and is a total scam. Don't go there. I wish I would've read the reviews before booking.

    [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with this moving company, and I want others to be aware before booking with them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the day before my move due to time constraints and was told they had professional movers available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They arrived on time at 10 AM, but things went downhill quickly. Despite claiming to be professionals, the way they packed was careless and disorganized. They threw all my clothes together in piles, placed my bathroom trashcan next to my clean clothes and closet items, and used excessive amounts of tape and materials--without asking me first--and later charged me for it. I was also never informed ahead of time that I would be charged for things like gas and packing materials. I only found out about these hidden fees when they showed up and halfway through the move presented me with an iPad showing a total that was nearly double the amount I had been quoted. When I pushed back, they threatened to take my belongings to a storage unit instead--basically holding my items hostage unless I agreed to pay. While three of the four movers were kind, respectful, and understanding, the fourth mover took over 30 minutes just to reassemble my bed--even though the rest of the crew had finished their work. It felt like he was intentionally delaying the process so they could charge me for more time. He could have easily started earlier and finished with the others. I was told I'd be refunded for unused time, but that refund never came. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The real issue here isn't the movers themselves (except for the one who dragged his feet)--it's the company's management and call center.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was never clearly told about additional fees, and their handling of the billing felt manipulative. After a heated discussion with the general manager, I later found out he had looked up my LinkedIn profile, which felt like a total violation of privacy and was extremely unprofessional. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This company misled me, overcharged me, and treated me with complete disregard.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would never recommend them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you do decide to book, make sure you get every detail in writing--including all possible charges--because you will not get transparency from their team.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Sexual Assault, No Apology, No Accountability - Austin South One of All My Sons' movers sexually assaulted my wife during our move -- non-consensual physical contact while she was alone in a room. We filed a police report the same day. Austin Police investigated, and the case is now filed in Austin Municipal Court as a Class C misdemeanor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The company acknowledged this in writing but never once called, emailed, or reached out to apologize. Zero contact.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also damaged our property. When I filed a claim, they sent a settlement agreement with a gag clause that would have prevented us from speaking publicly. I refused to sign unless they removed it. They refused. I've attached emails showing their written acknowledgment of the sexual assault report, my request to narrow the gag clause, their refusal, and their complete lack of follow-up after a police investigator visited their office. No apology. No accountability. No resolution. Just a company that protects itself, employs movers with dangerous behavior, and still expects the victims to pay thousands for the privilege.

    Do not use All My Sons. They wasted so much space in my storage unit I had to rent a second unit. They left items unwrapped. Stacked items up in some places, while leaving fragile items unwrapped. At one point I saw a lightbulb just left out that they had on their truck. I am horrified by the damage and lack of respect for my things. They "packed" up boxes by stuffing items they had broken yet did not inform me of, but then leaving said boxes open and just thrown into the storage unit. I am so disappointed. They damaged the house by scratching the floor, walls, and doors. I can't even imagine the damage I will find as I unpack this storage unit.

I was honestly amazed by how careful they were with everything. They handled our furniture and boxes with more care than even we did, which gave us so much peace of mind. You could tell they really cared about doing the job right and making sure nothing got damaged. They worked hard, stayed positive the whole time, and made what could have been a really stressful day feel easy. It's not often you find a team that's this efficient while still taking the time to be so careful. If you're looking for movers you can trust, I can't recommend Einstein Movers enough. A 4 bed, 3 bath house took around 4 Hours to transfer to a 10 x 10 storage unit. It is VERY expensive - around $1000. If you have the money, value your relationship (because tired me = grumpy me lol), and hate lifting heavy stuff - it's worth it.

