Personally, I think offering some of those Sunday menu options every day would make the menu much better. I was disappointed after driving over two hours to try this restaurant, but I am willing to give it another chance. Yes, it took me 39 years to return to Ezell's, but it was well worth it. While stationed there at Fort Benning back in 1986-1987 for school and my final duty assignment, a fellow soldier friend insisted on taking my wife and me to dinner. It was so delicious that I vowed to return one day. And yes, I've been back to Columbus on several occasions, but never found the time to patronize Ezell's again. This is a true sports bar with TVs everywhere--even in some of the booths--so there's not a bad seat in the house when you're there to catch a game. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of seating and a few games, including pool, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or spend the day watching sports. I stuck with the wings, and they were excellent. They offer a variety of flavors, and the ones I tried were delicious. The customer service was outstanding, with a friendly and attentive staff that made the experience even better. Parking is plentiful since it's located in a small strip mall off Manchester Expressway, which makes getting in and out easy. As a big sports fan, I'm happy to have found a place where I can enjoy great wings, excellent service, and watch the games in a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.
