Update, 3 months later... Home remodeling completed and ready to move items back into house!! We had an onsite storage pod and off-site climate controlled unit (through Boxer Buddies). First of all, our planning coordinator, Daniel Gartland was once again friendly, efficient and ensured we utilized their unloading services to maximum benefit. 3 movers arrived on time, and completed unloading, reassembly of bed frame, unboxed our new mattress and set up on bed, as well as moving furniture and boxes to designated rooms (previously loaded by them prior to move out) in record time!! JC, Juan and Andre hard workers! Was nice having JC and Juan return to move items they had originally packed. This was the best moving experience. I had 3 movers, George, Landon, and JC, and they were awesome. My parents were with me and they also said they were the best movers we've ever had, and we're military so we would know. The guys were quick, careful, and really funny! I didn't think that was a requirement for the job, but it really helped. They packed my one bedroom apartment and moved into a house. It included an upright piano move down 2 flights of stairs, and they did an awesome job. Also it was the hottest day of the year in Texas probably. read more

The team was prompt and professional -- they even called about 15 minutes before arriving to let me know they were on their way. They showed up early, were very respectful, and brought extra blankets and wrap to make sure all my belongings were protected. Nothing was damaged, and the whole move went smoothly and on time. To their credit they worked with me on an emergency move. They missed the time stated then I couldn't get a hold of anyone with my stuff being exposed to the world, then at 8:45pm I did get a call and they sent two guys who don't necessarily work for the company but it's who they had. Those two kids were angels and amazing to go from getting a call to being in action. I tipped them knowing their situation. The price they charged me felt like it was a rate different than the two man without a truck (they used their own truck) one piece of furniture was damaged in the process my leather couch they made it sound like they didn't do it meaning they didn't tell me they did. That was the main furniture piece I wanted moved from Florida. All in all, I might try them again I wouldn't rule them out. It wasn't an ideal situation for either of us and I am grateful for their help. It was just the stress and miscommunication in an emergency that drops this rating as well as the couch that damaged and not owned up too. read more

If you are making a move around Austin (we moved less than 5 miles), please consider all of your options. While the employees that moved us to and from our old house to our new house were on top of the move, the overall move was really poorly put together. A giant chip in our marble table, paintings / artwork leaving the truck without any coverings, wardrobe boxes being stacked upside down and clothes just floating, couch with a hole in it from being dropped, several glass, serving trays, cups shattered. I totally understand that this is a business, and there are options, but please consider using a different company. IF you are in a bind, pay for the better insurance. We had thousands of dollars of destroyed items with the total coming back to us at $300. I think that if we experienced any amount of sympathy from Boxer Buddies, I wouldn't feel so compelled to write this. But the owners did nothing but point us to the third party insurance company. We have moved several times, across the country with less issues than this. On top of this, they will offer to come pick up your boxes - we were quoted a different price 2X and the total came out to $500. $500 bucks to pick up boxes and the individual had the balls to ask for a tip. Joke of a company, joke of business. Please consider other options. read more

I got a chance to work with the owner of Sarver movers. I had a complicated setup... moving container dropped off at my warehouse/office, needed to be u loaded and moved into the warehouse as well as taking about 20-30% of it from the container and also my warehouse into their truck to move to a high rise apartment downtown with one freight elevator and my apt being on the completely opposite side of the complex. On top of that it was hot af and then a random thunderstorm where it was pouring raining then back sunny. He charged me for 2 movers and showed up just to supervise so that was a bonus! And they showed up like 3 hours early. You can't beat that! All and all, they moved stuff within 4-5 hours that took me 3-4 days lol. I'm using them again when I move again!! WOW! This business (sister/brother team) is EXCELLENT. Look no further if you need storage or any move- big or small. I have experienced all of this with them and have had nothing but extremely positive experiences! Will and Jessica and their team are just what I was looking for when I arrived in TX to stay temporarily.  They picked up and stored my small amount of belongings after I stayed here for a month and then kept that stuff in storage (GREAT price!). Then when I decided to make the big move from LA  it was a no brainer to hire them. Will and his team packed up my LA apartment and towed my car to Austin! Alllll good. So easy for me. Amazing experience. I am used to mediocre moving experiences at best. Sarver was totally different. They were communicative from the beginning and wanted to make sure they understood my exact needs. They gave me a binding quote, which was slightly more expensive than other options, but I think in the end I probably saved money because the other movers would have probably ended up charging more in the end. I used Sarver Movers for my recent move from my 1 bedroom apartment. I originally did not think I requested 3 men, however having the 3 guys there made the move go seamlessly. Although I have not had the chance to inspect all my furniture in storage yet, I could tell my stuff was handled with care and attention was given to minimize damage. After leaving my apartment, the movers quickly and efficiently unloaded all my furniture and belongings into a storage unit. Based on my experience moving previously, I think the price for the services offered by Sarver is superior and would be very hard to beat.
