DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE unless you want to wait for eternity and be lied to and misled multiple throughout the entire process. We took our vehicle in to get a bumper, radiator, fans, and air conditioning fixed after rear-ending someone. For a job that normally should take 1 month or less, it took 24 hour collision 2+ months. Staff had the audacity to blame US for choosing an after market bumper kit that required welding parts together (when no other viable/affordable bumper was available). You would think an autobody collision repair shop would have the ability to weld parts together, but not 24 hour collision. My husband has mental health concerns that are significantly aggravated by stress and I wrote to 24 Hr about this .The next day they were magically able to install the front lights to our vehicle (the very last item that was the cause of the delay -- a job that does not take an entire week to complete) and arranged for us to pick up our vehicle.   The nightmare doesn't end here. While driving our vehicle away from 24 hr we found: 1) a loose metal piece in front of the front left wheel that scraped the inside of the wheel well while driving 2) the intercooler pipe was not tightened on and popped off while we were driving 3) one of the tires of our vehicle was pumped over the limit of 36 PSI up to 81 PSI!   DON"T take your vehicle to 24 hr collision unless you enjoy being jerked around, lied to and having your vehicle suspiciously tampered with in such a way that could have caused a serious accident.   24 hour collision should not be in business and should not be an accredited ICBC auto body shop. Terrible experience with these people. I went there to fix my driver side mirror. The girl at the front desk was unprofessional and misleading. They didn't even complete their job and half done my driver side mirror. There were so many scratches on it luckily I noticed it while I was there and ask them to fix it and the guy had to do polish 3 times in order to remove all the scratches This shop likes to charge money, but doesn't like to complete the job properly and leave it half done. Do not rely on there words they are misleading and not trustworthy especially the girl at the front desk provide false information. The estimate she gave prior to the position was different from that on the bill, even though there was no additional service. read more

The people there are young, very outgoing and have really great interpersonal skills. BUT it's almost as if they use that to their advantage to try and get away with things. They took no accountability when they realized they didn't put our spare tire back in its intended spot (under the truck). Instead they quickly gave a story saying they couldn't find the tools to be able to put it back. One guy said "ah Ford models..", which was another excuse, no accountability and no apology. Instead the situation was laughed off, trying to maintain their "likability" rather than repair the customer relationship. They could have easily figured out where to find it or at least attempted to try and find it through a simple google search of the make and model! 24 Hour Collision Center - Body Shops Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

I went to this shop in February after I rear-ended someone in the heavy snow that we had in Vancouver. They took photos for the ICBC claim that I put in and I thought things would go along smoothly after that. I didn't hear from them or ICBC for many weeks, despite me periodically checking in to see what was happening with the claim. They kept telling me that because it was an older car it would take longer. Finally I called ICBC and it turns out they didn't even receive the photos. I called 24 Hour Collision again and they said that they needed to re-take the photos because there had been a problem with the server. This was more than a month after my first visit! You'd think they would bother to give me a call to let me know, instead of me having to badger them about it only to discover I was waiting for something that wasn't actually happening. Then, after I got the second set of photos done, they didn't actually get sent until three weeks later, according to ICBC. So many delays. It ended up taking several months to get this simple claim done, and now thanks to that I have to rush to find a new car before I move, as mine ended up being a write-off. They get two stars because the desk staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but the huge delays that went on in the background ended up screwing me over. I get that they were busy because of all the snow-related collisions, but it literally took months. Wouldn't come here again, sorry. read more

I very rarely write reviews but felt that It was the least I could do given the quality of service I receive over at 24 hour collision. I brought my Carola to them after a parked car opened their door into the side of my car as I was reversing into a parking space leaving a pretty ugly scrape all the way down my side door. Costumer service was awesome, got my car in the next day. Dealt with ICBC without me having to do anything, and hooked me up with a courtesy car that was much nicer than my own (my wife didn't want to give it back). When I did pick up my car I was stunned. They truly went way above and beyond and had the car both cleaned and polished. I had some preexisting very noticeable cracks on the rear side panel that they had taken care of for free, and they had even gone so far as to leave me a little gift bag on my seat. I was really stunned at how far they went to make sure I had a great experience and that my car was in much better shape than before. I really can't recommend 24hr highly enough. They really go way beyond what is expected, do quality work, and make you feel valued. read more

