Well cocktail. I forgot the name.

I went to 30Hop Merriam location for happy hour on August 28th. We had a table for 6 and I'm glad we had reservations as the restaurant was busy. I ordered two appetizers: Dynamite Shrimp and Beer-ria egg rolls, which were delicious. I also had a well cocktail. I'm glad we had happy hour prices for the appetizers and drink. Our server was very attentive and kind. She checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was packed on a Friday night. It's in a nice location and I would go back again to try other items on their menu.

I've been to the Lee Summit location of this brewery a few times, and I miss it. This was my second visit. Both locations are in a great neighborhood, but be warned: parking is limited. It's always busy, so we had to park a bit and walk up to the brewery. But the location itself is beautiful. It's nicely situated between a shopping complex and a nice neighborhood with good apartments right across the 69 and 35 highway. There are so many beer options to try. I highly recommend their hazy IPA, which is on the menu. It was outstanding. Now, let's talk about the food. I loved the fish, blackened tacos. Their nachos were also super good. We ordered them with chicken and pork, and there were a bunch of other dishes we shared with friends. I didn't get to take pictures of them, but they were all delicious. I must mention the server who helped us. Her name was Shaian, and she was an outstanding person. She was incredibly patient and explained everything to us so patiently. She checked on us frequently to make sure we were taken care of. She even made changes to our food orders as we needed and refilled our drinks. I sometimes feel that restaurants run because of good servers like her. A huge shoutout to her!

Parking was awful! The menu had a decent amount of items. I got the Yakisoba Bowl and paid extra for chicken. It was good, but had too much sauce which made it a little salty. Loved all the ingredients and the presentation. This place is a little pricy. My friend got the 30hop burger and loved it. Service was okay. Not sure I'll be back.

I was intrigued by the Mike's Hot Honey Chicken sandwich, but concerned it would be too hot for me as my tastebuds have changed over the years, but I was definitely not disappointed! Enjoyed the flavor and no burned taste buds. I shared my spicy concern with Linely and he did a great job describing Mike's Hot Honey Chicken especially in comparison to Nashville Hot Chicken. He clearly described the sandwich perfectly. We also got the Monday Deal (and it's definitely a deal) $5.99 for a Classic Burger and side. It was a good size burger and plenty of fries. 30Hop is a place to take in sports on the many TVs or have space to catch up with friends or family if any size. Lonely said tonight is a slow night (Monday) and that Thursday - Sunday is very busy especially since they offer a weekend brunch. It's also busy at lunch with regulars. We are definitely interested in the opportunity to sit outside and not deal with traffic. Our enjoyable conversation with Lineky resulted in him hoping we would be back and chat with him again- maybe when we come back for 40hop's Tuesday Old Fashion night.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to 30Hop at Grand Station in Merriam, Kansas. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a vaulted ceiling, sports screens everywhere, and a friendly staff. They have an extensive beer list, and the fries were outrageously good. Now, there are few foods I love more than a crispy chicken sandwich -- especially one with kick to it! That's why I ordered the hot honey crispy chicken sandwich. It was a crispy, flavorful sandwich, that was well put together. I'm not going to pretend I didn't eat the entire thing and enjoy doing so! But.... It doesn't have a lot of heat. It's disappointing to expect it and then not experience it. Nevertheless, it's a good sandwich worthy of the $14.99 price. There were a multitude of beers I wanted to try, and I landed on KS Territory's "Pineapple Life Coach." I was expecting more heat on the sandwich and figured this beer would be ideal. And it is! If you order hot wings or something with a lot of heat, this beer would be ideal! All in all, this place is really good. I'll be back!

One of my favorite spots to go to, especially on Monday's (when they have their $5.99 burger deal). Their burgers always taste great and the service is top notch! The bartenders all have great personalities and will definitely banter if you're into that. It can be a little busy at times but it never feels overwhelming, there is plenty of seating and space which is nice. Highly recommend trying their burgers! I got a regular single this time around but their signature 30hop burger is really good too.

Great selection of beer (many local options) and high quality food selection. You can't beat the $5.99 cheeseburger deal on Monday nights! I'd recommend the brussel sprouts appetizer as well. Perfect atmosphere for watching sports. Plenty of seating options for different party sizes. Good service no matter where you sit.

