Seven years ago, when we moved into our home, I contacted Three Day Blinds and was connected with the local franchise owner, Bill. He was a pleasant gentleman who provided thoughtful recommendations, and the entire experience went smoothly. A few years later, one of the blinds malfunctioned. When I called for service, I was transferred to Kelly, who I believe was Bill's daughter and had taken over the business. During our conversation, I heard at length about the challenges she was facing with COVID and family obligations. Eventually, Bill himself came out and repaired the blind, and the issue was resolved. Fast forward to two weeks ago. Another blind broke, and I called the toll-free number seeking assistance. I was told Kelly would contact me within 24 to 48 hours. Unfortunately, that call never came. What makes this particularly disappointing is that my call was not only about a broken blind. I was also interested in upgrading our home with wood shutters and Roman shades throughout the house, representing a significant new project. Without a return call, there was never an opportunity to discuss my needs or the scope of the work. As a result, I have now signed a contract with another company whose customer service has been exceptional from the start. Kelly, thank you for not returning my call. Your lack of response ultimately led me to find a company that values customer communication and service. I will not be doing business with Three Day Blinds again. I do hope Bill is doing well and enjoying a well-deserved retirement. He was always professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. read more

Awful service, try and call them. They will put you on hold for 40 minutes, then come on and say they will transfer you to someone else and then you hold for another 30 or 40 minutes having to listen nonstop to elevator music. Avoid these clowns! read more

Had three day blinds in our home to give us an estimate on some window coverings. The in-home sales lady was pushy, mouthy, overly opinionated, and was dismissive of any concerns or objections. Very obvious this product is overpriced when discounts and one day rebates were offered without prompting. Clearly prices were over inflated to offer discounts to make one feel incentivized to close the sale on site. If that were the worst of it, then I would just have to own it, but then came installation day. The installers were here today for 45 minutes. The installation was shotty at best did not clean up after themselves and for the final look I might as well have ordered it online and done it myself. Haven't gone through the experience with three day blinds. I see no advantage in using them over a nameless faceless website and just ordering what I wanted and installing it myself. Pushy, mouthy sales, people installers who do not have any attention to detail and quality that is average as Home Depot. read more

Boy do I wish I had checked yelp for reviews before moving forward with 3 Day Blinds. Basically coming here in hopes that I get one of those responses from the "business owner" that Erin O. wrote about. I had shades put in 6 windows on July 28th. The installer pointed out a few issues with the product (including style of mount for one window not matching what was ordered and the bedroom windows not being room darkening as ordered.) He instructed me to contact the company as they would need to remake them....fast forward to today, we still have not had a single person out to the home to see for themselves, have sent multiple photos and emails to the customer support team only to have a voicemail left for me today that said 'my primary complaint' about the room darkening was really an issue of expectations and they are room darkening. May I remind you, if you're still reading, that the installer said they were wrong. And of course no phone number was left (besides the 800) to call them back. Beyond frustrated, multiple thousands of dollars wasted and feeling like there's no recourse. Maybe this review will get someone's attention...or at least make sure no one else makes this same, very costly mistake. Say no to 3 Day Blinds. read more

I wish I would have consulted on here first but I didn't and had the same experience with a terrible installer and they charged $375.50 for a 45 minute install. They were installed crooked and he wasn't going to fix them until I started asking why it would be acceptable to install them so poorly. Then he finally fixed them. And he was on the kitchen counter with his shoes on! When I contacted the company they said to take it up with the installing company? Even though 3 Day Blinds are the ones who took my money? And they still do not hang correctly. Horrible company and I will not recommend. I'm just glad I didn't have them do my entire house like I was planning to do. Oh, and They didn't have the cleats for the hanging strings so they are supposed to ship them directly to me so I can do that myself. I give up. I hired 3 day blinds back in August 2022. In October they were finally able to install and there were a handful of issues. Broken blinds upon delivery, the installer drilling holes for interior mount, when it was an exterior mount and not filling them, blackout blinds that didn't reach the window sill, poor fit, and a horrible app for the motorized blinds. They've come back and rebuilt several of the blinds three times to fix the issues, but they're still issues. I've worked with customer service several times and they're a pleasure to work with and say all the right things, but that's it. The installer company is rude and short. I don't want them in my house again. So I give up. 2 stars cause some of the blinds are good. But I would rather spend the extra $2,000 and hire a local company in Santa Rosa if I could do it again. read more

