This is a great place you need to come too if you're in Racine. What a fun and friendly place. Tayler is the best and most fun bartender. Definitely drop by just to see her. They have a great vibe and the views are phenomenal. The drinks are amazing and if you want something special Tayler has you. They do have small eats and you can actually order from Marguerite restaurant and bring it up. As the only rooftop bar in Racine you need to come and enjoy this location. I love this. read more

The Christmas pop up was incredibly disappointing. I love the idea of the pop up and the decorations were decent..however.....this pop up lacked big time!! One bartender a few days before Christmas when you're promoting the pop up on social is really bad. Then having your bartender say he can't wait for the night to end is even worse. If you're going to do a Christmas theme bar- perhaps hire someone who wants to be there and make sure they want to be in the Christmas spirit along with more bartenders or staff! Even allowing them to wear something Christmas related would have been a nice touch. As for the drinks- if you're going to offer a special Christmas drink menu at least give me a drink made fresh and not from a pre-mix thrown in a random glass with no Christmas look to it. A little sprinkle or a rim with sugar sure would have made a difference! 3 of us all ordered off the special menu and each drink was AWFUL! And looked miserable. And what made it worse is they were over $10 each and we ended up throwing them out. I made better holiday drinks at home for my family! My dad who ordered a beer was the only one who enjoyed his drink. This bar was to be classy and it missed the mark for sure! Hopefully in time this place will be able to hire a real mixologist that can elevate the quality of drinks. (And maybe even hire someone to just clean the tables). I would not recommended this place to anyone unless you're ordering a beer. read more

It is a great add to Racine area since it is probably the most modern feel within 30min of Racine by a landslide. I really hope it does well bc it would be great for the area. The drink choice was great for cocktails & wine but beer selection is scarce. They only had one beer on draft at that time. Surprising bc it was a Saturday evening in the summer. The food selection also very scarce. Only 4 options for food but yet they get them from the kitchen at the other restaurant in Hotel Verdant. We got the Nashville Hot Chicken & the Poutine. Both were very good tasting & great portion sizes, like massive actually. Odd they call them "Small Bites" on the menu bc they definitely weren't small. However, we did share them. Overall, great ambiance & the food was great. Just would be smart to add more choices from the restaurant on main floor. read more

First, this venue is fantastic. The holiday decorations are amazing and it has certainly become a draw -- which is the problem. Was there with a group of friends on a Monday night and the wait to get served was insane. There are never enough bartenders. Don't advertise your holiday pop-up if you aren't going to staff it appropriately. It's an ongoing problem that must be fixed. read more

Went for late-night drinks at the rooftop bar. It was great on several fronts. First, the ambiance is great. Clearly, much thought was put into the design--modern and chic. The staff was friendly, and made excellent mixed drinks. The location is the main draw--and it's leveraged well. Even at night, the outdoor seating is wonderful. I've lived in Racine for decades, and it was thrilling to sit on the roof and look out at this city that I've loved and studied most of my adult life. The indoor portion of the bar was also great. Comfortable seating, a big fireplace, and big windows wrapping the entire area. I can't wait to go again--and bring friends. read more

Just visited Eave for the first time and already can't wait for my next visit. Got to call out the bartender (Tori) who was absolutely phenomenal. Made me feel at home and made some incredible drinks. The space is stunning and eclectic. Beautiful views and the crowd was also amazing. I was by myself and had multiple people have a friendly conversation with me. Pretty sure I've found my new favorite spot in Racine! read more

Beautiful fifth floor cocktail lounge. Views are worth the elevator ride up. Creative cocktails. Top shelf ingredients. Amazing and hardworking bartender/hostess named Tori made everyone feel welcome here. She handled quite a few customers with a smile and personal greeting. The atmosphere of the rooftop was great with it's views and chic furnishings. The drinks however were mediocre. My Dirty Goose martini was more dirty than goose and served straight up rather than on the rocks as requested. No big deal, but... Pretty limited wine selection. My wife had a choice of one Chardonay which was ok. What was unsettling is my credit card company informed me of a possible tip error. There was a very significant difference from my recorded tip and the amount submitted by Eave. Don't know that we'll be back. read more

Tori is amazing, you are very lucky to have her! Drinks are delicious. Wish you were open on Sundays, though. People generally can't get there until later in the day, due to other commitments, but still want a nice cocktail later in the day, especially in the summer. read more

Eave is the jewel of the already fantastic Hotel Verdant. I have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Tori specifically has always been a very friendly, engaging and attentive bartender to me and all of the out of town friends that I have brought here. The Hotel is lucky to have her! Last night as I was there I watched her work the area by herself, quickly, personably, and professionally, as she dealt with a consistent volume of customers both inside as well as out on the patio. As busy as she was, she handled every request with a smile, patience and in a timely/friendly manner. I was impressed. You've got a good one in Tori as she is an excellent example of a welcoming first impression when people visit Eave at the Hotel Verdant! read more

Disappointing. I had been to Eave twice before, for private parties, where we had an AMAZING buffet of appetizers. Last night, July 3, was a big disappointment. I brought two people there for the first time. The bar was understaffed: two bartenders, one of whom was on her phone (in fairness, I think communicating with the restaurant downstairs) for several minutes. Meanwhile, we had looked over the menu of food that was laying out on the bar, only to be told that this was the wrong menu: we needed to look at this small printed sheet. Four options. Made our selections, only to be told they were all out of one of them. Ordered drinks. No Moscato. No Pino Grigio (who doesn't have Pino Grigio??) Ordered alternatives. Maybe because they were extra-busy with the holiday, but they should then have laid in extra stock and had an extra bartender on duty. Eave is a marvelous addition to Downtown Racine, but it won't last if this is the standard of service and supply. Please add more appetizer options to the menu, and have them in stock! read more
