Were given great instructions via email on how to get in and out of the house at our leisure. It was clean, quiet, and amazing. It's like old world charm and modern day had a baby. Great mixture of both decor not only at the house hit the surrounding area. GPS will take you to the front of the house at 506 Cameron Street. To access the house and parking, take a right on Pitt Street and then an immediate right on Washington Way. The back of the house has five parking spaces, feel free to park in any of the spaces in our lot. If you plan on parking, please send us your car model and license plate information.   The parking lot covers the 5 spots to the right; directly behind the house. Parking behind the house is on a first-come, first serve basis, and only one car is permitted per room. Jeff drives a large Ford Tremor and was able to get in just fine. If you need additional parking, there is a lot across the street at 517 Cameron Street or there is also street parking.   You are directed to enter through the black gate and then through the purple side door. Accessibility from Cameron Street is from the iron gate and alley in the front. All of our doors have electronic keypads. you are asked to always enter the code to lock the door when you exit the premise, and deadbolt the door behind you after entering.  When you enter the house, to the left of the purple side door is the kitchen that was once owned by George Washington. This kitchen was built in the 1700's, and the rest of the house was built around the kitchen in 1815. They encourage you to take a step back in time and check it out!  To the right of the purple door is the common space. The William Harrison Suite is up the stairs on the 3rd Floor, all rooms are labeled. All fireplaces are non-functioning and are prohibited for use.  All smoking and open flames to include candles and incense are strictly prohibited.

However, the Victorian Inn exceeded our expectations and our previous experiences, in every way! From the moment you walk in the door on day one, until you leave the Inn on the last day, Chris and Moe are very generous and gracious hosts. The Inn is charming, comfortable, clean, breakfasts are delicious, home made cookies in your suite, as well as, in the evening, Toby (the Inn's beautiful dog) is very inviting and loves attention, to contacting a local historian for our group to learn local and family history and the list goes on and on. Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! SMI is a lovely old country inn on 14 acres, I believe, with a number of different venues (indoors and out) for meetings, parties, and weddings. The rooms (7 in total) were eclectic, in a good way. All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I'm not sure when we will return to the area, but when we do, we will not hesitate to return!

A TRUE reset -- 4 days I really needed…read more I just finished a 4-day stay at Wellspring Spa and Manor and I'm already planning how to get back. From the moment I arrived, the manor itself felt like a deep exhale. It's beautiful, peaceful, and so thoughtfully kept -- the kind of place where you can actually rest. The service was exceptional. Attentive without ever being hovering. Every staff member was warm, present, and made me feel genuinely cared for the entire time. You can tell they love what they do. The breakfasts every morning were amazing -- fresh, delicious, and made with care. And I really looked forward to the evening hors d'oeuvres with wine each day. It was such a lovely ritual to wind down, enjoy a glass, and just be. I had a facial that was incredible. Truly one of the best I've ever had -- my skin is still glowing. I also had a massage that was alright. It was relaxing and professional, just didn't wow me the way the facial did, but I still left feeling relaxed. The unexpected gift were the people (guests). What I didn't expect was the community. The other guests (Haili, Drake, Karen, Gary, Olivia, Miguel and his wife/girlfriend and Jordan and her mom) were absolutely wonderful. I came for quiet rest, and a reset but meeting and connecting with such kind, interesting people was so welcome. We shared meals, wine, recommendations, stories, "adventure" and laughter.
