The ambiance was absolutely stunning! Very modern and upscale. Outside perimeter tables have fallsview. The filet was cooked perfect and the red wine sauce was full of flavor. The crème brûlée was very nice portion and absolutely delicious. The cappuccino and crème brûlée were accompanied by a biscotti. Takes a little walking through the casino to get to the restaurant but it was absolutely gorgeous once inside. The athletics ate top tier and the service was lovely as well. I cane to celebrate my new engagement with my fiancé and we enjoyed our meal. She had the wagyu which she enjoyed. Pros: Comfortable seating inside and there is a patio with a view of the falls. Dinner menu lights up which makes it very easy to see even when the lights in the restaurant is dim. Cons: Food is a little overpriced as it is usually the case at casino restaurants. Overall, the food is not bad but nothing to be excited about. We ordered the 100% grass fed angus rib eye steak (medium rare) $67. I had high hopes for it only until I cut it up and found it was over-cooked. The server didn't ask us how did the food taste like they normally would. We had a show to go to so I didn't bother to ask them to change it. We made a reservation 3 weeks in advance calling to the casino customer service line, we were 2 adults and 2 kids. On the phone they even asked us if we needed booster chairs. When we came for dinner and entered the hotel proceeding to the "guard" lady, she started to scream at our kids "you back up right now". The rudest old lady ever. She behaved like our kids had some disease that spreads through the air. Apparently we couldn't get to our dinner because you can't walk to the restaurant without bypassing a casino somehow. Shame on the management of the casino and the restaurant who allow these types of situation happen. Old time rules. Rude guards. It's like an 18th century set up. It should be some outside entrance or kids friendly walk to the restaurant. And obviously casino customer line who book the reservations should be train better. Every so often we drop by 21 and have a nice family dinner, especially when my brother gets $$$ from the casino The food was okay. We got the 1. Seared Scallops: overall juicy and tender but not worth $24 for 2. Great to try but not if you want something a little more filling 2. Clam Chowder: amazing. This is always a must get. They pour the chowder from a kettle into a dish that already has your seafood. A must get. 3. Clams $ Mussels: this is a hit or miss. This time was a miss. Although there's plenty of both, they were all very small and was not properly cleared of sand. The garlic bread that accompanies the dish is a must try. 4. Caesar Salad: literally a salad you could go into Fortinos and pick up from their boxed salad section. Entrees 1. Rib Eye: perfectly done with a red wine sauce on the side. The outside was perfectly marinated and very filling. 2. Prime Rib: I loved this. The meat was so tender and juicy. They have shredded garlic? Radish? On the side and it complements the meat so well. The sauce was a little too overwhelming for me but good in small doses. The service was excellent. Our server Michael went above and beyond to take care of our table. When we were leaving and paying our bill he realized we overpaid because my brother had a voucher for the restaurant attached to the card but we paid extra in cash because we thought we owed. My girlfriend and I chose to come here as our plan-B dinner location and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The host, waitress, and wine connoisseur were all very helpful and kind. As an unexperienced champagne drinker, the wine connoisseur helped a lot with choosing a bottle to purchase. We chose to split the 40-Day Dry Aged Tomahawk Steak due to it's fairly large size (34-40oz). It was cooked medium-rare and was the best steak we have ever had. We were so happy to have ordered it. It is totally worth the $100. For sides we ordered the Mac & Cheese with Niagara Gold and the Steamed Broccolini mixed with Spicy Chili Butter. The Mac & Cheese was unreal. It had a crispy layer of cheese on top and the rest was rich and creamy. As for the broccolini, the Spicy Chili Butter that soaked into the florets had a nice amount spiciness and saltiness which made them absolutely delicious. Overall, the restaurant had really nice decor, great staff, and outstanding food. My girlfriend and I enjoyed every bite of what we ate. 21 Club is located upstairs in the VIP section of Fallsview Casino. You have to enter through the Noodle Bar. Nicely appointed with great colours and of course a view of the falls. Pricey menu obviously influenced by the casino clientele. Wine menu has hundreds of choices including a $10K+ bottle! Food - Very good choice with lots of steak and seafood options. Started with a bread/roll variety basket that included some nice