Eyelash review: Kim did my cluster lashes and she did an excellent job. No weird white tape needed, No smells from glue, No unnecessary eye watering, she had the right tools to do her job. My cluster lashes looked seamless and natural. She also did and eye brow wax that was good. I came in on their one year anniversary and I 20% off my lashes!! (Reg $35). This is by far the worse business (let alone nail salon) that I have ever been associated with. Because it is close to my home I have tried them on three occasions. They are incompetent in what they do (their manicures and pedicures at best might last a few days, no one speaks English which makes communication very difficult, and they could simply care less about customer service. On my second manicure the man that did my nails had filthy hands and fingernails. I immediately came home and sterilized my hands. A spa? Are you kidding me? In spite of Jade Nails Brookhaven's most recent reviews I decided to try a mani/pedi today. The salon is about 5 minutes from my home. The salon is clean and I like that the pedi bowls are lined with plastic for each customer, and tools are sanitized, in a bag, opened in front of the customer. MeMe gave me my pedicure. She did not introduce herself, not even a Hi. I ask her name and introduced myself. I let her know it was my first visit and I was looking for a new nail salon. No response. When I let her know she was bending my foot, she grunted and bent it again. I suggested she move the seat of the chair or the back. She did not look happy about my request, but got up and located the remote buttons. Still uncomfortable, but dealt with it. Vee gave me my manicure. She didn't greet me, but responded and smiled when I introduced myself. Vee did a good job on my nails. I complimented her on the pressure of the hand and arm massage and she smiled. By the time Vee finished my nails MeMe had moved on to another customer. I gave Vee a tip and asked if MeMe would be returning. I gave Meme's tip to Vee, and asked her to give it to MeMe. Vee thanked me and I watched as she brought MeMe her tip. I waited the normal 10 minutes for my nails to dry and looked around. Meme never returned to say thank you for the tip or remove the paper wrapping between my toes or help me with my sandals. Meme had finished her other client quickly, a cute little girl about 5 years old. Thank you Tom, the tech doing a pedi on the woman next to me, for noticing my confusion. Was Meme returning ? Tom checked my nails for dryness and helped with my sandals. If I return I'll request Tom and Vee. Three Stars for cleanliness and Vee and Tom. Not sure if I will return. read more

I am really giving one specific person 5 stars- Denise. She does my SNS at Jade and is wonderful. Not only sweet but my nails last 3+ weeks (really just until they are grown out, they never break). Prior to finding her, I rotated through a few others who were not nearly as skilled or particular about how they did. Pedicures are typically average, they do a pretty good job but I feel like that is hard to mess up. Once again, if you come to Jade, call ahead and ask for Denise and you won't be disappointed! read more

Literally a painful experience. The tech I had was an older lady and she was nice at first, but once I refused all the services she tried to upsell, she became super rude. She filed my nails pretty aggressively and the skin around one of them is now red and painful. She kept complaining that my nails were "too short and soft" and the color wasn't going to turn out well unless I did the dipping powder, which I would've done if she hadn't been so rude/whiny about it. Oh, and she clearly was talking about me to the other techs because they all kept looking over. She's lucky I even tipped her. Only did it because I still have class. My co-workers and I were looking for a new nail place and I'll be sure to tell them of this experience. Never going back. read more

I came in to get my nails done, in ombre. Also a pedicure. I paid $80 for both. Pretty expensive, but I was happy with how my nails looked. 2 weeks later, one of my nails break. Right in half. So I went in to get it fixed and do a fill since my nails kept catching on my hair. I was then informed that they don't do fills on ombre nails (because it doesn't look good) I said I've had ombre before and they were able to fill them fine. They refused to do it. Saying I would have to take off my BRAND new set and start over. I was so angry, I just said whatever do what you have to. So they took off my nails, replaced them with acrylic. I just did gel polish at this point. Apparently they couldn't paint over my ombre. Which is crazy!!!! My nails look horrible! Super thick, the acrylic is on the inside of my nails as well. I've been getting my nails done for 15 years and this was the worst! On top of all of that. They charged my another $55 to do my nails. So in 2 weeks, I spent $135 . I'm just very upset. Left this place with several bleeding cuticles. Two of my gel nails started peeling off within several days.

I was invited to an event last minute and needed a quick French polish. I usually get gel, but already had a spa appointment for the following week. I pulled into a place close to Jade, was greeted, and then waited for 10 minutes before walking out. I then pulled into Jade (having never been there before). I was extremely impressed by the customer service. I was greeted with a smile, hello, how are you, etc. Kim did a wonderful job with the French polish. She was pleasant and sweet to talk with. While my nails were drying, I was approached by Jenny who asked how my experience had been. She was also extremely nice and caring. I felt well taken care of and quite pampered! The salon is clean, very open, high tech, and also has a cute room for children's nail parties! I highly recommend Jade for the customer service, salon, services, and overall experience! Everyone is so friendly and Jennifer and Tim are amazing and really listen exactly what you want. Their products are all natural and they offer a ton of different services. Jade Nails is nicely decorated and quite spacious, but they are a hot mess! This is the second time in a row they have over-charged me for a service. The only remediation they offered this time was a $5.00 off coupon for my next service. This is unacceptable especially since I will not be returning. I almost never leave negative reviews on Yelp, but I am seriously disappointed with the service level offered at this salon. The last several visits they have completed my manicure/pedicure before even starting my daughters service (in favor of helping customers who have come after us) meaning we are there twice as long.
