OK, first let me tell you what Hollywood Roadhouse is, it is a roadhouse. A nice little funky bar with a few tables and soon to have gaming. It's not fancy, it's not trendy. This place sat empty for several years. The new owner Terry and her husband, came in and gave it a nice face lift. I don't give five stars easily. That being said I wish I could do 4 1/2 stars and let me tell you why. Five stars to me means everything is perfect. They're not perfect yet. They are new and they're still working out some bugs so you have to be patient. My wife and I have been here several times. I had a Merkts Burger one night and it was excellent cooked perfectly the meat was fresh, perfectly done. I had Wings another night they were great cooked to order juicy just the right amount of hot sauce. We had fish fry a couple times and it's very very good. A nice touch is the potato cakes, a little inconsistent but very good. All in all it's very good bar food. The prices are extremely reasonable. We are big fans of eating local. Up here in Lindenhurst there's not a lot to choose from. Hollywood Roadhouse offers a nice place for a quick burger and a beer. They will see us often read more

Great little pub! It's cash only but they have an ATM with $3 fee. The food is inexpensive and usually great. We eat there at least once a week and usually for the Friday fish fry. The Walleye is fantastic as well as cod fish(ayce) It's a Cajun hot batter by default so ask for plain batter, no Cajun spice if you are like me. Burgers are good quality and best served medium rare. The tap beer and frozen mugs are great. They have a lot of specials through the week. It's got this Hollywood stars interior theme and some kind of movie night. The staff are great people and the clientele are usually 30+yo.and the dining room is clean and relatively quiet. Great place and I hope the food prices stay the same! read more

Outstanding food (generous portions) at excellent prices. The drink specials and prices are equally outstanding. Highly recommended. Hopefully they maintain this level of excellence. Terri and her team are top-notch. Dee, Heather, and Kenny provide excellent service and talent. The only two drawbacks are they can't get Brewers games on TV (I know that Hollywood is in Illinois - and California, and Florida - but not everyone is a Cobs or Sox fan) and they won't allow customers to access WiFi. My husband and I were driving by and we saw this restaurant that we had never been in before. We pulled into the lot and went inside. It was the best choice we could have made. The decor was great and the food was wonderful. The prices were outstanding and our waitress was beyond words. Her name was Heather and she went beyond being just a super waitress but made you feel like you were at home. I KNOW we will be going back again and bringing some of our friends to enjoy this cozy restaurant and pub. This joint has quickly become my favorite in the county, and I've been all over the place. Quality, always fresh food, never frozen burgers, and the best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had. And I'm not a mushroom eater. Very reasonable prices. A GREAT staff of friendly courteous people, from the owner on down. Make sure to ask about food that's not on the menu, because sometimes they have great soups, chili, and sandwiches inspired for the day. Words can't describe how awesome this place is!! Great food, great bartenders, and great drink deals! Super friendly and fun environment and they have free bingo every Tuesday with awesome prizes! We just had dinner last night with friends for the first time at the Roadhouse. Great prices on drinks and food. We all had the half pound burgers-delicious! Dee the bartender/waitress was fantastic. Love this place! Food is great and prices reasonable. Had a whole "meal" of three Sunday specials for $3. (See picture.) The menu is very creative...bar food with a twist. Décor is charming. There is a funny debate going on about one of the movie star portraits on the wall. The crowd was affable and fun. Great place with great wings. The bartenders/servers are extremely attentive to the customer. I had went in one day and met Dee.
