Last weekend during the PPA tournament, I had three meals at the 20th Hole and it did not disappoint! Upon arrival, my daughter and I had lunch here... It was a Thursday afternoon. The hostess seated us promptly (with luggage in tow). The restaurant is pretty spacious, so that worked out just fine. We enjoyed our food (a cobb salad for me and a burger for her). Janessa was our server and she was lovely and attentive. We then made a reservation for a larger group for that Saturday evening and Kyle and Mia helped us out... The reservation needed adjustment last minute due to a change in schedule that day and after multiple phone calls, they were able to accommodate that change. Note: it seems there is not a direct phone number to the restauarant so I had to work with someone in the hotel lobby for this. Interestingly enough, we ended up having dinner here on Friday as well with a large group. Huge thanks to Kyle and staff for working with us that evening... We worked out a large group order to-go but sat down for our drinks. Need to know: Due to Utah Liquor laws, adults who are drinking alcoholic beverages must be seated... that was a new fun fact I learned when making the reservation. On Saturday night, the restaurant had a bit of a condensed menu and they were out of salmon, which was a bit disappointing, but after having 3 meals here, we do recommend the wings, nachos, and burgers. The area in the back of the restaurant with games including ping pong is great for the kids and there is also a grassy area out back too. I know that this restaurant is fairly new and working out the kinks... I look forward to returning in the future as I know it will continue to get better. read more

We had a pretty disappointing experience at the 20th Hole sports bar. Earlier in the week, I stopped in to make a reservation for a group of 8 for my husband's birthday. I specifically mentioned that we were hoping to watch Supercross, and I was assured that wouldn't be a problem. However, when we arrived at our reserved time, we were told they would "look into" changing the channel because they weren't sure they could access Peacock. We decided to stay, ordered drinks and appetizers, and checked in multiple times with our waiter. Each time, we were told they were still working on it. After waiting for over an hour, we were finally told they couldn't put it on after all. The most frustrating part is that we would have completely understood if they had told us upfront. We could have made other plans and gone somewhere that could accommodate our request. Instead, we spent a significant part of the evening waiting and hoping, which took away from what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. Afterward, I noticed similar feedback from other guests about difficulties getting channels changed, even when it seemed possible. That was disappointing to see and makes it feel like this may be a recurring issue. The service itself was polite, but better communication and follow-through would have made a big difference in our experience. read more

We enjoyed everything about our recent overnight stay at Black Desert Resort with the exception of one thing; our bizarre visit to 20th Hole. We saw the online advertisement for their Monday Night Football offer of picking a team to win and then competing in a drawing for a hat or an hour of golf simulation. Seemed like fun but when we walked in, we were surprised to see an empty restaurant with the exception of two or three other couples. At times there were more staff than patrons. No mention of the promotion to be found. We sat down and ordered drinks and popcorn from our waitress. The place has multiple TVs everywhere you look, however the audio was turned off which we found strange. We noticed two groups of people walk in, survey the surroundings and walk back out. We were still fine with everything until we experienced the absolute worst service from the female bartender that we've ever had. Like I mentioned, the place was practically empty but it took the bartender forever to make our drinks. Even my beer took a very long time to get. The bartender busied herself on her phone and talking to other employees while we sat there waiting for our drinks. Things came to a head when my wife ordered her favorite drink; a Mai Tai. When our apologetic waitress brought it to her, she took a sip and almost spit it out. I thought she might have been overreacting so I took a sip and couldn't believe what I had just tasted. It was horrid and in no way resembled anything close to a Mai Tai. At this point we were just going to tap out, pay the tab and go back to our room when the manager came over to ask how things were. I smiled and sheepishly said it wasn't going well and mentioned the (lack of) service and the terrible drink. We're in our 60's and have never returned a meal or drink ever. If it's disappointing we pay for it regardless and simply don't return. He offered to take the drink back and take it off of our bill which I thanked him for. It was then that we experienced yet another first...he returned the drink to the bartender who immediately became livid and started staring down my wife. She got so animated that the manager had to tell her to calm down. We paid our tab, assured our waitress that none of this was her fault, and decided against ordering dinner. (DoorDash saved the night.) As I mentioned, everything else, from the resort to the staff to our lunch at Latitude was phenomenal with Hole 20 being the glaring exception. This is truly one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at! My group stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had dinner here each evening. From the moment we entered the establishment the hostess had a huge smile and was so kind. I wish I remember her name, she was blonde with blue eyes and was there all 3 evenings. Our servers were also amazing, I wish we remembered their names too ! Each one went above and beyond to provide the best service. They enjoyed making conversation and had great recommendations. The food was epic. Amazing flavor. Beautiful display. Great portions. The only problem was we would get too full and couldn't finish everything! We really wanted to compliment the chefs as everything about the food was amazing. We did not have one single complaint about the food all 3 evenings. One day we were planning to hike at Zion National Park and asked the server if we can order 5 blackened chicken sandwiches to take with us and they accomodated with no problem. It was the perfect meal to have with us on our hike in the narrows! If I could recommend anything it would probably be the buffalo wings and the blackened chicken sandwich, but truly anything you order will be great (speaking from experience as we ordered almost the entire menu)! The green tee twist and the Daou rosé were also great for a vacation evening. The views of the rocks/mountains were also incredible. We will 100% be back, this place made our stay absolutely amazing! read more

