I had a technician come out to repair my water heater. He stated the water heater could not be fixed and that I needed a new one. wanted to sell me one at a charge of $1800.00 complete with labor. Worse service ever . Actually no service . They just don't show up even for appointments they make . Times and dates they pick . I took a day off after accommodating their schedule. Have emails and texts as proof of time and date. They did not show up , when I called their office .. first they couldn't find the appointment then they said it was a miscommunication and told me I would have to wait another week. None one said " I am sorry, or we will expedite or in any way go out of our way to help as it was our screw up." Instead they were determined to provide the worse customer service as possible . This must be one magical business ( sarcasm) as it obviously does not need customers, actually repeat customer as we would have have been a repeat customer . Extremely timely,professional and reliable. I had a water heater that busted last night. I called 2 Brothers plumbing and I was instructed on what to do to reduce further damage and was advice on what I should do to mitigate any possibility of further damage and ensure safety. They said they would be out the next day to do an analysis of the water heater. I let them know that it was 24 yrs old and I thought it was beyond repair and they agreed. The next day they called to let me know they were on their way. They arrived and took out the old and installed the new unit in about 45 minutes. They replaced my water heater through Cinch Home protection in January but they added in $625 of additional charges a great deal of which was inflated or even it seemed bogus. I asked them to show me the permits and proof of the back up charges and they gave me nothing. read more

The most horrible plumber ever. No concept of customer service just make money and leave.

We were put in touch with them through our home warranty for a shower leak. They came and said it could be a bigger problem with the piping or could be the caulking around the bath faucet. They told my husband to buy the materials and fix the caulking himself. They collected their fee and left without having performed any service. My husband removed the caulking to find a gap of a 1/4" between the wall; caulking would not properly fill the gap. After a week of being unable to use the only shower in our home, we called another plumbing service to fix the problem. 20 minutes after he arrived, he replaced the faucet, caulked, and it was fixed. And it cost less than the initial fee for 2 Brothers to just step foot in our home. Not impressed with professionals who tell us (not professionals) to do it ourselves. read more

I didn't want to write this review but after having no hot water, no showers with running water period and the plumber arriving with the wrong part, I feel I must. I have 3 kids, a toddler and 2 teenagers, if it wasn't because we just recently got a gym membership, we would not be able to shower. I was referred to this company by my home insurance ORH. When Jamal first arrived at the first appointment he smelled like he had a rough night of drinking, you could still smell the alcohol on him. He arrived and all he did was look down and said I needed a new gas valve, didn't touch or test anything. Took pictures and said he would order the part and come back when he had it and he seemed annoyed when I asked a question. 2 days later he arrives again only to realize he ordered the wrong part. He said they gave him the wrong part because he didn't tell them my water heater was an older model. And now They're scheduled to come back 5 days from now. The worst part is that I haven't mentioned their customer service... HORRIBLE. How these guys have 3 stars or more is beyond me. They have no sense of customer service. They just want that money. I called asking what we can be done and the guy tells me there's nothing he can do to rush the order unless I want to drive to Ohio myself and then has the nerve to say he doesn't want to sound r.. I cut him off and I said but you are. I said I appreciate it and hung up. I will be reporting to my home warranty to remove this horrible company from there list. I had called Jemal the other day in regards to an emergency my boyfriend and I had in our daughters bathroom, as well as a busted small pipe that leaked in our basement. He came as soon as he could, and already had know what the issue was once I had showed him where the leaks were coming from. He was very prompt and fast. My boyfriend and I were frustrated because it was on thing that lead to another issue but thanks to him everything was well taken care of. My boyfriend and our shower was even loose and he cocked it for us with no problems. He deff gets 5 star rating from us. In the near future if anything were to occur will will definitely call him again to make sure our house is suppose to be accurate. Around 8 months ago, I was referred to them through our home warranty. They came out within a couple of days to deal with a leak we had. They dealt with it and all was good. About a week ago, we called them out again because we were concerned we had a recurrence of the leak - and they were ready to send someone out the next day. Because of scheduling on our end, that didn't happen, but they did come out. The issue wasn't a recurrence of the original leak, so the original work they did was still fantastic. The only thing that keeps them from 5 stars for me is that on the first occasion, when they had to tear out ceiling, they left behind something of a mess - not a huge mess, but enough that it was annoying. These people were sent to us by the home warranty company as a leak was detected during a home warranty inspection, Jamal came out on the 20th of December. I showed the technician the photographs of the leaks and explained this problem happened before. He literally put his hand under the unit said no water and left. Took him three whole minutes. Came home to a flooded basement the 25th of December! Had to pay water remediation company and holiday surcharge of 500 for 2 Brothers negligence and file a claim for water damage. My home warranty, American Home Waranty called this company out to repair a broken shower faucet. They came out and indicated they had to order a part. A few days later I found the part at my door. I called them an asked when they are going to install, they said they are not I am suppose to install the part. Why would i need a plumber if I could do it myself. Horrible customer service. Advised by home warranty. Misquoted and diagnosed tHe issue. Said would need to rip out all pipes out of the walls to remove blockage in a pipe. This was untrue as GEO plumbing came in and replaced a part on a faucet and there was no issue whatsoever with pressure. If I had gone with 2 Brothers I would have spent thousands. Another quote was the water heater was priced a lot more than GEO plumbing. I will be advising home warranty to not use this plumbing service. Overall the gentlemen that care into service need to work on their customer service. I unfortunately don't recommend this group. read more

