    Drink menu - summer 2026

We were headed to Bangor for a concert and we needed dinner before going into the venue. After casting around a bit, we decided on 2 Feet Brewing. I was a little put off by the open mike night happening out front because it was really loud, but the crowd seemed to be enjoying it. We went inside and were a little taken aback by how hot it was inside, even though it wasn't a really hot day. But, we decided to stay and are happy we did. First off, on the decor; quirky is right, with tons of Bangor tschochtkes and Stephen King stuff around the place. The place is far from fancy, but feels cozy. We enjoyed our dinners, with a little disappointment with the amount of mayo in the lettuce wraps. But the blondie sundae was epic! The owner/chef/brewer/bartender was really nice and took good care of us. This feels like a comfy neighborhood spot.

We stopped in here on a whim on our way back to Surry and it definitely satiated us. It is very unassuming and gives a locals vibe. Most people were sitting outside enjoying the weather so we were one of maybe 2 parties inside. The person behind the bar was very helpful and we ordered a mead and a glass of wine. Both were good! We also ordered fries and green bean fries. Both were actually really tasty. Since this place is so small inside, they don't have a full kitchen but they make it work! They have some dishes on the menu that make me question how in any world they get these on a plate without a full kitchen but they do it and they do it well. While we were eating, we heard multiple times how their lobster mac and cheese is they best thing they've ever eaten. Unfortunately, we were not there for anything involved, just a quick stop or else I would have been intrigued to try it. I would stop back in here for a chill vibe if I'm in the area. They seem like such good people that I'd love to support.

This was such a find!!! It was suggested to us by Dean at the Cryptozoology museum. Every plate was amazing. Our bar keep was by himself and was tending and cooking on his own but even so everything was cooked perfectly and so very tasty. And for small shareable plates these were good sized. Beers were excellent as well. My husband got the sour pumpkin and I had the wheat ale. Will absolutely come back but learn from us. Order beers and then only a few food items instead of everything at once like we did. Parking is available right in front after 5pm but. Edie that you'll have to find a lot.

A recent trip to Bangor found me trying some new breweries. This was our first stop and definitely had a cool vibe! It's a small bar, but had lots of character. For a small brewery, they have a good selection of beers and food! I was impressed watching the cook make butter chicken with minimal equipment. Several of the beers sounded intriguing, so I went with a flight! Their flights come in 3 or 5 pours, so I opted for 5! All of the beers were good! I wanted to try a lot of things on the food menu, but wasn't ready for anything substantial! I just ordered some garlic parm fries and they hit the spot! The aioli on the side was delicious as well! The bartender was also enjoyable to talk to. Overall, I would go back if I'm in the area again!

Um, all I can say is I don't get the vibe that this place was going for. It was cluttered and all over the place. I'm glad that I ate at a stop before here because after watching them "prepare" the food for other guests, I was like ummmm. For food, they pulled items out of ziploc bags from the fridge and through them in the microwave. The beer was only ok. Sorry, but it was a miss for me.

Lobster Rangoon and fries with lobster cheese and truffle oil.

The Lobster Rangoon was the best thing I ate while staying in Maine! Friendly staff and excellent service.

We came in here after lunch and just wanted to order a drink. The food menu looked very enticing and we would have loved to try some of their dishes. The prices also were good. My husband got a flight of beers and I went with a wine recommendation from the bartender. The beers were very unique ingredients that you wouldn't normally pair with beer. For my husband's taste, it was a bit too much. The service was very friendly and nice and just like other reviewers, if we lived in Bangor we would be regulars.

Stopped by here on a road trip to Maine. Love the vibe here. Such a great place to hangout and have some beer. Friendly service and really good beer. I would become a regular if I lived here. My boyfriend really likes the beer selections. It's unique. We had one that had jalapenos and ghost pepper. It was spicy but not the same way it would be in food, it was very pleasant. His favorite was the vanilla peach porter, which was really flavorful. The food is okay. Interesting options available. We had the lobster pot pie which was smaller than expected and was over cooked.

