Stay away! Their design person outright lied to us! When we met with the designer, we wanted to keep the original substantial cornices and he said that if in the future we want to get new cornices, you could donate them to a local thrift store. When the installers arrived to install the solar and room darkening shades, they said we had to get new cornices. The new cornices (which we had to purchase) they installed, look and are cheap. The designer would not call us back when I tried to inquire as to why we needed new cornices to replace the existing and expensive cornices. When the installer tried to add the room darkening shades to the LR, the shades would not fit so they had to order new brackets. The company blamed me for ordering the wrong brackets! Me! All I said was we wanted room darkening shades to go over the existing solar shades that THEY already installed! I had no idea what kind of brackets would be or should be used. After months of trying to resolve this, they ordered brackets. Finally, the brackets arrived. We coordinated an install date but when they tried to install them, they were the wrong brackets. I left three calls with customer service and they have not called me back. As of now, we still don't have brackets! The cornice has been sitting in the garage for 4 months because we don't have the correct brackets. This process started in July 2025, it is now December, 2025 and still no update! I left yet another message for customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! UPDATE: there was a stain on a shade they discovered when they were installing it. So, they had to order another one. DO NOT USE. I'm now on month 6 and still my project is not complete for sheer curtains in 2 rooms. HORRIBLE Process. My project has had seven attempts to simply install 1 track curtains. Each time parts were missing, product was incorrect - re-order needed. I'm just getting curtains - I can't imagine ordering custom blinds. We've spent a lot of money for new blinds but after months of correspondence (started in June), our blinds are still not installed correctly. This is only the latest problem - one of the blinds were ordered with incorrect dimensions, incorrect valences were ordered, some of the valences were too small for the roller blinds and caused scratches from the brackets rubbing on the blinds. This company seems great but they don't stand behind any of their promises. I would think twice about using them. I will never use them again. after spending twenty thousand dollars for blinds and instillation they have no interest in assisting the customer with their product. once you've paid they won't give you the time of day to answer or assist with any problems. their blinds are good quality but trust me you are going to pay top dollar for them. so they better be but their customer service is very poor. if you want good blinds I would try the competition I've heard they have better customer service. on my third property I plan on using the company that's been in the desert for over 20 years and stand behind their product. 3 day blinds has been a head ache that I don't need in my life. Run from this company. They have sent the wrong sizes SIX times for installation since April...let me say that again. SIX TIMES! They are completely unprofessional. While 3 Day has a national presence, local contractors do the "design" and the installation. "Can't Top Us" in LaQuinta is the company installs and also sub-contracts with other "brand names." Either way, run for the hills if "Garrett" (aka Thomas Garrett Contopulos) comes your way. After two years of the blinds not being designed/installed correctly, 3 Day agreed to return and fix the job. Garrett had been the installer from the beginning. He should have identified the defect long ago: vertical blinds installed to close to the metal tracks of and the handle of the sliding glass door: they get caught and then blinds ("veins" in the trade) crash to the floor. It took me to define the problem - which does not require an advanced degree in window design. But finally, 3 Day agreed to fix. And here comes Garrett - again. When requested to put on a mask (I have severe medical issues, doctors have ordered me to stay out of enclosed spaces unless everyone is masked), he refused and before I could stop him, started to remove all the shades/veins from the window. Among his comments as he pulled everything off: he has COPD so is "uncomfortable" wearing a mask, he hasn't been sick in years, in response to me explaining a person can be ok but still carry/transmit disease "so can your dog!", and he has not had any vaccinations. Had my slider not been bare at that point - with him threatening to leave (and "it will be months before anyone can get scheduled to come back"), I would have insisted he leave. Had he not already been pulling "veins" off the window so fast, I would have asked him to leave and would have waited as long as it takes to get someone else back here. A defective job/installation with multiple mistakes over two years is bad enough. Putting a customer at risk: Unacceptable: there simply are not any excuses. read more