I understand that it's hot out and in no way is it acceptable that I was working harder and faster to move my belongings. Additionally, I was charged for 4.25 hours of work on top of the $160 travel fee? Why am I essentially getting charged for both travel and workers? Not to mention that your guys went to the wrong address for delivery at first so I'm getting charged for incompetence and slow workers? Also one of the guys took a 10min+ bathroom break at my new apartment. I get that nature calls and I also think it's reasonable to take breaks like that off my bill. I've used Two Men & A Truck seven or eight times over the years, across multiple states, and never, not once; have I experienced anything remotely close to what I endured on 12/17/2025. This franchise should be shut down, full stop. I never even thought to check reviews because my past experiences with this company have consistently been excellent. In fact, my previous move into Austin was outstanding, fast, efficient, detail-oriented, and professional. I was so impressed that I tipped each mover $100 and even gifted them brand-new clothes and shoes that had belonged to my late brother. That's the level of appreciation I normally have for this brand. This move? A complete disaster. The two movers, Austin and Fernando, were pleasant enough on a personal level but professionally, it felt like I was watching two people move an apartment for the very first time. Fernando tried to keep things moving, but they were completely out of sync because Austin simply could not keep up. Let me be very clear: This was a one-bedroom, first-floor apartment, moved just over TWO MILES away on the SAME STREET, into a second-floor loft. Total time? Almost FIVE HOURS. They complained about long walkways yet arrived without the proper equipment, which slowed everything down to a crawl. And to make matters worse, they didn't even move all of my belongings. I still have items left at my old apartment, costing me more money daily because I still have not been able to turn in the keys. I also lost a full day to move the rest of my stuff because I had to go to work. Everything was boxed and ready before they arrived. Yet Austin spent an excessive amount of time shrink-wrapping items furniture as if we were transporting things across state lines. We were moving down the street! The pace was so painfully slow that I eventually told them to only move the large items and I would just move the rest of my things myself. Now let's talk money. I was charged $160 per hour PLUS a $160 trip fee. WTF?????????!!!!!!!! Yes, read that again. The total came out to $1,040.00. I have never paid anywhere near that amount for a local move; ever. When I complained, and when my mother complained, we were met with passive-aggressive disrespect from the Operations Manager who came out to the site, he was so disconnected it felt like talking to a Charlie Brown character; nothing but noise, no substance. Then I was escalated to "Good Olé Patronizing Tristan," who proudly identified himself as some sort of Director. I could not tell. He handled my complaint with zero care, zero accountability, and maximum condescension. His response? "We're just having a conversation." No, Tristan; we were not. You were deflecting. You and your staff are incompetent. This clearly isn't his first time treating customers this way. He knocked $200 off the bill, leaving me to still pay $800.00, despite the fact that not all of my belongings were moved. Let me be blunt: It's very easy to be smug and disrespectful over the phone. That behavior is cowardly, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Be careful the energy you throw out because you will be faced with it right back if the lessons in customer service are not taken a round turn on. If he hates people so much why is he in a service industry? I stupidly suggested ogreman movers to my parents when we were looking to relocate the contents of our family home. Our credit card was "accidentally" charged twice. Dave has been absolutely abhorrent in the handling of the situation, especially after the bank (rightfully) reversed the extra charge. He has been completely unprofessional; extremely hateful and has continued to call my dad repeatedly to threaten and berate him. Like actual name calling and threats bordering on elder abuse. Dave is totally unhinged. Claiming we never paid him...reading other reviews it seems to be his go to scam....His treatment towards paying customers and humans in general is absolutely frightening. He is participating in actual extortion. Stay away from this scam artist.

They did an incredible job securing everything I had into the truck for optimum security. But the real cherry on top was the effort they put in to correcting the packaging of some of my furniture and other oddball pieces to make sure they got to my new state intact. They were friendly to have over and really put me at ease about the process, and on top of that their work was top notch. I would absolutely hire them again and I wish they have been on the other end of my move to do the unload; that team was far inferior to these guys. The price was fair and totally worth it.

    Clutter is the worst company, of any kind, that I've ever interacted with…read more I became a customer after Clutter purchased my previous storage company, Callbox. They managed to destroy 2 family heirlooms and eventually held my belongings hostage, refusing to respond to emails/calls until I started messaging people on LinkedIn. Because they refused to deliver my furniture or make any accommodations, I had to schedule a second cross-country move just for the furniture in my Clutter unit. Their day-to-day employees are nice (shout-out Grace!) but their middle-management is dismissive, does not care at all about customers, takes no responsibility for their company's mistakes, and hides behind their "corporate policies". Using clutter cost me thousands of dollars more than it should have. It is extraordinarily exasperating. I cannot fathom how they remain in business and assume they'll go bankrupt soon. I truly never leave negative reviews, ever, but I despise this company with a passion. Do not use them under any circumstance. Don't believe me? Read some of their other 1 star reviews--they outnumber their 5 star reviews for a reason.