Do not use this company! They are non responsive to their product problems, and their service is even worse. They are very expensive and non responsive. We have been dealing with them for 3 months, after it took them a month to install, and we actually paid them $500 per blind, and 2 of the blinds were were only 3 feet wide. They make appointments and then call at the last minute to say they can't make it. They tell us they have replacements for the 2 blinds that won't go up more than half way, but then they call to tell me they don't have them. We are 4 months into this, and now I can't even get a hold of anyone to try to get my money back! WORST SERVICE EVER........PERIOD. read more

update on previous review. Customer support (apparently a Manager) told me to call police re: theft from installer. They said they would investigate internally but I have heard absolutely nothing. No follow up. Their installers are subcontractors and they would not give me verification that a background check was done, or how long this person worked for them. Nothing. I would not trust 3 Day Blinds for a second based on this experience. Happy to update this if they actually reach out with some indication that they care. read more

How many times does it take to get an installation done??? I've had 4 installation appointments and still my job isn't complete

We needed special sizing for our kitchen blinds since our window has a back splash that goes up vertically, about eight inches adjacent to the window frame. Some concern on our part about getting a good fit. Our estimator was spot on. We are satisfied with the quality of the blinds and the look of the valance. read more

Sales person was attentive and friendly. Product looks nice installed. The installation and scheduling is a nightmare. Poor customers service. Installation gaffes. Project was supposed to be completed in mid March of 2022, it's now mid June and still have yet to have the installation 100% complete. Already 3 visits out + 1 missed appointment when installation didn't show because of not having the correct parts. Still waiting for the final pieces to be installed. It wasn't a 3 day process, it has been well over 3 months. Sheer incompetence. So glad I didn't have them do the living room and when the new construction on the property is done they will be the 1st company I avoid for any window treatment. This company should change their name to 10 day blinds - for a premium price. Terrible service and blinds never arrived - they had emailed confirming order but had the wrong shipping address and then when I called them their response lacked any sense of urgency - hey their was a reason I ordered 3 day blinds. And then they lost the order and after 10 days I requested they cancel the order but they gave me such a hard time and said they wouldn't - but ultimately I got them to refund Do not recommend this company. read more

Not a good blind company to go with. We had our blinds installed in 2019, right away part that pull up the blinds came a part. We had called several times to get attention from the 3 Days blind company. Finally, a guy was sent and glued pieces together. Here we are less than 2 years, they are broken again. So I called to see if they may send someone to fix it. That is not the case. The company will send parts with, you need to pay shipping. That's life warranty for you. read more

Our experience with 3 Day Blinds Santa Rosa has been terrible. We hired them in November to provide us with two shades for our new home. At the time, we were told it would be 3 or 4 weeks before the installer would return with the shades. It is now mid May -- 6 months later -- and we still have no shades (although of course we have paid for them). When the installers finally arrived in March, they only brought 1 of the shades. They said that was all they had been given. We checked our order and it was definitely for 2 shades. We asked the installers to install the one shade that they had, and they said they were not allowed to install a partial order (they also noted that a part was missing anyway). We immediately called 3 Day Blinds to determine what had happened--no one ever picks up the phone -- we always get a recorded message. Even more distressing, they never call back! My husband finally reached the person who had measured the windows initially, and she promised to get to the bottom of this. However, she was not able to do so. When we finally reached 3 Day Blinds, they said that the second shade would arrive on May 6. Of course, it is now May 14 and we still have not heard from them (even though we have left more messages). I don't think I have ever had such a bad experience with a vendor. read more

If I could give this company minus stars I would. We started our 3 Day Blinds experience in January of 2019. It is finally complete in June 2020. So, 3 Day Blinds turned into 18 month Blinds.ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Every time the installation person came out to our house, the order was incorrect. Wrong size numerous times and once even the wrong color. The first installation person screwed the screws in our wood window frames causing the wood to crack. He couldn't understand why we would be upset. It appeared he had no installation experience. Really frustrating to deal with. I would have loved to cancel the order and just got our money back. Customer service is also lacking, really poor communication. Regret using then so much! They are a total waste of time, constantly having to set up another appointment to (hopefully) have the job finally completed. Go somewhere else. read more
