The kids really enjoyed their visit. I felt prices were a bit high but can't really find too many places like this so it is what it is. The flavors and options were cool though. Bright colorful walls with pictures of the ice cream and items, music blaring and metal table and chairs. Service was fine. Atmosphere was ok. Product was pretty good. If my kids were writing this review it would be different. But as a Dad who couldn't find much to order and wasn't expecting to pay for ice cream what I would pay for dinner, it was just ok. I tried this place about you're going this summer and I never went back and here's the list of reasons why... Number one - for the prices I didn't think that the ice cream was worth what they were charging by any means there are so much better ice cream places that you could go have quality, ice cream or quality, custard or quality gelato for the same price or even less sometimes. Number two - it smelled really funky in there like a mildew type smell like a mildew/moldy shower, nasty smell. It was just gross like when I walked in , and not for nothing milk products give me out a bit although I do love ice cream, but I just know when they milk cows there's a lot of pasta that comes out and what not and I know that they do screen it out or whatever they do when they pasteurized the milk, but just knowing that it was in there to begin with just kind of gives me skeevats- in a major way, so that being said the last thing I want to smell is something foul when I'm about to eat a milk product whether it be ice cream or cheese or anything with milk any dairy product I don't wanna smell anything that smells like hot open butt on a summer day right before I eat a dairy product. Maybe it's just me. I don't know, but yeah yuck. Number three - this kind of goes with the number two, but I felt that the cleanliness of the store wasn't really up to par for a place that I'm gonna be eating, especially during the summer between some of the smell of the place and then the stickiness of the table, it just really made the experience even worse for me personally even if it would've been good ice cream, I don't think I would've been able to enjoy it and give it a good rating just because of the cleanliness of the establishment on this particular day who knows maybe it was a bad day. I don't know I didn't wanna go back after that, but I mean they could be immaculate store for all I know, but on the particular day that I went it was gross. Number four the atmosphere for me it just wasn't really a relaxing or a fun place to eat ice cream. It was more of a maybe take it to go type atmosphere because you just didn't wanna sit there between the sticky tables in between the loud 98.5 music blasting not that I have an issue 98.5 music but I ain't trying to really listen to heartbeats blasting in my ears really loud while I'm sitting in a sticky table in the heat while smelling mildew and eating a basic ice cream cone for me that's just not really good atmosphere and I understand that it's more of a kid place or family place not really an adult place so I do get that and I guess for a kid they might really like the cheesy type decorations, but for me it was a no, though it was just one more thing that I was not impressed with. read more

This place is really cool. The colors and the style is very inviting and interesting. Most of the items are normal nothing special. However 3 items did stand out the cucumber lime smoothie is delicious and flavorful. The oreo funnel cake is really good but needs more vanilla to balance off the hot and cold effect. The waffle sundae is a fun treat with the fresh strawberries. The oreo milkshake is a basic shake. The nachos are basic something easy to make. The preparados are good but could use more chile because the cheese is on point but the chile gets lost from the other flavors. I've always loved this place, BUT I have recently went and they changed the ice cream for there fresonadas, plus prices have gone up. I've been very disappointed with the new ice cream quality. I first saw 210 Ice Cream while I driving around running some errands. I love the 210 and Ice Cream so it seemed like a solid choice to stop at. I've visited 210 Ice Cream a few more times since my initial visit and overall it is a solid option for a sweet treat or another snack you may be craving. On each of my visits I ordered a sweet dessert: Cookies & Cream shake, Chocolate Shake and a Caramel Sundae. All of these orders were really good and definitely satisfied my cravings. My Cookies and Cream Shake was a little icy/watery (as if the ice cream had some freezer burn that was then blended up). The only other thing to note is the location (inside and outside/parking lot) is pretty small. Parking may be a little difficult depending on which side of Bandera you are coming from. Additionally, if you are bringing a big group or family it may be a tight squeeze depending on what time you go. read more

I love this place so I was surprised the raitings were meh. I scrolled through the bad ones and they cited spoiled food, explicit music, and sticky floors and tables. I can verify the music and the sticky floors and tables. I've never gotten spoiled food... but I come for junk food and Italian ice / sherbet not the fruit ^.^' I usually go to Los Cocos for fruit. I once ordered mango there and they told me "no the mangos are no good so we turned them all away." After that I only go to that one location for fruit since I know they have standards much greater than greed. That stated... here at 210 stick to the sherbets like the mangodilly and the chamodilly. I like sour so I get the chopped pickles on it. They also dress it with sour strips which is super fun. Then they also put a paper plate in the back so you don't spill when you scoop. It really hits the spot. I stick with the small since it's bigger than my brain freezes and quite satisfying. I've also tried their snow cones... I've gotten the one with the gummy bears multiple times. It reminds me of the trash can punch in college with soaked gummy bears at the bottom. It's yummy but I recently went to 210 and got a similar version a day or two later at Bahama bucks and Bahama Bucks really had much softer snow. I doubt I will buy the snow here again but it's still yummy... just not soft. So I won't swear it off completely. Lastly is my latest obsession... the Preparados... they take your favorite bag of chips and dump in corn, queso, queso fresco, jalapeños, and Valentina. It is SSOOOOOOoooo good. I originally got the conchita (it's like Fritos) preparados. It was delicious but I thought I'd ask if they'd do it with hot Cheetos. On the menu they have hot Cheetos with cheese but not preparados. So I asked today and she clarified "w/ cheese?" ... I said "no, the preparados like the conchitas but with hot Cheetos instead... can we do that?" She said "sure" and rang me up for the Tostitos preparados but then made it with hot Cheetos. Ohhhh.... It's going to be an ongoing obsession. The corn is sweet. The queso is buttery. The Cheetos are crunchy with a touch of heat. The queso fresco is fresh and cooling. The jalapeños are briney. And then the Valentina give a slight kick and a touch of acid. It's so good... it's also nice to know that they'll be happy to do it with whatever chips you like. I will say the conchitas was crunchier so I don't know how committed I am to hot Cheetos. So... I wouldn't recommend going to the bathroom there. I've never been but it doesn't strike me as buckees clean. Expect sticky... it's been sticky about 30% of the time so your odds are good but there's a material chance that a table or the floor will be sticky. Stick to the sherbet+dilly and the preparados + whatever chips you like. My kids like the brownie sundae and the Oreo milkshake and they recommend that you ask for a spoon because the milk shake is extra thick. read more

My sandidilly looked great and tasted awesome BUT I order a fruit cup of watermelon and it was spoiled!! The photos were barely taken 30 minutes after buying it. I drove home without opening the container and checking which was my fault. If I would've seen that they weren't fresh, I would've asked for a refund prior to leaving. It's summertime. It's HOT in San Antonio, and you NEED something to cool down. If you're against public pools (like I am), 210 Ice Cream is one of the best alternatives to wading in purple water around the city. It'a s popular place, be prepared that there will probably be a line inside the store when you get there; but, that line is only a symbol of a delicious product. People only tend to wait in like for the good stuff. I've been to this location several times in the past, and I've never been disappointed with anything I've tasted. Everything is amazing! They have all of those character ice creams we used to get from the ice cream truck when we were kids. They have all the Mexican snacks you crave. For me, it's nachos! I really can't stress how good the quality and flavor of the food is at 210. My single qualm I have with this business is not all products on their menu boards have prices on them. The boards have the blank spot to list a price, it is just blank.
