Stopped at the 307 on my way through Columbus. Ended up being a good choice. It was Monday Afternoon so not busy at all. Sat at the bar and the bar tender talked to me right away made a beer recommendation that turned out great. I order the special that day. An open face hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. Was delicious. Nice thick piece if bread with a hearty serving of roast beef smothered in gravy. Mashed potatoes were real mashed potatoes. Still has some chunks in it which is how I love it. We have eaten here at least 20 times in 4 months and have always had great food!! The soups are AMAZING regardless of what soup!! The mud pie is ridiculously good! The Alfredo Steak meal, superb and chicken strips wonderful. The French dip is big enough for two, trust me! I'm not sure which is better, their amazing fries or homemade potato chips! I wanted a nice dinner out at end of vacation where I had done a lot of cooking. They are offering a limited menu right now, but still had enough options. My husband's chicken fried steak was slightly over cooked. Don't order the pizza. The sauce which had little to no flavor, cheese was NOT mozzarella (they used a yellow cheese, maybe a Mexican cheese blend?), and you could only order one size which was about $19. Salad and breads were great, and the teens seemed happy with the burgers. I left feeling like I had lost out (my choice had been the pizza), and had way overpaid for an unsatisfactory meal. The food here is a bit pricy but delicious. First of all the crab and shrimp wontons on the menu are actually giant egg rolls if that helps anyone out. If you get sweet potato fries I recommend getting the cinnamon dip win it. Burgers here are fantastic! Love this local place! We stayed in Columbus two days and ate here both days. We like to eat where locals eat and avoid chains so 307 looked like a good choice. First night I risked ordering the grilled fish tacos. They were deliciously prepared. My husband had a gigantic burger - cooked to med rare as requested - with bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce and he could barely finish it. He loved the clam chowder which was the soup of the day. Next night we opted for the chicken quesadilla and the BBQ pork sandwich with the best homemade chips ever! Both were great. This place is not fancy but the service snd the good were fantastic. Yeah, well, if you're passing through, keep going. We have eaten there a couple of times and the food is terrible. A previous Yelper stated it was the best chicken fried steak they'd ever had. It was a deep fried hamburger pattie, man! I can only assume this was your first meal inside the continental USA. The Asian salad advertises rice noodles. They're the chow mein crunchy canned noodles topped with Tyson frozen fried chicken breast, it's pretty gross. The hamburgers are airport quality at best. So far we've had 6 different menu items between three of us. You know, to give the place the benefit of the doubt. The verdict: If you must, like you are going to eat your own face if you don't get food, go with the taco salad, it's the most "ok" thing we've had between the three of us. The place stays pretty busy, but there isn't much to choose from in a small town, at least, until a soup kitchen opens. I suppose the owner won't change what they're doing if they'd making money off the locals with no other options. read more

After waiting for 45 minutes just to get our appetizer, we asked about how much longer our food would be, and were met with a "We're busy there were a bunch of people here before you". As the name implies, this is a typical Wyoming bar (307 area code) - even though it's in Montana. It's loud when the band plays; it's always busy; and the food and drink are good. I don't review often, but this small town friendly bar/grill/family restaurant does it VERY well. Food is home cooked great and the service is top notch. You can bring your family on Saturday night and not even know there is "a bar." Or hang out at the bar and watch sports on multiple big screens and enjoy an adult beverage. I've only scratched the surface on the menu personally, but everything I saw, smelled or witnessed being consumed was going down with vigor and enthusiasm! I'll be back for sure! read more

this place is a little expensive compared to some others in the area. However, they have a really good menu of your basic diner type foods. they have a full bar and the wait staff is generally pretty friendly. The food has been really good even despite the price. I have tried the hamburgers, the nachos, and the chicken strips. You can order jojos or regular French fries. They're both equally good. they have a good selection of wines and the bar is a full bar. the casino is kept off to the side in its own room. the seating is casual but is perhaps a bit more upscale than the other restaurants in Columbus. read more

my husband and I live by and go to the 307 often. Usually we have an alright experiance eating here but tonight it was not very good. The server we had was one we never had before so think that she may be new there. We first ordered drinks and when I ordered a double tall jack and pepsi I was brought a single short. I figured not a big deal it happens. Then when we ordered our food we asked for a side of Franks Red hot like we normally do and she told us they did not serve it. We asked her to check again and to no surprise, they had it. Our food came out and my burger I had ordered as medium rare came out medium well, and was missing all of the toppings it comes with. I was given a patty with cheese when it called for cheese, bacon caramelized onion and avocado. My husband burger also did not have all the toppings his is supposed to come with but it was not to the extent as mine. I HATE to send food back but I did on account it was not even close to what I had ordered. When we got our bill I was charged for a double on my drink when all I was served was a single, and was charged for each and every sauce we got. Being someone who's ate at the 307 many time I had never been charged for a sauce, so I do not know if they are usually supposed to but this was out of the ordinary for us. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the overall service we received dining here tonight. Our server was not very attentive and was not very familiar with the menu. It sucks when you go someplace you go to eat all the time and receive such terrible service. The server did not try very hard to fix the issues we had when they were brought up to her and gave us attitude when she brought out the Franks Red hot sauce and used the excuse that it was called "Reds hot sauce" so she didn't know what we were asking for, even though we asked for "Franks Red Hot Sauce" read more
