    Jameson And Soft Pretzel Sticks
    Steve A.

For the looks of this Schenectady bar, it's average. It doesn't look like much to be honest. 20 North Broadway even has a generic name. Has some great beers and cocktails. Only pretty average food but it's not bad though. A great place for watching games. It's packed when there's something on. The bar is kind of a tight fit, partly because of the crowds blocking the entrance and stuff. It's about $8 for a basic cocktail. There's great reliable things like Jameson. Food is more of a crapshoot. It's about $9 for the Soft Pretzel Sticks. Seems like a lot for these. A redeeming factor is these come with horseradish mustard. This is the best part. Good beers and cocktails. It's one of the better places for watching games if you're okay with crowds in tight spaces. The food is the usual kind of bar stuff like pretzels, wings, and whatever.

A go to spot in Schenectady for comfort eats and NFL ticket. There is plenty of free parking in the LAZ lot directly across the street. In the warmer months there are alley and back patio seating options. The inside of the bar is traditional with drink and music memorabilia. The restaurant changed ownership a year ago but the charm did not change. The drafts rotate frequently and Flower Power is my favorite choice. I try to rotate food items from tendies, Reuben sandwich with Mac salad and chicken wings. But I typically get the award winning wings. Always order crispy! The mix hot buffalo and paresean garlic sauce is insane.

What a great little spot! I'm so glad we stopped in. We weren't sure what we had gotten into at first, as it took an awkward few minutes for someone to greet us at the door & help us to a table, but we realized pretty quickly that we had found a great local joint. The service - Wonderful, pleasant, & accommodating. We let our server know right away that we were very, very thirsty & she appeared moments later with glasses of ice water for everyone & a big pitcher for the table. She also brought me pickles per my request (I only asked for one, & she brought three!) The prices - Phenomenal! It's rare to see good quality food priced so reasonably anymore. I got the Blackened Chicken "Big Salad" with their homemade tomato basil vinaigrette with a side of fries. It really hit the spot. The interior - Fascinating & fun. So much to look at. Great posters, stickers, beer cans, & pictures on the walls. The bathroom door was all carved up with initials & messages from prior customers. Loved it. We will be back if we're in the area again!

    Chicken Wings Triple Threat

20 North is an old fashioned bar setting with plenty of bar seating and a few booths and tables setup along the sides. They have plenty of beer on tap including fiddlehead, Sierra Nevada, Coors, Yuingling, blue moon and Guinness to name a few. There are also plenty of liquors for cocktails. I took the recommendation of other reviews and got the wings. They were extra crispy and delicious. There's a fine line between crispy and over cooked. Some of the wings in the order were perfect, others a bit overdone but the sauce more than made up for it. I also sat at the bar and the service was pretty good. The bar wasn't overly busy and it took a bit to place my order but everyone was extremely friendly and kind. I'd be back.

If you have not stop by this location, you are missing out. Nothing fancy just down home food and fun good drinks good atmosphere kind of a dive bar but I love it so come check it out. It may be crowded because I'm not the only one who thinks this place is pretty awesome especially their wings.

    Garlic parmesan wings

Came here with a group of friends and was very pleased with the wings. I tried the triple treat, squash and garlic parmesan flavored wings. They all were delicious in their own ways. But I had a personal preference on the squash since I like buffalo flavored wings. I also liked the garlic parmesan wings because they were crispy delicious. The triple threat had too much sauce for me but it was nice to try everyone elses wings. Pro: -Delicious wings and great flavors -Great portions. Left feeling not to full and not to hungry. -Asked us if we needed anything else while eating -Was flexible on taking our order as people arived Cons: -Took quite a while to make our order. Maybe because we had a big group Tips: -If you come with friends or family, you should try all the different flavors they have for wings. Each person picks a different one and you just share.

5 Stars for pub/bar food 4 Stars for atmosphere (loud, busy bar next to eating space) After dinner in a fancy restaurant last week, tried 20 North Broadway in Schenectady for A+ pub/bar food includ. Steak Sandwich, Patty Melt, curly fries, soup, and wings. Cole Slaw was a C+ Delicious food -- Took 1/2 home. Service in spite of packed place earned a 30% tip. Dave was pleasant, attentive, and helpful. Large glass of water was replaced without asking! Got order of amazing WINGS to go for grandsons. Wings are large, flavorful but not greasy or wet. Yum. Wed. -- 12 wings are $9 instead of $12. Large bar, several booths next to bar, and four tables in back. Weather permitting, there is a large covered patio area in back.