jalapeno cornbread pieces as the highlight. Chose the East Coast Oyster selection for a dozen. They were fresh and tasty with a couple of choices for hot sauce or a shallot mix. Went with the prime rib with mashed, yorkshire pudding and veggie. Not that impressed with it. Ordered medium rare and came out medium+. Not very juicy or tender... in fact Keg Prime Rib is definitely better and I would not expect that for the prices. Had some Cranberry Gelati for dessert which was quite good. Service - Knowledgeable and attentive servers. Environment - Upscale casual+ and adult only. Good for groups or couples. First off I want to complement our server. She told us she was new several times and was very nice. With any of the issues we had she was quick to bring in back up to help. This happened when I ordered the special Deluxe Cosmopolitan that didn't resemble a Cosmo at all. Frankly it was a pulpy orange Juice centric drink that was not pink or appetizing, I could not even taste the vodka or the special liquor over the orange juice. Ironically just as I was questioning the drink a waiter whizzed passed me with a frothy looking cosmopolitan that looked great, I even quipped that it might've been my actual drink. But when I pointed it out and that This drink was wasn't what I expected and was less than happy with it, nothing was done. 21 is an expensive restaurant in a casino, so I would've thought that customer service would have been paramount. I ordered the foie gras that was very expensive (I wanted to splurge on a special treat) and not worth the price because it was overcooked. It was served with two extremely dry and overcooked pieces of chicken liver on top. The dish plated with green grapes and such in a nice circle but could've used more sauce to add balance. As I'm writing this I sound spoiled... Perhaps I am but it is what it is. It was unacceptable to serve dry overcooked foie gras for this price. I've had it presented so much better for half the price in little bistros. I frankly would've thought 21 would've done a better job. My husband and I shared a ribeye steak that was cooked well (med-rare) And nicely seasoned. We enjoyed our steak and cream spinach but it was nothing special. After my lame Cosmo I wanted one glass of nice Chardonnay. Four stars for the great food that was well presented both verbally by the waiter (we ordered 2 of the specials) as well as on the plates. I ordered grilled fish paired with sautéed purple potatoes, parsnips and asparagus over puréed carrots. Boyfriend had the larger prime rib served with horseradish, a potato and a popover. To drink, we ordered a half bottle of a Niagara wine (Hernder Estates) but the bottle was smaller so they left us the whole thing. It was very good and paired well with both of our meals. I also liked the fact that they carried local wines, it's nice for local businesses to support one another and introduce visitors to the wines of the Niagara region too. :) Overall I really liked the 21 Club, the quality of the food was great and our waiter and wine expert were both very knowledge. Docking a star for the music though. It ranged from relaxing contemporary, piano (both fitting for the atmosphere) to awkwardly emotional pop(?) to dub step... Plus I felt like there was a speaker right above my head because once the dub step came on it was so loud, and actually uncomfortable and almost hard to hear my boyfriend sitting across from me. Good luck finding the place; it took the wife and I about 45 minutes of bright blinking lights, slot machines and unhappy looking old people before we found the entrance. I'm sure that's all by design. I had the Canadian Prime Rib Eye. Now, I know what you're thinking... What could Canada possible know about raising cows to be deliciously marbled and decadently tender? Well, they apparently know quite a bit, and 21 Club's grilled rib eye flaunts that fact. I also had the mushrooms to go with it. I had a system going where I would cut a piece of steak with a knife, fork up a couple mushrooms, fork the steak, then repeat. Knife, fork, fork, eat, repeat... Knife, fork, fork, eat, repeat... At some point I screwed up and tried to cut the steak with my fork and it worked! Steak so tender you can cut it with a fork. The service here is spectacular to go with the great food. Not to mention the view you get from the restaurant overlooking one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The overall prices, which are if anything are in Canadian and there is a decent exchange rate for us big, fat Americans, are modestly expensive. Don't be a fool like me and accidentally order a $24 dollar glass of wine (seems to happen more than I'd like to admit). On a final note, 21 Club doesn't allow children. So, leave you're snot-nosed-little-brats in your car in the parking lot, which is where you likely had them anyways on account of the fact that you were probably in the casino. read more

