Says they close at 8, i arrived at 7:01. I came in to get a simple nail soak off..,(didnt know they were in a rush to leave) they didn't even service me with a soak off. Instead, they pulled all of my nails off with a fake acrylic nail and nail clippers. They clipped my nails down so far that my nails started bleeding really bad during the process...all because they were in a rush to leave. Also, during this process they tried to "comfort" me by saying I should "come back and get a manicure and pedicure." $15 just for them to rip my nails off, which i could have done myself at home. This place is horrible! I got my nails done 2 days ago and my toe nail cracked the next day, and my fingernail cracked 2 days later. For my toe nail, the woman took previously gel polish off with the nail clipper! It totally cracked my toe nail! I have never had any issue with any of my toe nails, let alone my big toe. The woman said I had a bad nail, which was totally false. I get my nails done regularly and never had an issue. I did go back yesterday for them to fix it, and the woman tried to say it was my fault. The man finally came behind her and corrected it. He then said I'm not charging you, as if he was doing me a favor. And he corrected it with an attitude. I've been searching for a good nail salon for months in the Decatur area and this one was nice. I stumbled across them by their road sign in front of their plaza. The wait time wasn't too long, 30 minutes, but this showed me they may be good afterwards. I received a mani/pedi gel color and it wasn't too unreasonable, $50 total, which is what I expected to pay. Overall I think I will return especially since the nail tech servicing my mani gave me an option after telling her how I wanted to care for my natural long nails. read more

I rated this salon 4 stars because of my most recent experience. I've been here several times but the services are hit and miss. Sometimes I have great service other times its subpar. I stopped letting them assign a random person to attend to my needs. Going forward Anne is the only person I will allow to perform any type of manicure services on my nails. I went here because they offered SNS which I love. My first visit was ok. The employees were nice & the price was very reasonable; I was in & out with like an hr in a half. I got a deluxe pedi & SNS mani. I'm giving 3 stars because I wasn't really impressed with the pedi even though it was more than a basic one. I like my nails but I feel as though they could have been shaped a little better. They were getting busy towards the end of my visit & the guy (think he's the manager) quickly finished my nails & went to start on someone else's which is another reason I'm giving 3 stars. I didn't have time to wait & have him fix it so I will go back & update my review once I do! **update! I ended up not going back to have my nails fixed but I did want to update my review to say that they DID NOT use "SNS" on my nails. It was apparently some other kind of dip powder. The only reason I know this is because I went to my regular place to have SNS done & they pretty much CLOWNED me saying it was not SNS. It took forever for it to come off (with real SNS it soaks right off w/ acetone) & my tech just kept asking me what was it. Needless to say I will NOT be back here. If you know you don't have the real SNS system why lie to customers & tell them you do! Smh read more

2K nails is located in the Publix shopping center right behind Zaxby's. The staff is very professional and friendly. Although they are typically crowded on weekends I'm always in and out. Today I received a pedicure which you have 3 options the basic, not so basic, and deluxe. I chose the basic pedicure which was amazing. There is a large variety of nail colors to choose from and they are all quality brands of polish. This shop has Eco Jet Disposable Liners so if you notice the plastic in the foot tubs each one is changed out after every customer which gives you peace of mind. If you plan to get a manicure and a pedicure usually they have two people work on you at the same time while you are sitting in the pedicure chair so getting both doesn't mean you will have to be in the shop twice the amount of time. This is the best nail salon that I have been to on this side of town. read more

Today was a game changer. I arrived at my regular nail salon at 12:15pm. They open at 12pm. A few people were in the pedi station and some were getting manicures. The owner confirmed our SNS mani and regular pedi services and directed us to pedi chairs. While we waited I asked the owner for the SNS color pallet and he replied, "just sit there, I'll give it to you later!" And he passed by to toss a towel on my lap. They typically cover women wearing dresses with a towel. For modesty sake, I guess. But the way it was tossed on me was not received well. I placed the towel on the cart next to my chair. Later a woman tech came and gently gave me another towel, which she placed on my lap. Our service did not begin until 1:15 and was completed at 2:30pm. There were a few annoying factors today. 0. The male tech doing my pedi kept holding my feet high as if they were detached from my leg. He also squeeze my toes as he was painting them. Maybe he's just doesn't know his own strength. 0. When the nail tech finished my nails she made a dismissive motion with her hand. I asked if she meant that I should go wash my hand and she replied, "you go!" Another customer was watching and she just shook her head. 0. Soaking my nails in the polish remover for so long got residual polish on my fingers. Even after doing my SNS mani I pointed this out to the nail tech and she told just wash. Washing didn't remove it and because I expressed displeasure to my daughter, who was with me, another nail tech came over to try to get it off with polish remover. But as she was rubbing the excess polish off she ridiculed me asking how I did that.. really. Needless to say, after many years going to this shop.. we are looking for another shop to take our business to. While we were there a few people left due to the long wait. Sadly, today was an eye opener. read more

