I was referred by another appliance place since apparently people do not want to work on old appliances. I asked him to order what the other company said and he said no, let me look at it first. He actually showed up! He tested everything and said I cannot recreate the noise you said you heard, (true, did not make any grinding noise, not a peep as I was standing right next to him) nor is it leaking as the other place told you, put the dishwasher back in the kitchen and use it. He could have said you need to replace the $350 motor, pump, etc., but was honest and probably thought I was nuts going without a dishwasher this long but I just did what the other company said, don't use it until....Naturally, never heard back from those two people. Being old, this is the type of company, customer service and honesty I grew up with which is now sadly lacking in almost everything.