Superb! The restaurant is tucked up in one of the corners of the casino but well signposted. The decor is funky and soft lighting, soft enough the menu lights up when you receive it. I had to get the wagyu steak, it was $24 a ounce but worth every cent. I got the potato purée & asparagus as a side, the purée was great & the asparagus was locally grown and exceptional, white and green. Dessert was a deconstructed pavlova, now where I'm from we don't add custard & I don't like it so it was a disappointment the meringues were sitting on custard but it was still amazing. The staff were really attentive and nice, bit chatty too. The atmosphere was wonderful & when the fireworks went off at the falls you could see it. Definitely worth going! read more

I hate casinos and the restaurants in them because they are usually so pushy to get you in and out and it's more about eat and go than the experience. However, I was extremely pleased with my experience here. First off, the restaurant is modern and cool when you first walk in. Then you see the view! Most seats are exposed to the falls and at night it's such a gorgeous site to see while you are dining. Make sure to ask for a Falls front view when you make the reservation. Then the staff, maybe it's because all Canadians are so so soo extremely unusually nice, or maybe we just got lucky but from the hostess who took our reservation to our waiter, everyone was amazing and majorly accommodating! So refreshing! And for the food, amazing! The scallops to start were cooked perfectly with mushroom and bacon to compliment. Delicious! The waiter recommended an amazing cut that was a good generous sized filet mignon. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. And for the mash just delusion and light. The Mac and cheese was delicious too! Then dessert we got the trio and the cremme brûlée was incredible!! I would recommend either one on the menu. Overall terrific and everyone should enjoy this steak house if visiting Niagara Falls. For a busy casino, this restaurant has great service and excellent food. We were a big group and the service did not miss a beat. The menu was set due to the group size of about 30 people. And the food was brought to us nice and warm and it was impeccable. I had a shrimp cocktail for starters. For the main I had baked halibut with some apple sides mixed with potatoes. It was baked just right and very tasty. Some of the group had steak and they enjoyed it as well. All in all, good meal and service in the Fallsview casino. We will go back. read more

Upscale steakhouse at the Fallsview Casino. Had a nice kettle braised clam and mussel appetizer followed by a Black Tajima wagyu steak from Japan. Also terrific panko onion rings. Wine pairings suggested by the bartender were perfect. The desserts were by an IKA bronze medalist (Google that if you don't understand how impressive that is.) and beyond phenomenal. Warning: Prententious. This was the 3rd best steakhouse meal I've ever had. Taking the 1 spot is Las Vegas' Carnevino and the riserva steak, and taking the 2nd spot is Las Vegas' kobe steak at CUT. In that company... 3rd place isn't bad. Some might call it high praise. I had the Canadian Prime 20 oz ribeye here, and it was out of control delicious. Easily the best meal I've had in quite some time. It was paired with the truffle mac and cheese, the mushrooms, and an excellent local riesling. My wife had the Canadian Prime filet mignon, and that was also delicious. My steak was wonderfully marbled, cooked a *perfect* medium rare with a fantastic sear, and I sent my major compliments to the steak master in the kitchen. I was blown away, and I'll almost certainly be crossing the border for another epic dinner at 21 Club when I'm celebrating something. The ambiance was great, the chairs were comfortable, and I'd give this place my highest recommendation to anybody visiting Niagara Falls. A+! read more

We rarely treat ourselves to a "fine dining" experience. When we booked our vacation to Niagara Falls, our reservation here was one of the first activities we secured. We were really looking forward to it. Perhaps that is part of the reason why we were underwhelmed. The staff was very nice and courteous. The view was beautiful, the decor lovely. The music choice was a bit odd (they played pop, country, oldies ). We both ordered steak, the potato purée, and the macaroni and cheese. My husband chose the steak sauce, I chose the bearnaise. I added sea scallops to my steak as well. The food was out promptly, which surprised us. Our steaks were cooked fine, they were moist and flavorful, but the sauces weren't very good. The steak sauce tasted like barbecue sauce, and I used the bearnaise to give the mashed potatoes some flavor. The macaroni and cheese was our favorite thing. The scallops were cooked well, had a nice sear in them. Overall, we did not feel we got our money's worth. Don't know that we'd ever try it again. read more

