I only saw one sparkle color, so I asked if they had anymore glitters, and they did! I chose pink sparkle to match my purse and outfits I have been wearing lately. The whole process was so easy and quick, and the lady who did my nails was so nice. Towards the end of my appointment to my surprise, an employee from the coffee/ juice place next door came in and said they had extra drinks so I also got a free coffee! I paid first and tipped first before I got my nails done so that I didn't have to touch anything after and risk messing up the polish, but the gel dried so quickly I don't even think it was necessary to do that! read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a nail salon and it is very unfortunate. I called ahead and was told to come in at 6:15 PM. I arrived only about three minutes late, yet I ended up waiting nearly an hour before anyone started my service. Once I was finally attended to, I was immediately handed the color book and rushed to choose a color, making the entire experience feel stressful instead of relaxing. The service itself felt rushed from beginning to end, and unfortunately, the quality reflected that. I was charged $108, wasn't given a receipt, and left wondering what I had actually paid for. The final result did not meet my expectations. I understand that businesses get busy and that employees have schedules to keep. However, if there isn't enough time to provide proper service, it's better to be honest and say there is no availability rather than have a customer come in, wait for nearly an hour, and then feel pressured through the appointment. A trip to the nail salon should leave you feeling relaxed and happy. Instead, I left feeling stressed, rushed, and disappointed. I went to the university location in Irvine on 5/4/26 and got a full set gel x. By the end of the week (5/7/26), all my nails started lifting. No problem right, I go to the Costa Mesa location on 5/9/26 and tell them what happened. After talking to the manager, we agreed on: they would fix my right hand and I would pay $30 for a polish change. The nails that I got were WORSE than what I came in with (I came in with a French and left with a solid nude color). The nails are lumpy, bumpy, thick, the nail tech apparently decided to snip off half the pinky nail???? So now I have half a pinky. Honestly I hate these nails so much, I have had to come home and re file alll my nails myself. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself. I'm extremely dissatisfied and just frankly disappointed. I would like a resolution to this (withouttttt attitude or aggression from the manager this time) because now I have paid $130 in total for a nail set that is less than one week old and it looks terrible. read more

I honestly never write reviews, but this experience was so awful and disrespectful that I felt I had to. I had an appointment booked for 1:30 PM, and five minutes before my appointment, Katie, the receptionist, called to tell me the nail tech was running late and asked if I could move it to 2:00 PM. Even though it was incredibly last-minute, I tried to be understanding and rearranged my schedule. I drove around and came back at 2:00, only to be told again that she was still running late and asked if I could wait until 2:15. I said okay, giving them yet another chance. Then at 2:15, Katie came back and casually told me the tech was actually running another 30 minutes late. At that point, I was beyond disappointed. This wasn't just bad scheduling -- it was complete disregard for my time and incredibly inconsiderate. I had already gone out of my way twice to accommodate them, and on top of that, I had to arrange for someone else to pick up my children because I had planned my day around this appointment. To keep getting pushed back over and over with no honesty, real apology, or accountability was beyond frustrating. What upset me most was how casually this was handled, as if my time meant absolutely nothing. If you're going to run that far behind, be upfront and honest instead of repeatedly stringing clients along and disrupting their entire day. I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and honestly shocked by how unprofessional the entire situation was. If I could give this salon 10 stars, I would! It was the BEST! My daughter wanted to celebrate her 12th birthday by taking some of her friends to get their nails done. We are not from the area but we had lunch reservations at a restaurant in Irvine so we were looking around for nail salons that were near the restaurant that would be a fun place to take the girls. Most salons that I found were either fancy in a stuffy way, drab and boring, or WAY too expensive... and none of them had the vibe we were looking for to celebrate my daughter's big day. So we were SO excited when we found the 3 Thirty 3 Nail Bar (Secret Room) - it was absolutely FABULOUS! With a big group, I was trying to stay on budget, so I searched for days to find a place that would fit in our budget and the prices at this salon were the best I found in all of orange county, and on top of that, it was cute as can be inside - a perfect place for a party! The salon is decorated so beautifully with flower walls and a whimsical swing that provided perfect photo ops for the girls that they enjoyed for hours! The ladies that were working there were delightful! They were warm and welcoming from the minute we walked in the door (which was especially kind because we arrived a few minutes late). They had everything ready for us so we got started right away when we arrived. We knew that the girls would want to jazz up their polish with some cute little nail art designs, and the ladies were wonderful about accommodating all their special requests. The products they use at the salon are non-toxic so I was excited about that, knowing that I was taking my daughter and her friends. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place was - we honestly had the best time and I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a fun way to enjoy a little pampering, especially with a group of tweens. Can't go wrong with 3 Thirty 3! It is my go to nail salon now. I go to this location or to the one in Costa Mesa. I do prefer the Costa Mesa one sometimes because it is bigger and they have spa chairs. Ive been multiple of times to the different locations and have had different people do my nails. I've never had an issue and they were all great. I also love that they have lots of colors to pick from and have OPI. They have all my favorite colors especially funny bunny, bubble bath and so on. I really loved how much attention to detail the nail tech had while doing my pedicure. I ended up getting a French tip with gel on my toes. The service was pleasant which is nice to come by at nail salons because I don't actually go often so when I do treat myself it's nice to walk out feeling good and pampered. When I got to the shop I showed them and asked if they could do it and they did not disappoint! Fairly affordable for pedicure and gel manicure with design. Total was $65 and the quality is great. The shop is beautiful and relaxing. The staff are very quiet and didn't speak much (which is nice after a long day of work and not really wanting to talk anymore) , however, you are definitely going here to get your nails done and not to chat up a storm. No matter what tech you get, they all seem to be in a rush as if they are on a time limit. Gel x review... If I can save someone from feeling how I feel, I must. As a client who paid $70 I am extremely unhappy. I have my usual girl (at a different salon) who I go to to get my gel X nails done and she kills it! I decided to come here though because it's down the street from my house and unfortunately I very much regret it. Gel X nails are supposed to look smooth and clean because you are just applying a nail and putting gel polish over it. It's not acrylic where you're building the nail which is more susceptible to looking bumpy, if your technician doesn't know what they're doing of course... My nails look bumpy and not even that, they are crooked. There was quite a bit of steps that she did that I have never seen my other girl do but have seen someone who is doing an acrylic set do, which made me believe that she was new to this technique because she was going based off of what she knows doing acrylic nails. I could tell she was not experienced in gel X because she struggled with the whole process. My nails have extra nail polish at the tips which make them look bumpy and it's not smooth at all. My gel x usually last me 3 weeks and I honestly don't think I can look at these for that long. I want to cry because I just threw away $70. Do not waste your money here if gel X is what you want. This review is strictly for gel X. I have gotten pedicures here and they were amazing!!! read more