Delicious, delicious medium wings. Saturday I went to a little corner of heaven located in Schenectady, and I am very mad at myself I hadn't made it here sooner. I arrived around 1pm, alone, ready to dig into the 'best wings' in the area. I was not doubtful, I was ready. Many people whom I trust have named these, the best. The small tavern was packed for lunch. No seats at the bar, but I was lucky that within a few minutes, a table was cleared and I swiped it up. The waitress was sweet, my glass was always full, which was good because I was there a while. The waitress warned me that the kitchen would take a while, no problem. I was in the mood for a few beers. I was not planning to wait an hour for a dozen wings, but honey they were WORTH IT. Yes, an hour wait. Once that plate of hot, buttery, chicken wings was in front of me, it was worth it. That first bite, crunchy. tasty, yum! The sauce is definitely unique, addictive. The crisp they get on the wing with out drying it out was divine. My one complaint is, these wings are phenomenal and need an appropriate side served with them. The blue cheese dressing is not on par with the quality of the wings. A house made blue cheese would have really put these wings over the top. I hope they eventually get there. I can not wait to return. Just skip the blue cheese and appreciate the pure taste of the wings!

Best wings in Schenectady, possibly the capital region. Fresh, crispy, and delicious. Blue cheese dressing is nothing to write home about; keep the wings clean and pure with garlic parm. Not a bad chicken salad either and the price is right at $9. Good prices on beer and fun low key crowdz

    Habanero honey wings.

Another one of our stops for the wing walk. This is the one I was most excited about trying bc the name stuck out the most. Honey habanero. What!?!?! Anyways, wings were perfect w a ton of meat and crispy and the flavor was sweet then a slight kick afterwards. I deducted one star for one reason. Instead of blue cheese they gave us mayo!?! We couldn't tell at first bc the wing was kicking but afterwards we realized and we'll... that did it for us. So if you go make sure you get the right condiment lol

If you're a seafood lover, they do a great job with their seafood dishes. The table next to us ordered shepherds pie and it looked and smelled amazing, I could hear them raving about it. We started with the seafood stuffed mushrooms, and we're starving so forget to take a picture. The portion was generous and plenty for 2-3 people to share. I ordered the seafood boil which was a special and it was so flavorful, loaded with garlic and a side of drawn butter. My husband ordered the seafood fra diavolo, it was loaded with seafood and had a very good sauce.

Back in the day they would have pizza brought over from their pizza shop across the street bud the pie was good. Fast forward to our trip this year. It was our 19th year wedding anniversary and the wife and I were looking to try something new. The pictures from the food looked great so I figured this was worth a shot. Upon arrival we were greeted very warmly and the bartender and waitress were both warm, friendly, and it was all very natural like we just walked into there home. The place is decked out in craft Irish stuff but it was just at patty's the week before we had gone but I imagine that is a typical look there. We both had a dirty martini which was made very well and the waitress served them table side with the remainder left in the glass fir us to pour ourselves. Very nice touch! We had scallops wrapped in bacon and a French onion soup as an app. Both were good but the soup was a bit cold so we asked to have it warmed up. The staff handled it well they didn't make a huge deal and just got us a nice hot soup with no excuses or rambling on about this "this never happens" or "staffing issues". On to dinner. I had the steak Au Poivre with mashed and veg. All of it was done well and the portion was perfect. The wife had chicken piccata which had a great egg batter on it and a nice white wine butter sauce. We also ordered some Togo meals for the kids and they enjoyed them as well. They had boneless wings, a burger, and a chicken parm sub. I would definitely recommend this place for a medium priced dinner and drinks. Very friendly staff and the place was super clean and well put together. We will be going back!

I still really like this place, but the service was way off on this particular day, even though they were not busy. We ordered three Road House Burgers, two with sweet potatoes fries, and one with regular fries. We were only served one burger w/ sweet potato fries, but we were charged $3 extra for each burger! And one burger was missing bacon. The amount of blue cheese crumbles and caramelized onions was minuscule. The burger patties themselves are unseasoned, so the toppings are key. Overall, it's a decent burger and I like their fries, but it's hard to overlook the mistakes with our ordering, especially when we were overcharged because of it.