We came in 20 minutes before closing time after a 10 hour drive and we werent expecting much, but the hospitality and quality of the experience blew us away. Very reasonable prices, views overlooking the falls, variety in meat cuts, i had a rib eye while my brother had a prime rib and both were 10/10. The sides were amazing, especially the mac & cheese. Simply put, this place just kicks ass!!! First of all, it is quiet because they don't allow kids. Thank GOD!!! We sat at the bar and were served by Kelly. He was an excellent bar tender and pushed us on the right choices on the menu. We started with the clam chowder. When is clam chowder worth $19? When it is this damn good. Not just clams, but scallops and a jump shrimp. The presentation of it makes it worth the price. You'll see when you make your order. Next we had the seafood tower. Mussels, clams, oysters, lobster tail, and crab legs. AWESOME!! Everything was done to perfection. We ended with the apple crumble. Get the pumpkin ice cream. What a finish. This restaurant is located inside the Casino, which eliminated the child aspect. The menu is intimidating due to prices. Although when you consider all of your other options in Niagara Falls, it is completely reasonable and you get superior food that equals the price. Clam Chowder for $18. WELL WORTH IT. Our mojito was really water with vodka, which was awful but it's a nice experience I guess... Buns were good Bad: waited 2 hours for meal which would be expected since 6 of us got steaks cooked differently (from medium rare to medium well) but all 6 steaks came out as medium well. Didn't complain because we were there for 2 hours and really really hungry. Probably wouldn't go back if it was up to me. Went for a birthday and would go back if I was expected to for another event. The elevator is a service elevator with employees running in and out. The menu states selection of oysters but they only had 1 type tonight. We asked how many scallops come in the appetizer and we're informed 3. But when they brought it out there was 2. When we brought up that we expected 3 since there were 3 of us they suggested we cut one in half. The Mac and cheese had burned bread crumbs on top. The Yorkshire pudding that's came out was dry. The red wine sauce tasted scalded and had a skin on it. We told the waitress about it and she brought out fresh Yorkshire. But it was stone cold. When was asked about it she said they pre make it during they day. Not at all what we expected at a supposedly nice steakhouse. Won't be back. Go to any of the others in Niagara instead. read more

My buddies and I switched to the 21 club for our 8th annual Niagara guys trip "Saturday night dinner", having spent the past 7 years at The Keg in the embassy. (Check the separate review for that dysfunctional restaurant) I will say this first -- the 21 club is a better dining experience, for the money. Most importantly, our reservation time was honored. We arrived right on time and sat immediately. The waiting staff was also super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the fact they spaced out our salads/appetizers from dinner, and took time to stop by to pour more wine. 5 stars on service. In terms of food, the steak (Canadian guelph, organic) was a great cut, welll cooked, and cut without much effort, but I definitely wasn't a big fan of the 21 club sauce -- it was closer to BBQ sauce than steak sauce. I would have much more preferred A1. Sides (Brussels and risotto) were just OK. Brussels were solid, but risotto was quite average. 3 stars on sides. 4 stars on steak. I also could have gone without the electronic wine list. I found it confusing and hard to navigate. I'd rather look at everything you have to offer on a few pages of paper, but did like that I could get a half bottle for myself, since my buddies didn't want any wine. In terms of the atmosphere, I thought they could do better by dimming the dining area and bringing more candle light to individual tables. I think that would help the Falls stand out a bit more -- which any restaurant in this area should focus on. (And something the keg does well). Nobody wants to talk about it, but bathrooms were 5 star worthy. 4 stars overall on the atmosphere. I'd come back, but looking for a bit more on my next food experience. No 21 sauce. The view is nice, though my experience with the food was that it was no better, if not worse than some of the other places I'd been to in the Niagara Falls, ON area and at a much higher price. Our waiter was very nice, and showed us to an area with a very nice view after our meal. Though for a place with such good ratings, I'd expect things to be clean, I couldn't say that about the seating/booths here unfortunately and I am certainly not one to be picky.