I'm so done with this place after today. At one point i felt it was so cozy and cute but I was only getting a pedicure. As soon as I started getting my nails done the mess started. Every time I go I'm quoted a different price but today was the icing on the cake. I was charged $47 for this. Mind you i took this photo in the salon. Baby there's glue And dust all over these things. My friends noticed it too so we've been getting our nails done somewhere else. Today I just had to in a rush to drop off a friend. And got this mess. Arrive here at 7pm. They close at 8pm. Wanted to get a pedicure done so the lady asked me what I wanted to get done and I told her and she told me to have a seat in the spa chair. They ran water. I stuck my feet in the water wait about five minutes and then the lady said what color you want I said I want white she said you gonna do gel polish I said no I'm not doing gel polish I just want regular polish you charge $15 more for jewel polish and I think that's too much so she started speaking that gibberish to a coworker send a coworker say you not want your polish and I said no I don't want Jill polish then she says to me well we get ready to close we're closing now so we cannot do your pedicure., to make a long story short they did not want to do my pedicure because I did not want to get gel polish. I told the lady this was my first visit and my last visit I would not be back. She says you can come back tomorrow. I'm sorry you can come back tomorrow. I said no this is my first visit and my last visit. I would not be back you refusing my service because I didn't want to get gel polish. We don't have time we close at eight. By this time it's exactly 7:12pm. I said, ma'am you let me come inside take off my shoes and socks ran water for me to place my feed and to get prepared for my pedicure and because I'm not getting gel polish. Went In today for a SNS fill, got seated right away and the lady was rushing thru my nails. I had tips prior to coming here and she kept hurting my actual nail several times poking the inside of them. I didn't even get a chance to even look at colors. When she put my new tips on she didn't even bother to ask how long or short I wanted them she just started cutting them. I was like uh I don't like these, they are too short and she looks at me and goes ugh and was like ok I can add on. She was rushing so bad. Very messy job. And just horrible. This place is AWFUL especially the owners wife. She is rude and very nasty..... The white jacket she had on was filthy with coffee stains, nail polish...etc on it. I saw her take things out of the trash and put in a drawer to use on another client. While doing my nails, she cut my cuticles and was very rough (and I told her to stop and that it hurt). Worst experience!! I come in for a take off and pedicure. He cut down my toe nails way too short, I told him this isn't okay and he will now have to build the nail with acrylic for my big toes. He asked for 10$ extra. I expressed to the manager how I was displeased and the manager dismissed my frustration. A simple apology would have done. He squinted at my nails with his glasses and said they look fine to me. My response: I need to like them. Also for my take off she gave me a bowl of super cold acetone that I could not bare (all the employees have on sweaters, coats and hat) I even have to keep my scarf and jacket on bc it's a little cold in here. I kept them in for about 10 minutes until I just couldn't take it anymore. The lady proceeded to tell me what she couldn't do and began speaking to the other employees in their native language, making me feel very uncomfortable. She took the bowl and walked off. I won't be returning... came because they offer sns. I usually request the same guy but he did horrible the last time I went. He tried to cut time short by filing down my sns and keeping my old tips instead of soaking it off and putting on a new set of tips and STILL CHARGED ME FOR TIPS. Not acceptable. He didn't even file all of the sns off. The previous color remained on my nails which was a bright orange color. He attempted to put the old sns color on top and I had to tell him to continue to file it down and even then he still left some of the last nail on. Every single time I asked him to do something over or the correct way, he acted as if he didn't understand English. I don't think any of them do which is not okay. He cut the hell out of my cuticle with the filing tool and did my middle finger too short. I will not be returning. Every time I go get my toes done it never lasts. Several times we would confirm and agree on style, length, shape of nails, and price before starting however, nail technician would try to change anything they don't deem worth finishing that will take a small amount of effort in the middle of the job...of course without changing/lowering price. read more

I go to this place because it is close to my home. Pedicures are medicore at best and consistency of. Service is subjective. Today though not only did my technician find cut my toenail on a SLAT but then proceeded to get an attitude about correcting her mistake. Then she proceeded to speak Vietnamese. In relation to my service. I cut my visit short and left. She was rude to my guest that I also brought to rhe salon. Speaking another language doesnt excuse rudeness. So I go in today for a pedicure, there were NO customers getting pedicures. They were ready for me as soon as I finished selecting my color. I sit down in the pedicure chair, put my feet in the water,and the guy who was going to do my pedicure has me select which type of pedicure I would like. So I decide, and he goes to gather his utensils to do my pedicure. While he is doing that another customer walks in asking for a pedicure...mind you the guy who was about to start on me is the only one doing pedicures at the time. So one of the other technicians asks "you want him to do it" (meaning the person who was going to do mine) and the customer replies...sure if he is available...they say something to him in their language, he looks at me and says "sorry",picks his things up and walks over to another chair for the customer who came in after me and begins her pedicure leaving me to just sit with my feet in the water. I politely take my feet out of the water, put my flip flops back on and leave...while im getting my things to leave they tell me not to leave bc another employee is next door at Publix and she will be right back. That was rude as hell...ive actually been a customer here for a few years...I will NEVER be coming back here again read more

HORRIBLE experience. I waited with my feet in lukewarm water for one hour. Male nail tech did not take sanitized tools from the UV tray, nor did he pour alcohol over the tools until I asked. He made sure to wear rubber gloves to protect himself but made no effort to protect the customer. I only saw one nail tech (young woman) take tools from UV tray the entire time. No one speaks nor understands English until it is time to offer additional services. I stopped going to this salon a year ago and now drive across town to the Virginia Highlands for nail service. I was pressed for time today and thought that I would give them a second chance. I pray that the Department of Health pays them a visit, particularly on a Saturday. read more