Another new brewery for me, I was barely familiar with the brand other than enjoying the DISCO SASQUATCH DIPA in can back in mid 2025. These guys were established in late 2017 & will be celebrating ten years next year in 2027. This area is beyond flooded with taverns, restaurants & a good amount of breweries, but with a name like Bangor Beer Co. it felt appropriate to check it out while staying in the city. The brewery is attached to the Oriental Jade restaurant which also doubles as a kitchen for the brewery with a mix of American & Asian/Chinese food. A good amount of different styles represented on the menu with a emphasis on various IPA's, some lighter beers like a Kolsch, Lager, Gose, Cream Ale, Seltzer & more. Let's check out the three pints I scooped & get into the beer a little more here. I started off with a pint of the BRITE Lager, a excellent light bodied Helles that brought just the right balance of malts & hops. This was a great crisp & smooth starter with a subtle sweet honey finish. I then grabbed a 10oz pour of the HABITAP Kolsch, it was another solid light offering with a malty, bready & sweet flavor. Even at a light 4.5%ABV it still had a good amount of layers & was something you could crush a few of for sure. I finished with a pint of the delicious JURI IPA, this was a super hazy New England IPA that brought the juice at a perfect 7.3%ABV. Theres some guava & passionfruit gimmicks here with a ton of tropical flavor that easily made this my favorite beer of the visit. We ordered the Totchos, which if you have followed my pages you know I'm a tot slut. These were as good as expected with cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, avocado & savory sauce. Then came the Bao Buns with Pork Belly which changed the game. There was a lot of food stuffed in the buns with the pork belly, pickled vegetables, hoisin & cherry chili sauce to finish it off. I left devastatingly stuffed along with the beers & couldn't have put anything else in my body if I tried. All your usual seating options here including tables, hightops & bar with a patio area outside. Plenty of beer to go for home or tastings with friends later. Great spot & definitely BEERGASM worthy with those light beers & dank IPA standing out. Cheers!

Let me tell you, there is nothing "big box" about this place. It's quirky and fun. Outside is a garden area for nicer weather and I believe they have live music at times as well. Graffiti-style murals including Rick & Morty (can't find my exterior pics anywhere) and other fun stuff. They even had a bouncy house when we were there. And yep, we bounced around like kids. The interior of the brewery is also pretty quirky, chill, and fun. The employees and clientele are super cool & welcoming. They have a decent food menu that includes stuff from Oriental Jade (Asian restaurant that served Chinese and Japanese food). Oriental Jade had been around for decades. If you're a Stephen King fan, you know all about it. Their food is yum. Anyway, Bangor Beer has a lot of other offerings like fish & chips, burgers, typical fare that tastes anything but typical. The drinks: Yes they're a craft brewery and they also offer cocktails and mocktails. I've only had beer (did try the NA beer that had & it was good). Their pours are of the highest caliber. The taproom has 12-13 different beers on draft at any given time. And of course, beers to go (cans). Draft beers in growlers too. Oddball is probably my favorite. It's an oat stout that sits just right on the tastebuds. The 10-12 is a great IPA with just the right amount of hops. Total A+ spot.

I like the Blackened Haddock Tacos and the pretzel sticks. Pro Tip: get BOTH the "beer cheese" and the "beer mustard" and get extra of both. You might have extra, but you can use the extra on sandwiches tomorrow. The extra mustard is also great with cheese and crackers as a snack. The blueberry cobbler is fantastic! The peanut butter pretzel pie did not impress my husband; he said the pretzels themselves tasted cheap, like grocery store pretzels. I have been trying to get them to add a vegetarian pasty to the menu. They have almost nothing vegetarian in there, and a Greggs style cheese and onion pasty would also be extremely traditional and surely wildly popular. PLEASE ADD A VEGETARIAN PASTY!! And/or a fish pasty, which would also be very traditional. Oooh, what about a Stargazy Pasty with leeks and cream? Now, THAT would be traditional and would certainly get some media attention. I will raise my rating to 5 stars as soon as this place adds a good vegetarian or fish Signature Entree (preferably a pasty!!). That is literally the only reason they're not getting 5 stars, that it's way too oriented towards meat eaters. (They do have a grilled cheese toasty and a vegan garden burger, so I would still go there if you are vegetarian or vegan, but keep your expectations low when it comes to selection.)
