Wally pinpointed the leak within an hour or so and was able to stop it until he could schedule me for repair, which was one week later. The leak was deep underground in one of the waterfall pipes (3 inch pipe). Wally stopped the leak by plugging both of the suction side inlets which was letting water into the broken pipe. A sigh of relief to know that the leak was at least stopped at this point. Whew. Wally and team arrived for the repair and cut three small sections of concrete to locate exactly where the pipe was leaking. This was not easy, but they were able to successfully repair the pipe, permanently stop the leak and restore the deck. All done very well and professionally. The price was more than fair for the amount of work done. A pool pipe leak can be scary for a homeowner. Wally will put you at ease and rest assured, he will repair it right. So happy I came across 2 The Point Leak Detection. My jacuzzi has slowly been losing water for about a year or so. It was a repair that I was dreading. Not only because of the cost but the additional problems I might come across while detecting leaks not only in my spa but maybe the pool as well. I gave Wally a call based on all the 5 Star Yelp reviews. I needed to find me someone I could trust. Wally came out 3 weeks after the leak detection was completed. He is one busy guy. He stated he was booked out 4 weeks but would call me up if he had a cancelation. Wally called me up 3 weeks later and said he was ready to go. A nervous excitement came over me. It was finally going to happen. My spa would eventually be repaired and I could finally put this behind me. The 1st step would be to pressurize the lines to make sure there wasn't any underground pipe leaks other than the cracks you could already see in the spa. He stated he needed to isolate the water leaks to the spa and be sure there wasn't any additional issues that had to be addressed. This is where the rubber meets the road. You need to be able to trust the professional in this situation. Luckily I called Wally. He gave it to me straight. Phase 1 was good news. Pipes were good, no leaks in the pool and he was able to confirm the cracks in the spa were the culprit. On to step 2. Concrete and plaster. This is were I should have asked more questions. I was under the impression the entire spa would be re-done. That wasn't the case. Wally's guy only repaired the areas that he felt were damaged. If the entire spa was repaired I would have been 100% confident the job was done correctly. Fast forward- the repairs were completed in 3 days. Unfortunately the water was still dropping by 6 inches or so. I was frustrated because I was hoping that this was going to be the end of my spa dilemma. Wally continued to trouble shoot with me. He was patient and didn't pressure me for payment at any time. This went on for a few weeks. Many, many texts, pictures and calls were exchanged. Wally stuck by me even after the job was done to figure this out. He assured me the cracks were fixed, but I needed proof. Wally walked me through a valve that needed to be turned to stop the water flow from the spa after the water level was at its correct height. I gave it a few days and the water level held true. I was now convinced Wally and his team did their part. He then suggested having the check valve repaired.
