Really cute little unique spot to get ice cream on the river. 10/10 Cake Batter - This ice cream flavor was next level. I had to go back the very next day to get it again, that's how good it was! Cost $5.36 for one scoop of ice cream.

I really love the old fashioned aesthetics of this place. However it is a tiny shop, so seating is very limited. They have about two dozen flavors, and you probably won't regret whatever you choose. Also, someone help this place! There is only one poor guy tending to dozens of customers. You can see the patience thinning on the customers who have to wait 20+ mins.

Nice place to stop for dessert after a meal or snack. Outdoor tables on 2nd story balcony afford great views of the River Walk. The Covid excuse to no longer give sampler to select from many flavors is a poor reason. It's not like the sampler spoon would be re-used.

Blue Bell Ice Cream is one of my faves where you could just go to the store and buy the gallon and eat it all in a day haha. I was shocked to see a store selling the ice cream so had to stop by. Plus it's on the Riverwalk too. It's not as noticeable so do read the signs. Offering samples, I decided on the Butterfinger ice cream and on a waffle cone. It was delicious. 119/2019

Very nice ice cream! Vanilla and chocolate

If you want to get good ice cream and chocolate all in the same store for a cheap price, then this is it! The staff here are very nice and polite! The ice cream is delicious and so is the chocolate! They even have sugar free options in the chocolate section too! Highly Recommended!

I got the triple scoop with coconut, strawberry cheesecake and vanilla bean. There is a total of 31 flavors. The ice cream is not too sweet, just prefect, especially for this humid weather in Texas.

Very sweet but not creamy, dense or smooth. The exact opposite of the ice cream I enjoy. Feel disappointed.

Decent ice cream. Right on the riverwalk but have to go up a flight of stairs. Expensive ice cream but it is a tourist spot.

This shop sells fudge, truffles, candied apples, and - what I came for - ice cream! They had a lot of ice cream flavors to choose from, a least a couple dozen. The smiling young woman working behind the ice cream counter offered to give tastes, but I had already figured out which flavors I wanted. I chose two scoops in a cup, one of Cappucino Chip and the other Turtle Cheesecake. They have several tables to sit at, some along a hallway and more in a back room. I took a seat and was in awe of the huge scoops given. The Cappuccino Chip had a mild flavor (I prefer it stronger) but a fair number of tiny chocolate chips. The Turtle Cheesecake had an excellent cheesecake flavor with swirls of caramel, praline pecans, and caramel-filled mini turtles. I'm usually not fond of nuts in my ice cream but I actually enjoyed the pralines. In my humble opinion, there were too few turtles. But I still loved it. If you're in the mood for a cold, creamy treat while visiting the Alamo, you'll find this to be the perfect place to visit.

The real issue came at the cash register. The woman handling payments was, unfortunately, not kind at all. In fact, "rude" would be the most generous description. It actually took my wife about ten minutes just to complete the payment for a couple of ice creams, which felt longer than the ice cream itself took to melt. What made it even more uncomfortable was watching how she interacted with other employees. It wasn't just unprofessional--it was the kind of scene you'd expect in a low-budget psychological thriller where you start wondering if someone should call for backup. So while the ice cream itself and the front-line staff were great, the overall experience was overshadowed by the atmosphere at the register. Small, crowded, and unkind is not a combination that brings us back. We'll pass next time.

There is no seating inside but a couple of tables sit outside. I think I counted 16 unique flavors when I visited. The cordial woman doing the scooping kindly offered tastes but my ice cream radar had already zeroed in on my choices. I chose chocolate orange and caramel salt lick. In a cup. I took a seat outside and was in heaven. Both scoops were so creamy and had bold flavor. The caramel salt lick perfectly describes it - salty caramel flavor. It wasn't awfully busy & I was able to pop in to sample a few flavors & walk out with a 3 scoop cup in under 5 mins. I'm trying to remember what the flavor I chose was specifically, but I want to say it was goat cheese & honey? It was fantastic whatever it was & it hit the spot on a particularly warm evening. The staff were very friendly & working hard on probably one of the busiest nights of the year. The ice cream was great & consistency between homemade ice cream & frozen custard. A little sticky but still with that yummy grainy texture of homemade & you can tell they are using good ingredients too.
