Delicious cake flavors and they allowed us to choose my maple pecan flavors and icing color. The food was delicious and I loved it

They are never open and never answer the phone. Sad because pictures are tempting. But sounds like bad management

Nata Belle's was definitely worth the try!…read more I grabbed three flavors: Sweet Potato Brownie, Peach Cobbler Pound Cake, and Oreo Pound Cake. First things first--the texture is EVERYTHING. Pillow-soft, incredibly moist, rich, and you can tell these recipes have been perfected. The quality is absolutely there. These desserts are definitely on the sweeter, more indulgent side, so for me this is a once-in-a-blue-moon treat--but when you want a real dessert, they deliver. This is not your little "I just need something sweet" cake. This is a luxury dessert. Surprisingly, my favorite was the Oreo Pound Cake, and I'm not even a big Oreo girl! The balance was perfect, and that's the one I'd come back and grab just for myself. The Peach Cobbler and Sweet Potato Brownie were both delicious too, just much richer. Great service, great quality, and clearly somebody knows exactly what they're doing in that kitchen. If you haven't tried Natty Belle's yet, I definitely recommend giving them a try.

I usually go for a thick pound cake with that crisp crust, but this soft, moist, melt-in-your-mouth goodness sitting in a bed of cream cheese icing?! Whew. It did what needed to be DONE. From the moment we walked in, the smell alone had me ready to order everything. And the owner? So kind, so welcoming, and really helped guide us to the best picks. Oh, and don't forget to sign the wall before you leave to mark your visit. Such a cute touch! 10/10, will absolutely be back

Every time we have come they have always been so nice and our drinks and ice cream are always delicious! My go to drink is the Carolina dirty soda, which is a cheerwine with vanilla and pineapple syrups, and coconut creamer. Absolutely 10/10 will always recommend. To switch it up I will also get the classic dirty soda, a Diet Coke with lime juice and coconut creamer, from time to time as well. Another 10/10. On our recent visit I also got an ice cream special they were doing for the month of June, Summer Camp Chaos. Toasted marshmallow ice cream with brownie pieces and graham crackers, topped with marshmallow and caramel drizzle. I did sub peanut butter drizzle for the caramel drizzle as a peanut butter lover and wow was it a game changer. This was such a good ice cream flavor for summer!

My wife and I split a margherita omelette, which I had never had this type of omelette, but my wife did on a previous visit, and it comes with a side of pancakes (3). She ordered a side of turkey sausage, and we both had coffee. So for this, we walked out full, and the food came before I got halfway on my first cup. I really enjoyed the roasted herb tomatoes and the basil; it was almost pizza-like, but that is not a bad thing. The pancakes were not that good according to my wife, but I didn't have the same opinion, and the coffee was just what I needed that rainy day.

I liked blueberry more because you could taste both the blueberry and lavendar, but my fiancé liked the lemonade one more. The sweet tart was just sugar. A bit too sickly sweet for us. The blood orange was okay. Tasted as you'd expect. The midtown was a classic but nothing special. The raspberry limeade was okay. You could taste the raspberry but not so much the limeade. Peach mojito tasted like a peach bellini, so that one was really good - my fiancé's favorite. He ordered the meat and cheese omelette with turkey sausage. It was a lot of meat, maybe even too much. It was more meat than egg. Then, the egg itself was lackluster. It wasn't fluffy either. Cheese was fine. Overall would not get again. But the pancakes were pretty good. It made up for the omelette. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Grits were loose in a good way. You could imagine warming them up later would be fine since they didn't start off so thick. The shrimp was okay. Overcooked but carried the whole dish to be better than it was without it. The bacon bits threw me off for some reason so didn't like that, and the cheese was fine. Overall, wouldn't order the entrees again but will be back for Friday $12 mimosa flight special and try something different to eat.

The high wooden bookshelves and designated reading tables give it literary cachet, but The Remedy leans more cozy than stuffy. There's plenty of seating inside and out, and this would be as good a place for a group as it would be for partaking solo. Part coffeeshop and part bar, The Remedy also offers baked goods, flatbreads and charcuterie alongside its coffees, teas, and cocktails. I passed on the food (it seemed overpriced), but the coffee left no room for complaint. I went with a marshmallow iced latte. It was prepared quickly, and it made for a smooth sip: not too sweet and no acidity. Winston-Salem has no shortage of places to grab a drink of the caffeinated or alcoholic varieties, but it's hard to beat the atmosphere that The Remedy has to offer.

I felt like I interrupted the gentlemen's conversation by trying to order and they were not very friendly. The veggie quiche was over $7 and kind of small. I was still hungry. It was good though. I'll add that I did not try the coffee (which apparently is a staple) There are so many OTHER breakfast and coffee spots in the city... I'll just say that.