I found these guys on a Google Search when I searched "Ford Car repair." I was at the stage at the time to get an estimate first (I always gather 3 estimates on everything as a rule of thumb before making any sort of solid decision as to where to spend my money). It was also my New Year's resolutions this year (one of) to finally get some body work done that's been on the back burner for 8 years before the damage escalates into something more serious like rust. I called and spoke with Kayley who was awesome in terms of customer service (communication being a huge thing for me). She gave me all the information I needed to bring my car down for an estimate. I finally came in this morning for my estimate, as scheduled and confirmed by Kayley. I parked my car and saw her just walk outside. Did she forget that I had an appointment? I sat there in the lobby for 10 minuets twiddling my thumbs as there was no receptionist. Finally I had to barge into the work shop to get some attention for someone to look at my car before work. I spoke with Darren who honestly didn't seem to be the brightest crayon in the box. He couldn't find the damage. Granted it was still dark outside at 7 am and the car was parked at an odd angle, however, I had to offer my flashlight for him to see and he still couldn't find the damage until I pointed it out to him. His response was, "I don't know how much it's going to cost, It will cost the part and labour." Well no shit that these things work, however, when I googled it specifically said on their search and site that these guys specialize in Fords. With that said he didn't know or have an idea? Couldn't even give me a labor rate? I pointed it out to him that the reason I came over was to get an estimate not to get some generic wishy washy answer. Finally I coaxed him into taking pictures in which he said he will get back to me in a day or two with the estimate, however, he didn't bother to take my e-mail address. I had to say to him, "Do you want my e-mail?" He then reached the reception desk and gave me a blank notebook to write my e-mail, however, I doubt that the receptionist will even get my e-mail address or that I will see the estimate. I'm not holding my breath and decided right then and there that I was going to move onto another quote. Darren was trying to convince me to go to ICBC not understanding that the estimated cost of the damage for something that was my fault plus the deductible would not be worth it as this would raise my rates for something that is actually very small. He also tried to convince me that there would be possibly "further damage" which isn't try considering I know what happened, the impact and from research it's just a replacement and the part isn't connected to anything else. I didn't get a good vibe or sense of professionalism which is a red flag with me. I need to go with my gut instinct. read more

So far, my experience has not been anything to rave about. I dropped my vehicle off yesterday (March 29th) and was given a BMW X1 as a courtesy vehicle. Part of the door handle is missing which should of been my first clue. I got into the vehicle, drove away and the gas light came on as well as a light saying washer fluid was empty. The trunk is filthy so I am not sure what was actually detailed on the vehicle. There is a very weird smell coming from inside the vehicle - a mix of spoilt milk and body odor. I told them that I am returning the vehicle and would like a rental arranged as I have coverage on my ICBC for it. I told the girl (Simren) that I will drop off the car on Saturday so the rental has been arranged for Saturday, which she did. I checked the website to see the hours for Saturday and they aren't even open. How am I supposed to return a vehicle on a day they are closed??? At this point, I should of just gone to Kirmac - they would of put me in a clean rental immediately and not me having to jump thru hoops. read more

Good Body work and finish on my car not perfect but good enough... Needs to improve customer service. Brought my car November had to bring it back again because of alighnment issues on my lift gate which had a very wide gap in between the frame and the gate. Had to wait for a courtesy car for over a week since it was a back job I thought they would have prioritized my car. By the time a courtesy car was available I had to deal with a courtesy car with lots of pet hair and disgusting seat upholstery, yes the corolla was brand new but it was filthy. To make things worst I even found a rotten and molded tomato under the driver's seat. When I told Jennifer about the filthy courtesy car she just said "oohhh I'm sorry we charged the one before you cleaning fees"... Sure you charged them but you still made me use the filthy Corolla for over a week.... read more