I've used Two Brother's Plumbing 3 times now. I decided to give 1 star due to my first service with them. Cesar was an excellent plumber and was very professional and knowledgeable. The 2 other times I was assigned Jemal. He knows I am a single mother and have 2 small children in the home. I've also explained to him that they do flush small things down the toilet that I have witnessed from time to time. He came for a service the last time and I was extremely disappointed. The toilet would flush intermittently but then fill very slowly at times and not flush. After my mom who was in town visiting told him this he proceeded to say "Well if it flushes while I'm here I can't do anything". He brought in compressor plunger, flushed it and left. I got home from work, and was the first person to use the bathroom after he left and it wouldn't flush and water would fill to the top. I called late Thursday afternoon, left a voicemail and no call was returned back to me. I called back Friday morning and spoke to Jamal. He proceeded to tell me "I don't know what to tell you, it flushed when I left" and that he couldn't come back till WEDNESDAY. I am throwing a party for my 4 year old son on Saturday and couldn't wait for him to come back again and be charged another $100 fee to do a job that he didn't know how to do. My poor father, after flying in from TX for the party, who is NOT a licensed plumber was able to diagnose and take care of the problem instantly. He took my toilet apart and found a wooden puzzle piece as large as the palm of my hand in the P trap. I had to miss a whole day of work due to trying to fix the issue that Jamal refused to assist me with. I will NOT be using them again and I hope no one else has to go thru what I did. 2 Brothers were sent out twice after not being able to fix the leak. I had a contractor come out and show exactly what was going on. Called the warranty company and explained that after two times of 2 Brothers coming out, the issue was not fixed. Oh, and there is only one plumber at this company. I didn't trust the work he did, and so when I requested a different technician they said he's the only one they have. Thankfully the warranty company is cancelling the work order and getting a different plumbing company. Maybe it's only like this with warranty companies. If so, it's bad. At 1:30, we heard the sound of water gushing from somewhere...so naturally, I continued to play my video game until my wife came streaming & screaming upstairs about the basement being flooded... I went to the basement, saw it was that dreaded PVC piping & turned off the water in the house. I called Marines-they couldn't do it until the next day-cool. I called Kinnett-they would have to charge me Overtime @ 250 per hour to come out (overtime for a 2pm call???)-no thanks. Called 2 brothers and Jemal was here in 45 minutes..problem was resolved in less than 30 minutes and I'm back to playing my video game (It's my day off--Don't judge me!) Absolutely the worst plumbing experience I had ever had. During the early morning hours of Sunday May 1st my water heater tank ruptured and was leaking all over my utility room floor. I have 6 adults and a 4-year-old in my house we depend on hot water. Anyway, around 8:00 am that morning I called and open a work order for my home warranty provider. My home warranty provider contacted 2 brothers plumbing to evaluate and provide the repair to my hot water heater. Their initial visit was scheduled for Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM. Jamal from two brothers plumbing showed up at 8:35 AM Tuesday morning he spent about five minutes evaluating the water heater I showed him where the leak was, and he said he understood. Before Jamal left, I asked him to contact my home warranty provider and ask for authorization to replace the water heater. Jamali informed me that he would not call the warranty provider until the end of the day. I said OK and Jamal left my home. Later that evening around 7:00 PM I called my home warranty provider and they told me that 2 brothers plumbing had not submitted anything reference to my ticket. I waited until the next morning to see if maybe my home warranty providers system was slow or hadn't been updated and I again called my warranty provider. They again confirmed that 2 brothers plumbing had not submitted anything to authorizations. I then called 2 brothers plumbing and asked Jamal if he had submitted the information needed to get authorization to replace my water heater to which he stated he already submitted the information to the provider. Now I understand sometimes systems can be slow, so I waited until the afternoon to call my warranty provider back again they stated 2 brothers had not submitted anything in reference to my ticket and they were still awaiting during my conversation with the home warranty provider. My provider called 2 brothers plumbing and Jamal asking if he had updated the work order and Jamal told them he had not submitted anything and was working on it. It is now Wednesday evening around 9pm and I once again call my provided to see if the order had been updated. As I suspected not word from 2 Brothers Plumbing. I still have no hot water. My issue is not with my warranty company my issue is with 2 brothers plumbing if they would have submitted the damage report or even called into authorizations providing the damage report this could have been put to rest quite easily. The home warranty provider would have authorized them to replace my water heater and I would have hot water in my house. Unfortunately, this has not happened my feelings about 2 brothers plumbing is it is not a reputable company, they blatantly told me an untruth, they did not follow through on what they're supposed to do to get authorizations from providers to repair broke items. This leaves my household with no hot water. As a last resort I called my warranty provider and had 2 brothers removed from the work order. Update Thursday morning the work order was given to another vendor, which I spoke with this morning, and they will be at my house around 5pm ish. They will call authorizations to get the OK to replace the water heater with the one that they will have brought to my house. read more

Home warranty company sent these guys to fix a few small plumbing issues. Our shower had a small leak and when the technician looked at it, he said the valve behind the wall wasn't compatible with the on/off handle and the only way to fix it was to replace the valve and handle which the home warranty won't cover. I had another plumber come out to replace the shower valve and handle. That plumber actually took things apart, whereas 2 Brothers Plumbing did not, and found that it was a faulty cartridge. The entire assembly did not require replacement. The part was only $60. He suggested that 2 Brothers Plumbing probably didn't have the part needed on their truck and didn't feel like going out to get it and come back to replace it. I do not recommend this plumbing company. I had three issues for them to address, one was fixed, the second was poorly done, and the third (aforementioned shower valve) I was lied to about. read more
