    Brisket Sandwich!! Omg, delicious!
    Ann Marie F.

This place was an unexpected (for me) delight! Bestie is moving into the 'hood... and the smell made us pull in! And it did not disappoint! The brisket sandwich was enormous! The pics don't do it justice! We ate every bit, don't you worry! Table mate for the brisket tacos! Delicious on their own... but add some spicy 210 sauce! Oh Lord it was amazing. The black beans had chunks of brisket, and an amazing zing/flavor! Definitely going back foe those. It is approximately 2 blocks from Bestie's new house... we will be back! We asked What 210 signifies.... Owner said: it's the temp he cooks at! LOVE a place with meaning!!

BBQ black beans: there's meat in every bite!

210 degrees must be the perfect temperature in pig heaven... It sure turns out heavenly meat! I ordered the rib and brisket combo, and I'm still coming down from a BBQ high. The ribs were the moistest I've ever seen, it was like eating Pork Candy. The brisket was a little chewy, but super flavorful. The meats are so tasty, you don't need sauce, but they offer 2 house-made options for those who must add a little. DON'T LEAVE without the BBQ black beans!! A meaty new twist on an old favorite that will become your new favorite side dish. If you are a bark lover, this is your spot! The location is a quaint attraction itself, with a lovely outdoor patio area. This place is the best reason to go to Bayport on Thursdays and Fridays.

My kid loved his ribs on their open air patio (with plenty of space)

We were the first ones in at 11am on a Saturday. Great patio in back. Food was great! The beans and burnt ends were my favorites, and my six year old put down an entire half rack of ribs. If that's not a great endorsement I don't know what is. And the prices are downright reasonable on top of it. If you like BBQ, check this place out!

This was full and our grouped polished it off! So tasty!

This awesome family owned bbq place is absolutely AMAZING!! We stopped in and the owner and son greeted us with joy and recommended yummy items! We highly recommend! And when asking my dad if he would rate this place a 5 he said NO a 6!! Support small business because this place blows franchise BBQ out of the water!!

I've had barbecue all over the United States, and I can honestly say I've never craved BBQ the way I crave Big Guys. The platter is the absolute way to go. You get to try a little bit of everything, and there is so much food that you'll have meals for days afterward. The ribs are perfect, the brisket is unbelievably tender, and the chicken is fantastic with their sauce. My personal favorite is the pulled pork. It is NEVER dry, has an incredible smoky flavor, and has that perfect smoky BBQ flavor that keeps me coming back. And do yourself a favor and ALWAYS get the mac and cheese. It is perfect, and the noodles aren't overcooked, which is a huge win in my book. The spicy Szechuan green beans have the perfect amount of heat, the waffle fries are great, and the baked beans are just ridiculously delicious. The sausage and cornbread are also excellent. But then there's the candied bacon. Honestly, the candied bacon alone is good enough to make me crawl across the river from Minnesota. It is the thickest, longest bacon, coated in absolute perfection. It's not overly sweet, has an incredible rub, and is completely addictive. If you're only going to try one thing beyond the BBQ, make it the candied bacon. The ambiance is always fun, too. There's plenty of seating, a great bar, and the drinks are affordable, which makes it an easy place to hang out and enjoy yourself. The staff is always fun, friendly, and great, which just adds to the experience. And if you somehow still have room for dessert, get the bread pudding. It will put you in a coma, but in the best possible way. It is THAT good and absolutely worth ordering. Big Guys just does BBQ differently. Everything has so much flavor, the portions are generous, and you can tell there's real care put into the food. No one does BBQ like Big Guys. I would drive across state lines for this place without thinking twice. If you love BBQ, put Big Guys on your list. And if you don't love BBQ, go anyway because this place might change your mind. 10/10. One of the best BBQ spots I've ever had, and 100% worth the drive.

It was absolutely worth the trip. Before the food arrived, I had the chance to chat with the owner, who shared that much of the lumber in the restaurant came from his family's farm. That small conversation told me a lot about the place. It feels authentic, welcoming, and built with care. As someone who loves BBQ, I know competition BBQ and restaurant BBQ are very different. The owner comes from a competition background, and he has clearly mastered the restaurant side. I ordered the turkey melt because turkey is one of the best tests of a smoker. No sauce needed. The smoke was spot on, the avocado balanced it perfectly, and my wife's brisket sandwich was excellent. The surprise star of the meal was the green beans. At a BBQ restaurant, that's not something I expected to say, but our entire group loved them and we're still talking about them. The seating was great for our large group, the prices were fair, and the atmosphere was lively. Most impressive of all, the servers were fantastic from start to finish. Every person in our group enjoyed every bite. We came because of the bacon basket. We'll be back because of everything else.

He suggested Old Southern BBQ that was just around the corner from the hotel. We walked in and the place was spotless and smelled wonderful! We walked up to the counter and the first thing I seen was a young lady cutting slices of the most juiciest brisket I have ever seen at a restaurant. I knew immediately what I was going to order even before looking at the menu. While looking at the overhead menu a very nice gentleman approached us and handed us a menu and gave some suggestions for dinner. I ordered some of that incredible looking brisket. I usually order a sample platter when I go to someplace new so I can taste a variety of meats, but that brisket looked too good. So I got the brisket platter with the corn muffin top, Jimmie beans, and I also got the roasted creamed corn. The brisket didn't disappoint. It was amazing! Very juicy, just a little fat on the top of the slice that added to the flavor. I can't say enough about the brisket. The beans had chunks of meat in it and was also amazing! The roasted creamed corn was delicious too. My wife had the bbq chicken tacos. She loved them. Nice flour tortillas with lettuce, cheese, and a nice helping of smoked chicken. There were several sauces on the table. I tried them all, but I can't really say which one was the best. The brisket was so good that I didn't need to use sauce. I just dabbed a small bite into each sauce to try them. To sum it up. If you're in the area, stop and try Old Southern BBQ. It really is that