A co-worker recommended 24hr collision and I called them to have a small cosmetic repair done on my car. This was an ICBC claim and the process was seamless. I was very satisfied with their: response times, flexibility of communication methods, time line on repair, the job of course and extra things like delivering my car back to my home for me on repairman plates so I did not have to buy another day permit to pick up my car which was on a storage policy. Additionally, they offered a quote on another job giving me an option to consider that for the future. In addition to these facts, the staff at 24hr Collision also detailed my car inside and out and buffed out some slight cosmetic imperfections on the body which was really nice. My only feedback which could be used for future consideration, was that some of the white buffing material residue was left on several parts of my hood, the area that could require re-painting. I am sure they would have corrected this had I brought it to their attention, but since the car was already at my home, I decided I would just take care of it on my own next time I was this car. Additionally, this was the result of 24hr Collision going well above and beyond the scope of my repair so not a problem at all. I am simply a stickler for details so it requires mentioning. I don't write reviews - in fact, this is the first one I've written for Yelp. So why am I doing this one? Simply put, this company deserves it. My family have been using them for years and years. I personally have used them for all of my collision repairs. Their service and counter manners are exceptional, they take the time to make sure that you're comfortable and that you understand what is going on. They let you know that you have their attention. Experiencing collisions is terrible, and the folks at 24 Hour Collision really make the repair process a great experience. So details from my last repair - their service desk was quick to help schedule an appointment, and they now have a text message feature where they can keep you up to date - they were giving me heads up notes almost daily, which really gave me peace of mind. They also receive texts 24 hours, and responded to one that I sent late at night fairly early the next morning. There was no wait time even though I was a little early when dropping off my vehicle - their inspector was on hand and ready, listening as I told him where the damage was. They had a courtesy car ready to go right afterwards. I was there and back within the span of my lunch break. The courtesy car was new, clean, and easy to drive. When I ran into some additional issues and called them about it, they were very helpful in explaining my options and ready to guide me through some additional processes to resolve them. They were very patient with what I had to say. Getting my vehicle back after repairs is like getting back my vehicle after it's gone for a spa treatment - sparkling clean on the inside and out! They also pointed out a spot that they weren't able to clean as well - they didn't have to do that - which I completely understood, as I think that spot was related to an unfortunate encounter I had with quick-mix cement dust from Canadian Tire... In all, I would definitely recommend this company - they have me as their customer for life. *** BEWARE OF LOW QUALITY REPAIRS *** They repaired the surface but did not pay the same attention to detail underneath. A noticeable gap was left uncorrected under the hood which could potentially cost me $$$ when selling my car. They tried to lie to me saying that the gap is normal and refused to do anything about it. I had to report them to ICBC, which then prompted the owner to reluctantly correct it. The end result was still shoddy. The reason for choosing this shop was the bigger shops like Craftsman, Boyd, and Kirmac all had longer wait times at the time. Had my black car shopped here (door was damaged) but the work was mediocre...had to go back a few times to get things fixed. The service was great, great staff etc...but the work was not great...especially on a black car where the professionalism shows. They took out some accessory while doing the work which was damaged when it was put back. I went back a third time to get my memory seat button fixed. My door has scuff marks and it is not valet worthy to say the least, not going to make another trip for this...had about enough of the going back and forth. This place is split with great staff and horrible staff. When I brought my first car here everything was great. Than when I brought my second car here everything was a nightmare. The manager called me personally to apologize sincerely which was nice of him so I decided to give the place one last chance presently and was let down again. I called in and the desk women seemed to be trying to hurry to rush off the phone and instead of booking me in for anything she told me to send some stuff in through text message and that ill receive a call the next day. So after i got off the phone i received a text message and I responded immediately asking for some info to what was needed on my end. No response. Next day still no response and no phone call either. The down fall of this place is that they don't keep their words when they say they will call you and they are horrible at responding to your msges. I hate that they wait untill you get angry is when they decide to get back to you quickly. I hate that im even leaving this review because there are great staff there but the horrible ones ruins it for the rest. read more

