Came for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Not too busy as there were plenty of seats available. Restaurant had a cozy feel with more modern decor than I am used to for a Vietnamese restaurant. Our incredibly kind waiter explained the menu and gave us some of his favorite items. We decided to start off with some garlic fried chicken wings, and some crispy eggrolls. Both of which were absolutely delicious. For our mains, we decided to go with the Bun Cha and the chicken and beef entrée. The Bun Cha was decently done with tender grilled pork and fresh veggie accompaniments. Love this place! The food is incredible! The salad rolls with the peanut sauce are my favorite. I actually crave them so I try and stop by as much as I can. I had been missing my Vietnamese food so 3 Regions seemed like a good choice. We were greeted upon entry and invited to sit where we liked. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. As we were reviewing the menu, our waters arrived. We ordered #14 & 23; a grilled pork banh mi and grilled chicken vermicelli. More customers came in as we waited. The wait was short. A slight complaint was the orders did not arrive together. In my mind I think the main course should arrive together. The banh mi was well received. I felt the vermicelli was missing something. Just moved up to Cave Creek area and discovered this place was really close by. Being from California and going to restaurants in Phoenix and Asian District, it's hard to compare those types of Vietnamese restaurants to this one, so my rating will be based off my experience. The place is run by wonderful people who were very accommodating, nice and attentive, which is very different from your typical Viet place. It's a small little spot tucked away but seems to get plenty of business. Most importantly, the food tastes authentic. We tried the pho, vermacelli, taro boba and also their special which was pork belly with egg and rice which had a very familiar taste to thit kho. Although I have tried many pho places through my life, this is good and had a good clean taste. Considering the next pho place is a good 25 minutes away, it's nice to have an Asian place to eat up here in cave creek. The vermicelli dish was correctly constructed and tasted good as well. As for prices. It may be only slightly more than Phoenix/chandler, but again considering there's not another viet place for miles, the price makes sense. Overall it's a good place to visit, and since it's so close we will definitely be back. read more

Just moved into the area so had to explore the Vietnamese cuisine. The service was absolutely friendly. We ordered drinks (they do sell alcohol) but I wanted to assess the taro milk tea (good mixture, boba was qq). We ordered the weekend special (their version of Bo kho (braised pork, egg and rice) and their spring rolls. We also ordered the Pho Dac Biet and the Bun Dac Biet (came with pork, chicken and shrimp) which were also very tasty. Definitely filled up on a lot of good food! Was in need of some 'soup' & decided to get some Pho Sunday afternoon between NFL games! Found this cute place on YELP; close to home! Looking for a decent new Vietnamese restaurant to try, I found 3 Regions Vietnamese Kitchen with a 4.7 rating on Yelp--definitely worth a visit! I was especially excited to see they had Hainanese Chicken Rice on the menu. I remembered the deliciously seasoned rice and tender, smooth chicken from my trip to Singapore and hoped to find something similar here. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The rice lacked seasoning, and the chicken was tough and flavorless. On the bright side, the waiter was very friendly and attentive. So I'm Vietnamese so I can say the food is pretty good, 4 stars. But the time it takes to get served, to get the food made, even to go orders takes SO long, much longer than is normal. Just because of how long it takes to eat or get food ordered makes it impossible to go and eat. It happens every time I go in so for service I brought the rating down. read more

Mango salad with shrimp and delicious pho in broth base are the top reasons why we keep coming back. Staff members are very nice and friendly. My husband and I have been coming for close to a year. Every time we are more than pleased with the food and service. We are creatures of habit so we most always order the grilled pork vermicelli noodle bowl. We recently decided to try their appetizer salad rolls (I call spring rolls) and were not disappointed. We then asked for the noodle bowl to split between us. There was definitely enough for the two of us. It's not a large restaurant, nicely decorated and the staff is very accommodating. Last night, it was busy and we sat in the middle section which is normally fine, but the timing was such that even with the shade drawn, the sun was a bother. No problem, they happily moved us. I usually leave too many reviews. I've been coming to three regions since they open. I love the hot beef soup. They also have savory CREPE that amazing. There