Alert to all, this is NOT the company to use. The name 3 day should be altered to 100+ day! We ordered our blinds ($11,000) in November 2022. When time came to install the blinds about a month later (30 days) , the measurement came up way short and the gaps were too large. After trying to reach Kerry Bedwell ( can't be trusted) about 20 times I had no choice but to contact corporate head office for help. After numerous attempts they finally got it right and my 3 day Blinds were delivered on April 6th,2023, and that's the truth. I wouldn't recommend this company to my enemies let alone my friends. After my blinds were installed at my Palm Springs, CA condo,I discovered that they had the incorrect "draw" -- to the left instead of right, which the salesperson had specified in the work order. I had to leave just after the installer (he arrived two hours early) because my dog had a vaccine appointment, so I wasn't able to discuss this problem with him. I had been very happy with the right-draw plan and was very disappointed when my blinds were not made correctly and drew from the left. I called the number noted on my invoice and the customer service rep told me it would take at least two weeks to get new blinds. Since I was soon to leave for a couple of months, I decided to wait until I returned. I then completed a survey from 3 Day Blinds, noting the left-draw problem. I had also notified the saleswoman of this in an email not long after the installation. To date, I have not heard a peep from anyone at 3 Day Blinds. Since my order was incorrectly fulfilled, I would expect a call or email apology from the saleswoman or other company representative. But apparently there's no follow-up to their surveys. The shutters I ordered for my client were finished by the time thry said; however the sales person was difficult and had lots of attitude. Once we placed the order, he didn't get back to us until I called customer service. The installers worked hard- long hours 4 rooms of shutters. But the boss who owns the installation company ( not 3 day blinds) did not measure properly, so they had to rebuild some french door shutters. There were additional holes left over on the new flooring and door trims. I cslled 3 Day and they said they weren't responsible for installtion issues !? The installer never called us back, nor fixed it. I had to have other guys in to fix it all- including re staining areas where the scratched the ginishes. 3 Day would not even provide the finish stains This was a 17k job and no customer service. If i could give zero stars i would. Run, run, run. I don't know how this joke of a company stays in business. Their products are beyond overpriced, the customer service is non existent, the sales rep (Kerry Bedwell) was MIA the minute he walked out of my home with a fat check in his hand. He measured the valance incorrectly, I constantly had to follow up to check on the order and FOUR MONTHS LATER I still do not have all of my order. The four shades that did get installed took three months, look terrible, are already shredding on the bottom and the sides and DON'T WORK!! The installer arrived today for the THIRD time and the valance was again the wrong size and broken. Every time I reach out to Kerry he either doesn't get back to me at all, makes an excuse and always refers me to customer service. He does nothing and NEVER follows up. I caught on to them after waiting for 8 weeks (3 Days HaHa) and went on-line and ordered beautiful, high quality shades for 1/4 of the cost. I ordered shades 2 years ago and the chain broke. This was an issue since they are in a vacation rental so it had to be addressed ASAP. He left a mess on the floor and didn't bother to clean up, he marked a newly painted wall and told us the bottom of the blind that partially came out of the rail couldn't be fixed and we could order a new blind. First, I will give my sales person, Kerry Bedwell FIVE STARS!!!!! He was great, personable, honest, up front and a pleasure to deal with. Second, the installer (I apologize for forgetting his name) was excellent. Prompt, professional, fast. Here is the rub...they lost one blind, and that is where the nightmare began. It has been 19 days. 10 phone calls and 5 hours of 'hold' time. The same story with different problems from 10 different customer service reps. Rude treatment. I am on hold now for the 11th time (over 45 minutes now) trying to get a supervisor. I just want this done and them out of my house. Feel free to use this company if you feel lucky that sales and initial install will be 100% perfect. Because if they lose a blind, you will spend the next several weeks on hold for hours with no callback and no recourse. All you will get is anger and frustration. March 18 - order placed April - install scheduled for between 10-11; at 11 I called for an ETA, but installer did not even have product; I got customer service involved April 2 - installer called to say they would be at my place in 15 minutes, but they had no appointment and I was not home April 16 - first install completed with a 1-inch gap April 18 - installer returned to remeasure; Customer service said they would expedite re-manufacture, but could not guarantee expedited shipping May 1 - no word from customer service; I emailed for status, but as of morning of May 2 she did not know May 2 - I asked order be escalated to a manager May 6 - Notified order had shipped on May 3 May 6 - Installer said they had received order and wanted to schedule install; they actually only had the new brackets (for a pick and ship it took 2 weeks?) May 9 - Blinds re-installed, but short one blind and the order included a whole new valance EXACTLY the same as the previous one May 13 - Blinds finally installed 8 weeks after initial order from a company called 3 Day Blinds, which implies they will be