I rarely give reviews on any place but couldn't stop myself from writing this piece. Before I start, I must mention that I have not been paid to write this and I did not know this shop or the owners before this interaction. This Body shop is arguably the best that Vancouver has ever seen. Their level of service is beyond compare and they deserve my 5 stars! I was recommended a few 'preferred' shops by my Insurance firm, but after visiting some of them I was frustrated by their cocky attitude and lack of customer service. Then I discovered 24 hour Collision Center through a quick internet search around the area, but I was cautious seeing the amazing reviews for this place - it sounded too unreal, till I visited them. My plan was to check out this place and not really commit to anything. DB & Seema who own & operate this place met me and allayed all my fears and apprehensions. They walked me through the entire process in less than 10 mins, which had sounded so complex when the Insurance guys had explained on the phone for a good 45 mins ! DB was extremely courteous and Seema was super efficient, and completed all the paperwork in 5 mins. They handed me the keys to a Courtesy Car and DB helped move my baby seats & all the stuff to the new car. All this without any prior appointment, no booking of the courtesy car was needed. This was too good to be true. I was hooked! Now the moment of truth - I was very curious if they were really going to fix my car properly and bring it back to its original state. I received regular emails from them updating me of the car status. Then finally they called to say that the car was ready after a few days. I was shocked at what I found - my 10 year old car looked better than new! They had fixed both the claims(front & back bumpers), taken care of few other nicks and dents in the body, given the car a thorough shine, buffed the grime from the front lights, painted the tires and also painted a mirror I had installed by myself. The cherry in the cake was, they had done a complete detailing of the interior as well. I had never shampooed my carpets before, and they had their fair share of spilled drinks & kiddo what-nots. But everything was now cleaned and had a glow and a nice smell. The original carpet and seat colours were finally showing!! To add to it, they had a Goo die Bag placed inside the car and DB himself came to walk me around the car explaining all the repairs done, while Seema completed the paperwork. DB also explained how his father had owned the shop before him and he learnt the ropes from his old man. Before my jaw could drop in appreciation & amazement, he attached a Key-chain flash light to my Keys before handing it over. I did not have to pay any extra charge other than my deductible and have had the most awesome customer service experience in my life. This, folks is not a franchisee operation but a typical husband-wife operation who work hard on your vehicle and know how to keep the customer happy. I am floored by their service, and commend them in achieving the highest level. I wish them success and hope that I do not need to visit them again. But if I ever have to then, there are no second thoughts. I will recommend all my friends and also anyone reading this to, not waste any time trying out other Body shops...This Is THE PLACE. I am very pleased with the work done on my 2005 Acura RSX. Not only did they repair the damage but they cleaned my car inside out! I think they washed my carpets and the leather seats ect. Whole car smelt great and was spick and span! It did take a little longer than I expected but I think it's a a busy time of year and a popular business. I also loved that they leave a gift bar in your car. The bag came with a windshield scraper, a fun flashlight, a miniature notebook, hand sanitizer, and a pack of gum to keep it fresh!! Courtesy cars are provided if you have Comprehensive. The car was clean but unfortunately didn't have windshield wiper fluid and the wipers were in poor shape. It also had a burnt out head light. Hopefully they take better car of the CC before the next driver! I would definitely recommend 24hr to my friends and fam jam! Thank god their google review page is taken down with all those fake 5 star reviews. Decided to bring my car in for an ICBC claim because I was misled by all those fake positive reviews. They charge way more than other accredited ICBC repair shops, and the quality of work is terrible. The quality of the paint job really shows when you have a black or dark coloured car. There were white powder and tiny dents in the clear coat. When they tried to fixing it they made it even worse. Half of the bumper was dull and had no shiny clear coat. Had to bring it in a couple of times for them to fix it. Customer service reps had no idea how to talk to customers, only the manager had decent customer service skills. Was offer extra service when my car gets a small dent they will fix it. Highly doubt they will honour their words. read more

