    Double fisting it!

If you're looking for your typical bar experience this is not the place, that's next door. However, if you're looking for good, stiff drinks made with top shelf alcohol and perhaps freshly squeezed juice if your drink calls for it, then by all means hit this place up. Drinks aren't cheap and you'll definitely pay a premium but you do get what you pay for. Originally opened as a whiskey lounge, it has since expanded its selection to offer the most pickiest craft cocktail connoisseur a wide variety to choose from. I can honestly say I haven't had a bad drink here. The bartenders have always provided me with exceptional service and i've never had to wait long for a drink. In the event that I may have to in the near future, at least i'll know they're taking their time concocting a delectable drink sure to please my palate. This place does have a dress code so keep that in mind if you plan on stopping by. It's nothing outlandish but I do think they aim to cater to a certain clientele. One thing I don't like about this place is the shared bathroom with no mirror or seat covers. A girls got to touch up her lip gloss and doesn't want to tinkle where nasty boys have sprinkled. ;) Stay classy!

(09/30/16) First time here and it was a good experience. Greeted as soon as we walked in and was handed drink menus. I went with a whiskey sour using Bulleit Bourbon since they make their own sour mix, and it was quite good. Next time I'll ask for less ice tho Bc I felt I barely had much drink. The ambiance is nice and the 2 bartenders there were cool. I do wish they had better beer selection like more local breweries (21st Amendment, Drake's, High Water, etc.). I'll stop in again tho when I'm around.

We were so happy to find this lounge after a day of stopping into wineries. It was nice to end the evening with one of THE BEST old fashioneds I've ever had. Seriously. Not sweet, totally smooth, and spirit forward. This guy makes a mean drink.

Similar to a pink lemonade with blueberries made by Andy! Delicious!

A bit small, but for my first "bar" experience at home, I enjoyed it very much. Clean, modern, had a nice ambience. Apparently it's new, & owned by the same people who own Ollie's right next door (I think you can bring your drinks back & forth?). Andy was our bartender, who I just had to tell what type of drinks I like (vodka, sweet, whatever, etc) & he made me a pretty little mason jar concoction with muddled mint and fruit. It wasn't too strong, but not too light. I loved it! My friends & I will definitely be back!

A correct Classic Daiquiri, just rum, lime juice, simple syrup

Lots of negative reviews regarding bad service but on our visit we had none of those problems. Anyway this review is based on the excellent cocktails and great service from Steven. We spend a weekend or 2 at our condo in SF every month. My hobby is following the ever changing cocktail scene in the city. I can go into any bar and order a classic daiquiri or a Negroni and get a proper one. Sadly this is not the case in the valley (Sac is the exception, some great bars there). Anyway I ordered a classic daiquiri in 20 North and ... Got One! Wow, so I figured I'd throw the bartender a loop and ordered a Kingston Negroni. (just a Negroni with rum instead of gin) Well what a surprise when he asked which rum! I realized that this was not a typical valley bartender but someone who knows the classics. Also had a Mai Tai that wasnt red or blue or any of the other wierd colors I've seen but the proper brown amber! 20 North in Lodi can make a correct cocktail. Nice that it is right next to the place that has a cocktail list of all kinds of wierd Red Bull concoctions and flavored vodka drinks. Anyone who likes that sort of drink can go there, I'll have a proper drink in 20 North

For me all of this is a bonus and makes me want to start spending my money in Downtown Lodi rather than heading to Downtown/Midtown Sacramento for quality drinks.

It was our first time visiting from the Bay Area, and it was truly a memorable experience. We ordered the chicken wings and calamari, plus two drinks. Our bartender recommended the Freak Show Cabernet, and it was delicious. I appreciated how attentive the team was: when I accidentally knocked over my drink, the staff quickly and graciously helped clean up, along with a few flowers I bumped in the process. I apologize for the clumsiness on my part. The chef also came out to greet us, which was a wonderful personal touch. Overall, we had an incredible time. If you're looking for great food and warm hospitality, I highly recommend The Exchange. I'll definitely be telling everyone on social media to stop by for a wonderful experience.

