Last week I was on King St. with my kids, and passed by the Warby Parker. It's time for my…read moredaughter's annual checkup, and her last pair of glasses cost me around $650. Warby Parker is known for less expensive glasses, and I saw in the window that they had some styles that I knew she would like. We poked our heads in and made an appointment. We showed up this morning for the appointment and we were quite early, but they were able to see us early too, which was a real delight. The sheer lack of paperwork was refreshing, the pre-appointment stuff online was quick and relevant (seriously, why does the eye doctor need to know if my grandma had asthma?!?!), the in-store was simply showing my insurance card. EVERYONE here was just simply amazing, too. Extremely personable! After my daughter saw the doctor, she came out to give me a status update on her eyes, which was appreciated. Checkout was fast, and the price with my insurance was incredibly reasonable, far less than the other eye doctors I've been too, including big chains like Stanton Optical and Lenscrafters.
