I accidentally missed my appointment thinking it was on a different day, when I called to apologize the staff was so nice and understanding and got me scheduled within a week. During my appointment, everyone was so kind and really took their time. I appreciated that they told me all of the prices of everything while I was deciding so that way there were no surprises. When I picked up my glasses, the staff took their time to make sure they fit well and encouraged me to come back if at anytime I felt as though the fit was off. read more

The office visit itself went well. The doctor was friendly and informative. My contact prescription had changed slightly and they did not have the brand of contacts I was using previously so they offered me a trial pair. Unfortunately they did not have the correct prescription trial in stock so they had to order some and they said they would call when they came in. I never got a call. Two weeks went by and I called them to see if they had come in. A temp worker answered and said she would check into it and call me back. No call back. I called again 2 weeks later and had to leave a message. Again, no call back. I called a third time and a lady answered and said she would go check for me. I was on hold for over 20 minutes before I finally gave up. Ultimately I would recommend going somewhere else that has better customer service. read more

Went there for exam and glasses. When glasses came back lenses were wrong so they sent them back.never received the right lens after repeated calls.never got them.had to go somewhere else to get glasses. Please go somewhere else. Gave them one star because can't give none. read more

My puppy had recently just ate my glasses, was able to call and just come in and pick out new glasses. The manager was so sweet and helped me throughout the whole process!!! Great experience!! read more

Friendly staff but felt the doc just used same prescription. Had a cataract in my right eye told him had trouble seeing out of that eye. He told me it wasn't too bad, to wait a year. Went got a second opinion and they couldn't believe that he had told me to wait a year. The technician could even see into my right eye read more

A bad trip to 20/20 vision. they called said my glasses had come in so i wen't to pick them up so i walked in and the lady handed me my glasses and said hope you enjoy no fitting or nothing. I got a little excited and told her i needed someone to help me fit my glasses PLEASE. She snatched my glasses and bent the ends then said that should do it. Hurt my ears worse so i wen't back the next day and the lady acted like she didn't know me.. No help there. Will not use 20/20 vision again.....(.THANKS) read more

I walked in here to try and find my daughter a pair of glasses. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to pay for her glasses out of pocket this year, so I was looking for the cheapest route to go. They offered a 20% discount off our total, but I ended up getting a better deal at my optometrist's office. The staff was just really nice and helpful and they understood our situation so they didn't get upset when I decided to go with another place after asking them to place the frames my daughter picked out on hold. read more

Very frustrating experience with this practice. 1. Was unable to get correct prescription for contacts even after 2nd consultation with doctor; explained that vision in my left eye was still fuzzy (was given an initial trial pair, a subsequent stronger one for my left eye) 2. Called to request another stronger prescription as 2nd lens was not working well; was called a week later to pick up a new trial lens; found it was the same power and brand as the one I was wearing 3. Called to complain to practice manager and told the duplicate trial lens was given to me by mistake, that it was likely a duplicate sent by the manufacturer in error and put in my file; that there was no record of my call requesting the stronger prescription (even though I had it in my cell phone log so I know I spoke with somebody for 5 minutes) 4. Was told that sometimes contact lenses were not a viable option for older people and that I may want to consider glasses, but she would talk to doctor about a stronger prescription--I told her I would think about it and call back Went to a different provider; was diagnosed with early stage cataracts, which was why I was having problems with my left eye. Was issued a trial pair of lenses and able to see. NOTE: I did call 20/20 about the cataract situation--practice manager and doctor were not available. Asked the young lady to pull my file and see if there was any notation about cataracts and she said there was nothing in the file--"Oh but sometimes the doctor will makes in the computer that don't make it to the file." Asked her to just make a note that I called and that they should be more thorough in their exams. Received a call later that day from the "doctor's assistant" and there was, indeed, a notation saying that I had the early stages of cataracts. Asked why I had not been informed at the time of the exam--in fact, the doctor had told me "everything looks great". It was explained to me that since it was such an early stage, they normally don't even mention it to the patient because it takes years to develop to a point where it makes a difference in vision. While it may be the norm for some doctors not to discuss results with the patient (really???), I did not appreciate not being told. Bottom line: I will never return or recommend this practice to anyone. I think it's reprehensible not to let a patient know the full results of an exam--cataracts are serious and while there's nothing I can do about them at this stage, I appreciate knowing what I can expect and hopefully be more prepared when it does become an issue. read more

My Wife has been going there for years, since October she has been having problems with seeing through one eye with her contacts, she got her eyes checked and was told that she was just getting old and this set of contacts would help. When she got the contacts she got home and noticed that it was the same as the ones she already has. she called 20 20 and was told that was a mistake and they would order her another set. about 2 or 3 weeks later my wife called and was told "oh yes they are her" she went to get they still the same. My wife decided to go to another doctor. she went to another office and paid to have her eyes checked once again. well she was told the reason she was having problems was that she is starting to get a cataract in that eye. the doctor at 20 20 vision doesn't have a clue what she is doing. do not go to 20 20 vision AND THIS IS MY OPINION read more

Where do i start? i ordered two pair of glasses. The first pair the perscription was incorrect and they had to redo them. The second pair had to be sent back because they were also made incorrectly. Also, I paid in advance and they lost the receipt, luckily they later found it. The staff is very nice and friendly but they have quality issues big time! read more

I've been coming here for many years. It was always good to see the staff. The staff are very people friendly and professional. I've seen the new doctor for a year, and she still can't get my contact vision correct. On the last visit I was given trial contacts and could not see far away in them. I contacted the office to make them aware of my problem. I was told to try them longer. It ended up being almost a month before I could contact the office again. When I did speak to staff I was put on hold. Then the doctor came on the phone and rudely told me that I just needed to order the contacts. I was treated like I was trying to get a new pair of contacts free which was not true at all. I never got the opportunity to explain why I was just then contacting them. I love the company and staff, but I will never return without an apology from the rude doctor. Please think twice before you use her. I believe patients are like cattle to her. Move them in, get them out. I'm so disappointed because I've always loved this place! The female optometrist I saw is Megan M. Sexton and she is very rude and unprofessional! I hope they replace her so I can return to my favorite place!! read more

The exam and optometrist was fine...but after a year of experiencing difficulties with prescribed glasses, it was all downhill. Promised to make good on the first glasses with a discount and different prescription; I never received responses from many follow-up calls. They apologized and said they would call back and check on my order to no avail. I would NOT recommend this office for reasons of insufficient practice in all areas of eye care! The office admin. is lacking in customer service and does not take your calls or questions seriously. Find an EYE DOCTOR with great customer service staff! read more

I went for my yearly checkup and my insurance allows me a % for frames, lenses and/or contacts. I got my checkup, picked frames and the process was underway. A week later, glasses were in. I got there and put on the new glasses, immediately knowing the Rx was wrong. I was told to give it a few days for my eyes to adjust. I wore them out to the car and nearly had an accident on St. James pulling out (couldn't see). I called back and got another appointment to be rechecked for my Rx. The second exam was a different optometrist and got a completely different Rx. Lenses re-ordered...wrong again, couldn't see. Set up a third app't. and requested to use the same Rx from my old glasses since I had no issues with the old ones. New lenses ordered and wrong again. When I asked after the third attempt, I overheard from the back "We can't keep doing this, he's going to have to get used to them." I walked out with frames and lenses that sat in my drawer for a year until I could get renewed insurance coverage for the next year. I took the frames across the street (by Dunkin Donuts) and they ordered lenses and got it right the first time. read more
