We also talked through the pros and cons of Sebo, Miele, Dyson, and a few others he had in the shop. I never felt pressured at all. I debated between repairing the Miele or buying a new Sebo and ultimately chose a mid-range Sebo with dual HEPA filters, a bacteria filter, and a hardwood floor attachment. Gabe even included a full filter kit with 8 vacuum bags (about $95 value) in exchange for my old Miele--enough to last me nearly two years! I had researched Sebo before I came, and I think it offers strong, reliable quality and made in Germany design and parts. With the hardwood floor attachment, the price was a good value as well since the store offered an extended 10 year warranty. Gabe is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, funny, and genuinely kind. It's rare to find service like this anymore. I highly recommend bringing your broken vacuum or sewing machine here--you'll be in excellent hands.

Take note - they are not an authorized service/repair center for Miele, they do not sell Miele vacuums or parts/accessories and they do not tell you that unless you ask; instead, they sell you grossly overpriced replacement accessories from another German manufacturer which you can find much less expensively online, even at full retail. And for that matter, you can purchase Miele products online. Be smart - read the other negative reviews and believe them...similar things happened to me and could happen to you. I wish I had read the reviews before dealing with them and learning the hard way. Steer clear - save yourself significant money and aggravation and go elsewhere for honest service, repairs, and vacuum purchases.

Called up Tri-State, and the guy on the phone asked if I was sure that's what I want, because the 1-3" is bigger than it used to be, and customers are complaining. I tried to wrap my head around that and decided to pay another visit in-person. I felt super confident this time: I knew where to park, I knew to get tags from the extremely patient man in the booth, and I had the price list ready to go on my phone. The biggest issue is that I want all the stones. I recently saw a Zillow listing for a wild house where the previous owner had made a stone canyon in the back yard, and I thought, that's me. Give me a few years. My eye was drawn to some gorgeous golden-hued stone that turned out to be Golden Creek Veneer. It was a bit out of my price range, and I was proud of myself for refraining, because I really only needed the river stone and a few more medium-sized boulders. I gazed longingly at the quartz, and finally settled on two pallets of different kinds of boulders and, as a treat to myself, a circular container of Bull Run Veneer, which is pretty nigh irresistible. I asked if delivery could happen that weekend, and checkout guy said there was a slim possibility, but probably the next week. The next day was unusually hectic, and I was shocked to get a call from the truck driver that he was on his way. I mean, great, but... there was a road crew practically in front of my house with half the street blocked off, and I had to get to a client within the hour. Delivery arrives. To his credit, the driver tried several possible ways to deliver my stone, but my driveway is what used to be an ordinary size and is now narrow compared to everything else in America, the electric cable hangs dangerously low, and I didn't want to sacrifice my freshly-planted butterfly garden. The driver asked me if I had requested the nifty three-wheeled forklift, and since I am only slowly gaining expertise in this area, I had assumed if they brought it the first time, it would reappear. I waved goodbye to that driver and getting my project done on the weekend. Lo and behold, I get another call later the same day, and it's the super awesome driver who came with the magical forklift last time! Luckily, I was back from my client. The driver placed the four pallets in my driveway absolutely perfectly. You have to admire those skills! He said they'd read my review, and I quickly ran back into the house and locked the door. The project is set to be completed today, and I can't wait to plant more flowers around it. I have no idea what to do with the leftover pallets. If anyone wants them, they're yours. I gained a level in quarry XP, so I can now start a consulting business as a quarry-midwife to other homeowners.

Edit: I did speak to someone, but it took three different tries. Responding directly to the email to coordinate times led to a real person, not a bot. They apologized and made sure to have someone there the same day. The wood was stacked as requested, although I did have to request they pass on the exact location to stack it since I wasn't going to be home. That's important because the email says "no need to be home, we will take care of it." Not sure how since the order form doesn't ask for a location to stack the wood. I don't enjoy giving bad reviews. I think they worked to make it right, but I still see some flaws in the system. 3 stars.

Great customer service,…read more A two yr old front door lock set failed. Elizabeth at Push Pull diagnosed the problem using photographs we emailed to her. We tried one easy solution that didn't work. Then, Elizabeth ordered a replacement (at no charge to us) that was delivered in less than two weeks. We were able to install the part ourselves after one more visit to the shop for Elizabeth to reset the door handle to fit our door....changing the orientation from left to right. We are fortunate that we live only three miles from the store. Although, I am sure that we would receive the same great service if we had to ship the lock back and forth.
