Flavorful, tortillas were crunchy, customer service was nice and place was clean. I'm usually not huge on potatoes but these were so gooood! Salty, flavorful, seasoned so well! The chorizo and eggs were on the bottom more than the top so by the time I was done I had a bunch left over. My friends got the biscuits & gravy. The portions are huge & they're saucy! Had a chance to try it and I usually don't get biscuits but felt they were pretty dry without the gravy. But even with the gravy more on the dry side. My friend and I were in downtown Lodi looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite to eat before we headed out to the wineries. While walking by, we decided to give this place a shot. The staff was friendly and was able to find us a seat either inside or outside. We elected to sit outside because the music inside was slightly a little too loud. The staff understood and we got to sit on the patio under the umbrellas for shade. I ordered the BBLT; Bacon Lettuce and Tomato sandwich, with the homemade potato salad. I'm always nervous when ordering a BLT somewhere as some places hardly give much bacon on their sandwich. Not this place however, they loaded my sandwich up with bacon and it was amazing. The potato salad was light, not over salty, or sweet. Just right, where you could season it up however your tastebuds like. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Mimosa menu is plentiful, though I didn't try them. Our server was attentive and very polite. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla (basically an omelette inside a tortilla). Very tasty; I finished it with a cup of fruit to clean the palate. My daughter had the Belgian waffle with bacon on the side; her hot chocolate was delicious, so she said. My wife had the chile verde breakfast plate. She really enjoyed it as well. Came here for breakfast and service was very lackluster. Our server don't remember her name but she had pink hair didn't give us good customer service . Our breakfast was over 100 dollars and we still tipped at 20% even though I wasn't happy with the food or the service . She was way friendlier with other guests as they arrived . A casual spot in downtown Lodi. I had went with some friends around the holidays, and we had to wait about forty minutes for a table to open up. It was a bit distasteful, however, to wait next to piles of dirty dishes with food left on it. Not sure why they left a dirty cart full of dishes next to the bathrooms/waiting area. Once we sat, however, we were able to order quickly and served quickly. I love coming here for their drinks! Their Lava Colada is delicious and perfectly balanced the alcohol with the sweetness of the strawberry colada. Top it off with whipped cream for an even sweeter treat! The Mexican Skillet was huge! I couldn't finish one plate in one seating and took home leftovers in a styrofoam to-go container. I could have done without the salsa since it didn't taste fresh and seemed to have been sitting in the fridge for a while. The eggs? biscuit, and avocados were delicious though! The biscuit was baked fresh and super fluffy. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the biscuit was very soft and not stale. Good thing I had ear plugs in my purse (from Best Western) cause this place was too loud for us. They were playing club music, and we could barely hold a conversation. We shared a strawberry lychee mimosa, which gave me a nice buzz - I can't hold my liquor. Portions were huge. The food here was decent but I think the price is definitely expensive. See my breakdown below: Ambiance 4/5 - I like the vibe of the place and I could definitely seeing a ton of young people coming here to have a nice break from work or for a fun night. Price 1/5 - This place is extremely expensive. A plain black coffee is $5 which is more than it costs if I went to starbucks. They also charge a $3 charge for credit cards which I've never seen before. Food 3.5/5 - Food was solid but I don't think was justified by the price. I enjoyed their waffle and oatmeal but their chilaquiles lacked flavor and we got the red ones. The coffee was also just a normal pot of coffee so I think the price doesn't necessarily justify it.