Body work is fine, but had a little dust particle in the paint, it will be there forever. It took 2 weeks for a simple scratch job because had to wait for a moulding for the outside bottom door, now its kinda loose, but I'm thinking they didn't change it, just an excuse, not enough employees cause it was not mentioned by icbc. Went to get my car, they cleaned, wiped and vacuumed, not the side of the seats. Meaning they probably went through my stuff, even my trunk, put my jacket from my back seat into my trunk in a little bin that I had (was it necessary!). The first thing I noticed was they unplugged my dash cam. xxxkers! They also want to ask you for a picture in their Instagram? Go to hell! Saw the bill that I didnt have to pay. I was referred to 24 hour Collision by our mechanic and I was amazed with their service. The professionalism, trust and respect the staff at this company showed was amazing. Their work is above and beyond and they take the time to do it. I asked for a courtesy car and it was arranged promptly. They were so patient with my delayed replies and when I wen tto drop off my vehicle DB, the manager, explained the "vital" information as quickly as possible because I had to rush out. Car accident is surely one of the worst things can happen to me, but 24HR collision and DB certainly made it less suck for me. The whole process was simply and easy. All I did was uploading a picture of my damaged car to their website and I got a quotation right way. When I handed them my car they gave me service car to drive completely free. They didn't even charge me gas for the service car I drove for two days. I just got my car back yesterday and it looks almost brand new. Their price was exactly as the quotation and it was a very very good price. Last but not least, DB is such a friendly and patient person. He literally explained every question I had. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. Don't think I met Db himself but he definitely does have the best employees in North America. From the ladies at the reception desk, to all the fine gentleman working in the shop, they sure know what great customer service really is and they don't treat you like just another customer in the line. After my collision I was forced to find a collision repair shop and googled a few and found 24 Hr Collision. It had 4.9 Stars (Don't mind that random 1 star review guy he's making it up) and 50 something reviews so i knew it would be a nice place to bring my blue Ford Ranger for repair. Also it was somewhat close to home so I was sold. You can firstly tell how much they think about their customers once you walk in the door and see complimentary waters, juices, candies, cool pen flashlights, and of course the up most polite and kind ladies at the front desk. Not only that, the lady at the desk even offered to stay a little later past her time if I was running late. Completely surprising and a very much appreciated gesture. It didn't take me longer than 10 minutes to drop my truck off and head home in one of their clean complimentary cars. As I was waiting for my truck to be repaired, Kristina made sure I was updated on the progress and was quick to reply to my emails. The day I went to pick my truck up (March 15th) I had really never been so surprised. They had really gone above and beyond like others have said, they were extremely thoughtful, every detail was taken care of, even bolting the one bolt missing for the front left splash guard, that really surprised me as it was a minute detail that any other bodyshop would have missed. I'm a simple guy that doesn't expect a lot from people, I would've been happy even if they just touched up the scratches with some random blue paint lying around in the back, but they did much more and made sure that all the scratches and dents were professionally repaired and perfectly done and they really surprised me and even gave the truck a really detailed wash inside and out. Gave me a goodie bag, they pretty much had the truck at the spa for a day. Truck looks like a mirror now. They even cleaned and detailed the entire engine, like what the hell? These guys are insanely thoughtful. Could not be happier, I felt like a King in the time that I was given with 24hr Collision. I can quite easily say that this is both the best service I have ever received in my life from any establishment, and that this is the best service I have ever even heard of.
