There is no seating inside but a couple of tables sit outside. I think I counted 16 unique flavors when I visited. The cordial woman doing the scooping kindly offered tastes but my ice cream radar had already zeroed in on my choices. I chose chocolate orange and caramel salt lick. In a cup. I took a seat outside and was in heaven. Both scoops were so creamy and had bold flavor. The caramel salt lick perfectly describes it - salty caramel flavor. Have you ever had those chocolate oranges that seem to appear on store shelves around Christmas time? That's exactly how the chocolate orange ice cream tastes. But better. I wasn't looking for ice cream or any dessert, but I came across Lick while going to a fundraiser walk for MS . It was my first time on this side of Hemisfair Park. Convenient parking in the building next to Lick located on Hemisfair Blvd. It is very clean outside and inside with a warm welcoming feeling. Kat was the worker who helped me once I got in she came out greeted me and asked if I wanted to try any flavors but I knew that I wanted to try to roasted beets with fresh mint ice cream. This place was a godsend as it was located right in the middle of the Dia De Los Muertos festival grounds & all the food stalls were busy with too many people to grab a bite without burning an hour in line. Not only that, but the food operators were not small businesses but operated by the organization or company running the festival. Nothing unique about them or their offerings imho. I found this cute little creamery on Yelp while I was stuck in a crowd of people trying to navigate down the plaza. It wasn't awfully busy & I was able to pop in to sample a few flavors & walk out with a 3 scoop cup in under 5 mins. I'm trying to remember what the flavor I chose was specifically, but I want to say it was goat cheese & honey? It was fantastic whatever it was & it hit the spot on a particularly warm evening. The staff were very friendly & working hard on probably one of the busiest nights of the year. The ice cream was great & consistency between homemade ice cream & frozen custard.
