There are tasting menu, prie fixe, and a la carte options and you can mix and match at the table. Don't sleep on the cocktail/mocktail situation, and my friend who did the wine pairing did compliment the pairs. They do drinks well here. They are also very generous with the DELICIOUS bread and butter for the table. The highlights at our table were: - yuzu mocktail - crab tostada - branzino (one of the best fish dishes I've ever had) - katsu wagyu beef (never had anything like it, GET IT) - chocolate tart Service was grand. Came here for my wife's birthday where they offer a Chef Tasting menu (5 course), Prix Fixe (3 course) as well as a la carte. I love when you go to a restaurant and everything just hits, needless to say, 2941 got everything right! First, the restaurant itself is beautiful, set upon a lake and inside it has extremely high ceilings, an open concept and a luxurious and sophisticated feel without feeling stuffy. I took my hubby here on 7/23/2025 for his birthday, we had a reservation and when we walked in and went to the host stand they greeted us, told my husband happy birthday and took us to our table. When we opened our menus we saw that happy birthday (insert my husband's name) was printed on the menu, LOVE that! All of these small details matter and make for a more elite experience. We were greeted by our server pretty quickly and my husband ordered an Old Fashioned, he said it was excellent and the second best he's ever had. We both got the five-course tasting menu, there are two options for each course and we decided to each order the opposite dish each course, so we could try it all. Everything was exceptional, all of the courses were thoughtful, seasoned well and everything went together perfectly, there were some dishes we liked more and for us the standouts were the grilled bluefin tuna, Stracciatella Cheese & Peas, the Berkshire Pork Cheeks and the Roasted Artichoke; outstanding! A very nice restaurant that is worth trying! I came here for restaurant week because I had heard good things about this place. For $65, you get 3 courses: appetizer, entree, and dessert. The location was kind of strange. The restaurant is in an office building and shares a parking lot with said offices. The doors from the parking garage are also locked after 8, so there is an attendant inside to open the door for you. You also need to make several turns to go to an elevator, but there are a lot of signs directing you where to go. Outside of the restaurant, there is a scenic area with a koi pond and waterfalls. Overall, the service was excellent. Workers came by fairly often to make sure that we had everything that we needed and also explained each dish. The food was excellent overall, but I do wish that some of the dishes were better for the price point. For example, the salmon tartare appetizer was quite salty, and the watermelon cooler was a bit too sour. The other dishes were great though. 2941 may be the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been in, inside and out. Outside there are views for days! There's a small body of water surrounded by lush trees. 2941 seems all glass on the side facing the water, and it is a fantastic view from that side. The restaurant has a sizeable lobby and bar area. The bar is well appointed with liquor and wine and had some of the most comfortable bar chairs. The seating area of the restaurant had coordinating chairs and tons of tables. I visited 2941 for a private event, a wedding. Overall, I think the couple chose a great venue. It was beautiful there, the service was awesome, and the food was really good. I'm not often in the Falls Church area, but next time I am in town, I'd like to eat at this restaurant normally, lol. read more

While there's not much of an area to sit and wait, there is a bar off to the side. There's simple minimal decor, it sort of reminds me of a fancy hotel lobby restaurant. It was a lovely space with the high ceilings and windows all around. The service is impeccable, and timed perfectly when you order appetizers and starters. We had steak and lobster ravioli. The lobster ravioli was easily one of the best meals I've had in my life. Unfortunately, there was a string in the food (I'm guessing and hoping maybe it was just from the lobster on top after a poach). The steak was very tender and well seasoned but not overdone. We had an overall fine time at 2941. It's got a weird setup - off the beaten path and in the lobby of a corporate office building. Feels a lot like a hotel. Inside is very nice and the service was really good throughout our meal. They have a soaring ceiling and spacious dining room that was very comfortable. Four and a half stars - half star off because the wagyu ribeye was overcooked (still delicious and we ate every bite but it was not medium rare. It was closer to medium well). First off, the service was warm, informative without being condescending. Attentive without being hover-y. The food? Excellent. We had the chef's tasting menu, which had five courses, and we were able to try nearly everything on the menu. Except for the slightly overcooked wagyu ribeye and this dish with too much olives (I'm not a fan of olives), everything was awesome. But what was truly fantastic and kind and generous was the free cake and mango profiteroles when our server heard we were considering 2941 as our wedding venue. We rolled out of the restaurant with belts loosened and bellies stuffed. We had a really lovely time, a fantastic (and reasonably priced) tasting dinner, numerous desserts, delicious mocktails, and truly stellar service. What really shone was the service. We were actually checking out the place as our venue for wedding/reception and I think we are booking it. When our server heard that, we were treated to a congratulatory chocolate cake of intense richness, and the most amazing mango profiteroles that I am still thinking about. We also got a short tour of the rooms available for wedding receptions, walked around the property, and had a really lovely evening. This is going on our rotation of date night spots. Waterfall looked amazing, koi fish pond was very cute at the entrance. The only thing I didn't like is that the entrance needs to be more accessible for those with wheel chairs or walkers that are not able to go through the rotating doors. There is a side door but there was no pull on the outside, so some may have difficulty coming in if they had to come in alone. I came here with a dear friend for an early dinner, and we ordered various items from both a prix fixe and a la carte, including the Crispy Calamari, a white fish entree, rabbit (?), a seafood squid ink pasta dish, and a ravioli entree. Desserts included the Exotic St. Honore, which was prepared with passion fruit cremeux, mango compote, and banana gelato. Honestly, all the food was just not enjoyable - while the presentation was fine, the flavors were just not there. Something was off-putting about the sauces and the purees that they were using; the meats were not seasoned, and everything tasted bland. We left quite a lot on the plates and was hardly able to finish more than a couple of bites. Service was also not great - we were hardly ever checked upon, and when the dishes were delivered, nothing was shared about the dish and everything was dropped off in a gruff manner. I went here with some friends last night for restaurant week. The ambiance was beautiful with the waterfalls and pond. We were seated right away and our server immediately came over. After each course was delivered he came by to describe the dish in detail. The food was delicious and I basically licked my plate clean! So why the missing star then? 1. The food, although delicious, was not as described on the menu. I got the salmon and there was no shrimp or any stuffing. My friends got the seafood risotto and there were no pieces of calamari in either of their dishes. 2. The parking- I parked in the outdoor lot and the walk to the restaurant doesn't have a pathway so you're walking on the tree lined, one car narrow path. At night there were cars zipping through and I was afraid I was going to get hit. Definitely park in the garage and not the outdoor area.