installed and ready to use in 3 days, not EIGHT weeks later. What a great experience this was! From the moment I initially booked my appointment including the one or two adjustments I had to make to it until the moment meant the installers left this was a seamless and painless experience that exceeded my expectations. From the minute our design consultant Angela Howe arrived (on time, I must note) her design eye and service were outstanding. She sized up our needs and made design suggestions that were both thoughtful and done quickly. She also did not push for additional windows that I decided to leave as is for now which I appreciated. Nothing is more annoying than a sales person who oversells. Angela is on her game and her expertise has made our home more beautiful. I also must praise the installer Ashley and her assistant who got the blinds installed quickly and professionally four short days after they were ordered. The price was fair given the scope of the job (7 floor to ceiling windows) especially once a 20% coupon was applied and the speed with which the custom blinds were ordered and installed. I will return to 3 Day Blinds whenever I have chance to update my remaining windows. I highly recommend this company. read more

So the saga continues with 3 Day Hell - I mean Blinds. I ordered blinds from a local Palm Desert company, Blinds and Design. They're gorgeous and cost under $1,000 as opposed to 3 days $2,200. Before my new blinds were up, the ones from 3Day started to unravel. In the meantime I got a call from a representative of 3Day wanting to talk about my Yelp review. He said he would see what he could do for me. Today he called and told me that his company will not give me a dime back. So this senior citizen who saved for several years to buy new blinds is out the over 2 grand, (I have to think of it as I was walking down the street with a briefcase full of money and got mugged) but I'm happy with the ones I got a Blinds and Design. 3Day is another greedy corporation who doesn't give a good goddamn about their customers, nor did they care that I would tell everyone who will listen not to use them. I originally contacted this company the end of May and if everything had gone well, I would have gotten my new shades within a week. However, things went very wrong. I didn't get everything resolved until mid July. Kerry, the designer mismeasured one window, but refused to acknowledge this. Well, he was the one with the measuring tape, so who else mismeasured? He recommended some sun/light filtering shades for my living room. Well, you could see everything at night--including reading the captions on my TV! Kerry later said he told me you would be able to see silhouettes--not true; he didn't say that and you could see the color and logo on my T-shirt, TV captions, identify the cats--not just a cat silhouette. So the company agreed to replace those shades and gave me a case manager, Crystal, who was a joke. She didn't communicate for long stretches of time, did no follow up, etc. When I would finally call her, she said she'd been sick. Too sick to respond to multiple texts? Finally they sent Kerry back, but he did not put in the reorder before he left on a two or three week vacation. Crystal had no idea this was happening because she never followed up with him. I finally had enough and asked to deal with someone above Crystal. Sabrina was a joy to work with and finally fixed things. I would never use this company again, though. read more

The in-house service is great. The rep came to the house with all her samples and we got just what we needed. It wasn't cheap but we did order for 10 windows and doors. Installation was quick and easy. They even came back and installed the one in the room that wasn't ready (carpet was late). Then the problems began. One came off the window, 2 others have had parts broken. The wands that we paid $50 each extra for are so poorly attached that I constantly have to go around and tighten the clips with a pliers because they bend so easily. Very poor quality products. However, their customer service every time I called was fantastic and responsive. Now if they had quality products that matched that great service we'd be happy. read more

Blindsided by "3 Day Late Blinds" GREED!. My wife and I have a vacation home in Palm Springs and made a special trip back to Palm Spring from Seattle for the installation of the blinds we had ordered 14 days earlier. We were promised the blinds would be installed 6-19 and arranged our flights accordingly. We arrived in Palm Springs on 6-18 planning to return to Seattle on 6-22. We called 3 Day Blinds on 6-18 because we hadn't heard anything about our install. We were told that our blinds hadn't shipped and the new install date would be 6-23. We rescheduled our flight to Seattle and kept our rental car for an extra two days incurring over $800.00 in expenses. I asked for a 10% discount to help cover my expenses due to the delay. I was told that was just part of doing business. Things sometimes are late. Blinds like mine are typically marked up at least 100% or more. On my $7000 order 3 Day Blinds made at least a $3500.00 profit. I thought asking for a 10% break, which most contractors and designers get to help cover my expenses was reasonable. 3 Day Blinds didn't. It wasn't our fault the blinds were late, but 3 Day Blinds showed no compassion, or for that matter, common business sense. BTW We love the blinds and the installer was fantastic. read more
