First time here and had a really great experience. The inside is really nicely set up and decorated. Big parking lot. Excellent service at the bar and the cocktails were well crafted. Fallen off. Place is clean but they have hired people that can not handle the job. The food was not at our table for 2 hours of waiting and when it came it was mediocre at best and the manager couldn't care less about the service or the food. She was spoken to about us getting here 2 hours ago and not being served she had nothing to say ... when a worker can't handle a table of 8 as a manager I would jump in and help. We sat at the bar this time and had great bartender Samantha. We tried the Pub-Chuterie that was okay, but the soft pretzel is awesome. Just had breakfast there this AM. I had eggs Benedict. Eggs were overcooked (yokes were hard) and there was barely any Hollandaise Sauce. Also had some sort of sweetness that I wouldn't expect. Disappointing! My wife had Berry Crepes. Crepes were overcooked. Crispy/burnt around the edges. Bloody Mary was acceptable. They also had a guitar player/ vocalist. The bagel was reallyyyyy good, the lox super fresh served with cream cheese, lettuce, red onion and capers. Very tasty. My sister had steak & eggs said it was great. My niece had the chicken and waffles which were thighs. She wasn't too fond of hers and expected to be a chicken breast. The mimosas were tasty. My husband and I dined last night at 279 Social and it was delicious. We had honey bbq wings for an appetizer and for my entree I had the salmon over lemon risotto with mango salsa and my husband the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. I was especially happy with the Lohr Sauvignon Blanc. It is on tap which I rarely see and it was a healthy pour. The bar and dining area are attractive and our waitress was friendly and attentive.
