Alex just replaced my condenser and my coils guys were professional came in did there job cleaned up after themselves and were very efficient. Moving toward the air conditioner condenser stopped working and called Alex. He came by and determined that the problem was the low voltage control cables going from inside to outside. He said he could fix it but he told me it would be cheaper to just do it myself. He told me what to get and how to run it and I did it and everything is running perfectly. Alex is very professional. Good guy I would recommend him to anyone. I'm sure he would of fixed it for nothing but when he installed unit rerunning pipes and wires wasn't an option so he just flushed them out and cleaned the old pipes. Thanks Alex. read more

After searching the web looking for an HVAC professional to replace my Heating/Air Conditioning I chose 24/7 HVAC Services to do business with. They were; 1) Timely & Professional & Responsible 2) Worked clean (cleaned up after themselves) 3) Trust worthy 4) Fairly Priced They went out of there way to fix & realign the ducts at no additional charge after learning that the previous instillation was not done efficiently. I also use them for maintenance. They are more often than not on time and fix all problems. Would recommend!!!! read more

After the past couple of mini heat waves to start the summer we have had, I finally relented to close the windows and turn on the AC...however while the fan in the unit outside was working there was no cold air. GREAT. On the recommendation of a neighbor I gave Alex at 24/7 a call, and he along with one of this guys was there the following morning before I left for work. After about 30 minutes of testing, and dissecting the unit which is in a our attic accessible only through one of those pull down stair systems we got some bad news that the system was on it's last legs. Not terribly surprising as it was pretty old. So we got a temporary fix via some coolant being injected into the attic portion of the unit to get some cold air going again while the necessary pieces were ordered. A couple of days later Alex was back with two guys to replace the air handler in the attic and the compressor in the outside condenser. Of course because of the tiny access way to the attic things were being dismantled piece by piece to be removed, and brought up to be assembled the same way with the new air handler. This took a considerable amount of time (as far as I know being oblivious to AC repair) and pretty much all day, but Alex stuck to his original estimate and the cleanup was great as well. I thought Alex and his team were professional, and straightforward with everything from the start, and I am now typing this in a perfectly air conditioned bedroom. Unlike the previous reviewer I will definitely be recommending Alex to friends and family. read more

Came the next day.repaired the fan on the central unit but now the refrigeration pipes keep freezing and air condition still not working. Charged 300 for 2 hours 2 men and problem continues.seems gas removed and 1 part for the secobd unit burned while repair.dogs feel the heat . read more

Called to have a tune up on central air system. They arrived 45 minutes late at 845 pm. How are you suppose to do a proper job in the dark? This tune up took 12 minutes. He then presented a bill for $150!! I complained and said the web site says a flat fee of $120. He said the extra $30 was for cleaning the coil, no parts replaced. I told him cleaning the coil was part if a tune up and you better take it off the bill. Would never recommend them. read more

Thank you to Kor Refrigeration/ASAP Heating and Air Conditioning Corporation/24/7 HVAC Services for saving us from our formerly hot house, which was becoming like an inferno thanks to what we found out was burnt wiring and a blown transformer thanks to Petro's incompetence and failure to fix the problem (https://www.yelp.com/biz/petro-home-services-hicksville). We ended up calling 24/7 HVAC Services after searching on the internet for emergency air conditioning repair services after Sears, the original installer of the Kenmore unit we have dating back to July 2002, failed to show up for our appointment with them. Thanks to the positive reviews on Google, Angie's List, legitimate licensing based on my research, and a positive impression of the website and speaking to Alex the owner, me and my mom went with this company as they were able to come out today on fairly short notice, unlike some other companies we called. Alex gave us a positive first impression, as he was very friendly, understanding as he did not want us to have to deal with a hot house and agreed that Petro was bad and made sure his guys would come out today at 7:30AM. Low and behold, Eduardo and Jose, two of his technicians, who proved to be fabulous, came out to help us. They were fabulous as they were very friendly (even our more timid dog didn't mind them too much), hard-working, efficient, and determined. They were here for about 3-hours and after finding burnt wiring between our air conditioner and thermostat and a blown transformer caused by Petro, who failed to shut off our circuit breaker for the A/C while they replaced one of their defective thermostats. Thanks to Eduardo and Jose's excellent workmanship as well as replacing the thermostat (they also offered other options, but this was best), the air conditioning system and thermostat now work perfectly again! While the service ended up being a bit pricey at $920 with tax ($850 before and they waived the diagnostic fee), this proved to be worth it as they did a very large amount of work and saved us from being in a house as hot as Dante's inferno as well as from potential fire hazards, especially the burnt wiring. We would definitely recommend Kor Refrigeration/ASAP Heating and Air Conditioning Corporation/24/7 HVAC Services, as they did a fantastic job at fixing our problem thanks to their excellent workmanship and determination! read more