We stopped by this restaurant to grab a quick bite to eat and check out the new resort. It was a pleasant surprise. The menu is pretty limited but food is good. It's more of a sports bar so the quality of food was really good for this type of establishment. I had the Panzanella which I added chicken. It had sourdough croutons, mozzarella mini pieces, arugula and a vinaigrette. This was big enough for a meal and very good. My husband had the bison burger with salt and vinegar fries. He said it was excellent. We finished off our meal with the chocolate turtle cake. Very nice place for a quick bite. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

We live near this resort and decided to give it a try. They ask for your last name before you get seated (weird) and the server immediately asks if you are staying at the resort. I'm sure that they have an official reason for these questions, but by the end of our visit it seemed like they do not want locals darkening their door, even when the place is nearly empty. It's a new building with a lot of glass and concrete, quite clean, with lots of TV screens. The music was loud, but not to the point where we couldn't converse, so that was fine. The view was of the parking lot and buildings in the distance, not as much of the red rocks as I expected. The seating was comfortable. The service was friendly and prompt. We declined to order cocktails because we don't drink, so we got soft drinks and two hamburgers. The soft drinks were almost all ice, with barely any product. The soda was a bit flat, but the iced tea was tasty and from a very clean urn. About halfway through our hamburgers, two more soft drinks arrived at our table. We assumed that these were complimentary, given that we did not ask for them. They were also almost all ice. The burgers were decent, nothing extraordinary, and the fries and tots were above average. When the bill arrived it seemed high. Turns out that we were charged $5 for each soda and $4 for each iced tea. Yes, the overpriced soft drinks did not include free refills. The total bill was $60, $18 of which was mainly ice. OK, we get it - this is a bar. If you aren't going to drink, they're going to stiff you on soft drinks. A huge proportion of locals in Utah abstain from alcohol, so if you are among them, you probably want to avoid this place. Did I speak to a manager about this? No, I don't have the energy to discuss your pricing strategy with you. The next time we want a burger and fries, we will dine elsewhere for half the price. Come to think of it, the view will be better, too. read more

Swung by here for the first half of the Super Bowl, Feb 2025 at the recommendation of our hotel. Bartender was great. Food was great and beverage was great. The resort was still under construction and the bar was near empty and quiet. It was nice to be able to have our pick of seats and I would come here again if I want to be at an upscale bar. read more

The fish and chips with vinegar fries are a standout, and the nachos are big enough for four to share. The banana pudding is a 10/10 treat, and the nitro lemonade is deliciously tart. The golf simulators are easy to use and a lot of fun for groups, and the menu overall has plenty of great options. read more

We stopped at the 20th hole at the Black Desert Resort for a drink and light dinner at 7:00 pm. Sadly we were quite disappointed. Being a local it's obvious that Black Desert has no interest in having us there. 1) Way overpriced! $80 for a bottle of wine that in the liquor store costs $23.00 2) $20 for a 5oz glass of wine 3) $8 for a Modelo bottle of beer 4) Chopped Salad that wasn't a chopped salad. Spicy dressing not mentioned on the menu. My wife couldn't eat it. 5) Menu shows none of the beers that are on tap even though almost all are Utah beers. 6) The server was totally untrained in both the food & beverage menu. He couldn't pronounce the bottle of wine and had to hand me the tap beer menu because he had no clue as to what any of the beers were. I felt sorry for him. Some actual F&B training would be called for before they put someone on the floor. I doubt we'll go back :-( read more

As Red Mountain Resort guests they shuttled us to this restaurant to try it out. We did not have a reservation for a Sun night sports bar and one was needed! (Let that be a lesson for any who reads this!) We stood at the front door for almost an hour (we were told it would be a 30-45 min. wait). There was no place to sit and wait...Plenty of empty tables but was never offered the opportunity to get off our feet while we waited....and waited...and waited. This place could use a lesson in total quality mgt. Once seated, it took another 10 mins to get to order our appetizers/drinks -we started with nachos to share however our margaritas didn't arrive till after we'd already finished the nachos! I can say that the food and drink were decent and we took their highly recommended bread pudding to go (which was delish) but their lack of staff and service put a damper on the whole experience. I've been to the restaurant about ten times so far and tried almost everything on the menu. The wings are the best in town and the burgers sandwiches are money. They just added shakes and they are unreal. The vibe is awesome with indoor trackman bays and sports playing on tvs everywhere. Each week it gets better as the resort evolves but it's a great place to eat and hang out. read more