not your Normal crêpe. One of my kids was in town for a short visit. We are both huge fans of banh mi sandwiches, so we decided to order one to go. We also ordered the crispy tofu appetizer. We placed the to-go order at the restaurant and were satisfied with the relatively short wait to get our food. Banh Mi -- pretty good. The price was reasonable, but the sandwich was a little smaller than most other restaurants we've gotten them from. It was very good. Crispy Tofu -- not bad. We had been spoiled by having unbelievable crispy tofu at a Chinese restaurant in my former place of residence. Since I had a good experience getting the take out a few days ago, I decided to take a different child (both are adults, btw) who is a foodie and lover of Asian food, for dinner at the restaurant. Shaken Beef -- ordered by my son. It was really good. I tasted it myself, as it smelled and looked great. The portion size was appropriate. Saigon's Savory Crepes -- my order. I was expecting the crepes to look like eggrolls. I was surprised when I was served what looked like two huge crunchy gorditas! They were excellent. Passion Fruit Lemonade -- My son said it was very good Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Black Pearl Boba -- my drink. It was great. The service during both visits was friendly, timely, and wonderful. It is apparent that a lot of love goes into the food and service here. Recommendation: This restaurant definitely gets a thumbs up! Tasty food at reasonable prices. Excellent, friendly service. One of my best friends from high school was in town and ordered us up a delicious dinner. We had been wanting to try the local restaurant, but didn't know what to order. She is Vietnamese, so we took advantage of having her in town and had her order us her favorites. We now order dinner from 3 Regions on a regular basis! My husband's favorite is the Hue's spicy beef noodle soup. I love the Vietnamese crepe and the Banh Mi chicken sandwich dipped in fish sauce. The kids like the grilled chicken and rice. For an extra treat, the mango shrimp salad is so fresh and yummy. Learn from our mistake. Take chances on your local restaurants as you may find a new favorite! For being in cave creek, this pho restaurant is exceptional! Most of the pho spots that are good are down in mesa or phoenix so it's very convenient that this is so close by and still good quality. Quality over quantity. Oxtail Pho is a pure winner, broth is the real deal delicious with all the authentic ingredients with a delicious few pieces of ox tail. Highly recommend. #9. Saigon's Savory Crepes/Banh Xeo Saigon is another recommended dish where you can share or could be a dish by itself easy. Very crunchy for a Crepe, but delicious. Lemongrass has an awesome flavor and taste, another authentic dish. Had some friends come into town for the holidays. We used to be neighbors. They are so sweet. Not even knowing us, they would see us outside and randomly invite us to their son's graduation, holiday get togethers etc. She is Vietnamese and her husband is American. He loves her so much he used to gobble up her homemade spaghetti. When we came over to a dinner party there with a large group of their other friends. She made her famous spaghetti. One of the guests asked "What is this?" She replied "spaghetti!" Her friend told her that wasn't spaghetti. All these years she was putting ketchup on spaghetti noodles and he would eat it. He loves her so much. Though was appreciative, she was mad at him at the same time as she wished he would have told her before she fed it to a crowd of people. Ha ha Now you can see why we wanted to take them somewhere extra special! Such a wonderful couple. They are in their 80s now. I looked on Yelp and not many places had a high rating. We found 3 Regions on Yelp, and seeing the reviews, and yummy food photos, we prayed they would not disappoint. Jenna and my friend hit it off and they were chit chatting the whole time. Service was exceptional. The food was so good. Pho was so full of flavor, things like rolls and wings were hot. Fresh and crispy. Just like they should be. We weren't expecting it to be this good. I was in bean sprouts heaven. Everything was delicious and the service was so warm and heartfelt. They even had a special on the weekend where you could bring home a kit of some-sort to make at home. We went for a Thursday lunch and the place was packed. We could barely find a seating. We went right in and ordered a veggie pho and beef flank pho. I liked how you can customize the veggie pho with veggie broth and friend tofu. The order took a while, the place is small and the crowd didn't help either. We had to wait a good 20 mins for the order. I must admit the wait was worth it, I wasn't very sure on veggie pho but it was delicious, the broth, veggies were really good and had a nice flavor. My friend said the beef flank pho was good too. The price is reasonable but the service is slow with few people and it takes a good wait. Otherwise definitely going again for some pho. read more