Upstairs a/c unit was blowing warm air the other night so called for 24/7 HVAC and spoke to Alex over the phone and explained the problem. He said he'll be over within the hour. Now I have two units in my house; one for the up and one down. Both units are 8 year old York units. Alex gets to my house and without even checking anything out he tells me that its not blowing cold air because the temperature outside is not below 70, but he could put a device on the a/c at a cost of $300 which will allow it to blow cold air when the temp is below 70. Now we've never had this problem before, and if he thought the problem was so simple he could have told me that over the phone when he called. Alex is on the side of my house looking at the compressors and I'm in the house. A few minutes later he knocks at my front door and tells me I need 2 lbs freon which will cost me $120 and that should fix the problem. He puts freon in and comes to my door to give me a bill because he is finished and I'm thinking everything is fixed. Now he is getting ready to leave my house and he hasn't even checked the vent upstairs to make sure my a/c is working properly, so I ask him to check it and sure enough there is still warm air coming out. Now he goes on the side of my house again by the condensing units and knocks at my front door and tells me that the line going into the condensing unit is leaking and entire unit needs to be replaced which will cost me $2500. He never bothered asked me which condensing unit controlled the upstairs a/c and frankly it didn't seem to matter to him because he was only there to collect his $120 and add freon which he probably never put in to begin with. Now I paid him $240.00; $120 service charge and $120 to put freon in the unit that wasn't even having a problem. Long story short, next day call Airz-a-Cool'n in Deer Park. They repaired the problematic line and recharged the system; total cost $540.00 and everything is working fine. The told my that the unit is too new and no reason to replace the entire unit. 24/7 HVAC Services will take the easy way out just to collect a service charges and then tell you that you need a costly repair job, which you don't. They are dishonest and never even attempted to fix the problem. This company is a joke and a complete waste of money. Now I'll report them to Consumer Affairs. read more

The fan on my outside compressor stopped working so I called Alex at 24/7 HVAC and he said they'd be over within a couple of hours. It was a little late by the time they arrived but not too bad. They determined that I needed a new motor for the fan but it would have to wait a day for the part. Within 24 hours they had the unit working which is all I was looking for. Too bad it couldn't have been completed the same day but I guess you can't possibly stock every part on the truck. The main thing is that they fixed the problem smoothly. read more

We had an emergency. One of our central air A/C units in our attic over-flowed its catch pan. My wife just happened to hear a bit of noise coming from our spare bedroom, on the second floor, and went in to find the ceiling bowed down from water, a steady stream of dripping water and a mattress that was turned into a GIANT sponge. The water also made it to floor and the rug and would have soaked down to the next floor had we not shut off the A/C unit and sopped up the mess. Our previous go-to A/C repairman, our neighbor, moved a couple of months ago. I began reaching out to our neighbors. One of them recommended Alex of Kor 24/7 HVAC. He has several times called on Alex to fix/maintain all the units in the commercial building where he works. He had great things to say about Alex: quality work, reasonable rates. I called Alex. About an hour later, Alex and his helper Jose showed up. They went into the attic and Alex quickly, and correctly, diagnosed the problem: a clogged condensate drain line. They cleared out the drain on the problem unit and also cleaned out the drain of the other unit that wasn't overflowing - but it was the professional thing to do - and that's the kind of extra step that you want/need. not sure why yelp moved my previous 5 star review into the unhelpful section, but 24/7 just came yesterday to clean our coils and evaporators and check our compressors for our central air.