We sat inside, where the space features exposed brick, artwork throughout, and very comfortable seating... my partner specifically pointed that out. The layout includes a mix of seating areas, which gives it a more relaxed, layered feel. The bar area, known as the Ghost Lounge, adds a darker, more lounge-like element to the overall atmosphere. Service was excellent. Our server, Lacy, was friendly, attentive, and witty - easily one of the best servers we've had in a while. For drinks, I had a local Oak Farm red wine that was excellent. Others in our group had mimosas, which were well received... especially the grapefruit mimosa, which my partner really enjoyed. For food, there were several highlights. My partner had the chicken and waffles and loved it; I tried some and would agree it was very good. Another person in our group ordered the steak breakfast tacos, which came as a set of three. They only ate two, and I had the third and it was delicious and something I would recommend. Another in our group had the eggs Benedict and thought it was excellent. I had the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs. It was okay, but not something I would go out of my way to order again. In terms of value, prices felt consistent with the quality of the food, service, and overall setting. It's not a budget brunch spot, but it feels appropriate for the experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable Easter brunch with great service, a comfortable and well-designed interior, and several strong menu items. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5, though if half-points were an option, this would land closer to a 4.5. We'd definitely come back.

Now was a good as time as any! As we entered, there was a sign to meet at the bar for seating. The waitress/server came out after a bit of a wait and according to my friend, it's usually a longer wait time around lunch for someone to come out and seat you. I was recommended to try the pork schnitzel by my friend and it did not disappoint. I got my sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered the deviled eggs to share. My friend has never had the deviled eggs before and pleasantly surprised and delighted that the eggs were absolutely delicious. They're very smooth, eggs were cooked perfectly and the touch of bacon was just right. It does come with a small helping of mixed greens topped with pickled onions. The pork schnitzel was crispy & crunchy due to the breaded pork loin, came with pickled onions, slaw and the chipotle aioli sauce. The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it. It paired well with the sandwich. One was spicy and the salad was tangy but refreshing. My friend also ordered the pork schnitzel with beef tallow fries. I tried some of her fries and they were thin but still crispy. Overall the food at West Oak Nosh was so good and delicious! Service was good, prompt and our server was attentive despite being by herself. I think this place is great for the summer to have a drink and eat. Will have to come back for the drinks!

Total for two was $40. What a deal. But you get what you pay for. Drinks weren't super strong and the flavors were not as authentic. The rice and beans with the enchilada could use some improvement. It's contemporary and the furnishings are quite comfortable. It's the type of place you can settle in and have a casual meal without feeling rushed. Prices are high yet the quality is excellent. For the first evening at the bar we settled into a high top table. You can sit at the bar, lounge type seating or outdoors on a pleasantly shaded patio. They had an expanded bar bites menu as the main restaurant is closed on Wednesdays... most of it quite enticing. We opted for cocktails to start and I chose a specialty Date Maple Old Fashioned. It was really good with a large ice ball to chill it. For bar bites we shared the pork belly sandwiches (small, delicious but messy to eat), the sausage skewers (amazing!) and crab cups (refreshingly light and easy to eat). After cocktails we had glasses of a light white wine, made with Santorini Greek grapes. For the next meal in the dining room the place was a buzz with activity but conversation was easy without a lot of excessive noise. It's intimate and the room is quite pleasant for a gourmet meal. We started with cocktails (same Old Fashioned) and shared the grilled Brussels Sprouts which were plentiful and ever so delicious. They were slightly over grilled for my taste yet it didn't distract from me enjoying them. We got bread which was a baguette with butter and the consistency perfect for a French style loaf. For my entree I debated between the scallops and the pork chop and went with the chop. I was quite pleased as the chop came in thick slices and drizzled with a tarragon mustard reduction sauce. It was amazing, tender, juicy and at 22oz I couldn't finish it all. It came with a tasty apple sauce and grilled seared cabbage. Absolutely delicious. Ed, celebrating a birthday, had steak which came with a huge bowl of mashed potatoes which I tasted. Oh my gosh, the creamiest potatoes ever! For dessert we shared the cheese plate, a really great way to end the meal, with glasses of a twany port. All of the cheeses from a brie to a hard cheese were top quality. Service both times was very attentive, professional yet personable. We were well cared for and everything went smoothly. It's expensive yet the experience and value is worth visiting.