30 hop for girls night out was what we needed. Went for a happy hour chips, salsa and cheese dip to start our evening out. Chocolate Martini to start the conversation and lastly Chicken Tinga Tacos for the entrée with shredded chicken coleslaw, salsa and chips on the side very good. As it was not very busy, we were able to have conversation without screaming at each other. our server was able to check on us multiple times to see what we need clean table and fill drinks. If you're in the area, 8715 Shawnee Mission Parkway stop in during happy hour 3 to 6 for appetizers and drinks then take a look at the menu and order you a entrée

Here for KC Restaurant Week 2026 1st course: Street Corn Avocado Toast. 2nd course: Yakisoba Bowl The toast was amazing. Large slices pickled onion and a fried egg. 10/10 will order again. The Yakisoba bowl was also large. I could only eat about 1/2 after the toast. It's coming home with me. It had a great flavor, I added chicken. Everything tasted fine. Not sure I'm a Yakisoba fan. But if you are, you'll probably like it. Their menu is a great way to try things if you've never been. And the amount of food you is more than $20.00 brunch cost. We will be back

Spicy Peanut Noodles. Omg so good!

I am so happy someone finally developed this formerly empty space. 30hop is a perfect addition to this area that is somewhat lacking in great restaurants. I stopped in for a bit to be greeted by a huge smile and friendly bartender named Stephan, who made my night. The Caesar salad is GOOD. It's not a bland "run of the mill" salad with croutons and romaine. Instead they've added arugula, bacon, and egg. This is a GAME CHANGER. The Peanut noodles are amazing. Absolutely mind blowing, honestly. This is something we will be back for immediately. In addition to fantastic food, 30Hop has a lot of beer on tap as well as a full bar with really great drink prices. The only thing this bar is missing is Miller Lite. Please please get Miller Lite! The Happy Hour and weekly specials make already great prices even better. Pairing great service with awesome food AND a restaurant filled with TVs will make for a perfect game day combo during football season! I may have found my new favorite spot.

Awesome spot to hangout. I love all the diverse outdoor seating while indoor has a great bar and plenty of TVs all around. Nice selection of beer, food and drinks to make a diverse group happy. Got the Mike's hot honey chicken sandwich and wasn't overwhelmed. It was fine, but not a lot of heat or complexity. The slaw I got with it was downright horrible, tasting like it had overstayed its welcome. Service was great and they offered nightly specials and good food suggestions. Will definitely go back but will get something different next time.

Came in for lunch with a group of coworkers. The parking situation outside was pretty busy and the place was fairly full for a lunch hour. We were sat pretty much immediately and had drinks fairly quickly. Apps (spinach artichoke dip + buffalo cauliflower bites) came out pretty quick and both were pretty good. Outside of the Mike's Hot chicken sandwich, I also got the truffle cheesesteak melt. Another compatriot got the Nashville hot chicken. Another got the Korean steak sandwich. And the final member of the group also got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The results of these meals were some of the craziest I've ever experience. The good - the Nashville hot chicken (and the Mike's Hot Honey chicken sandwich) were really good, 4-5 stars. But the steak was basically inedible as it seemed to be pretty low quality and was horribly overcooked - like beyond well done. So the people that got chicken had a great time, but the two of us that got steak were extremely disappointed. Normally I wouldn'take snap judgement recommendations, but if you're coming here, I would strongly suggest sticking to the chicken or getting a burger (a couple other people I know that have been here endorsed the burger) and skipping anything with steak in it. Even sans the hot honey chicken sandwich and everyone having water, it still ended up being $30+ per person, so it's also a bit on the expensive side. Would I come back? If you're local and can take advantage of the specials + like chicken? Yes. But if your heart is set on steak or you're more than 10 minutes away, I'd probably recommend something else.

Came to try the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was soo good! Very crispy and chicken was moist too! With side of vegetables. It is messy to eat but worth it! Service was good! There's happy hour 3-6 non weekdays

The atmosphere in here is made rich by its dim lighting and slightly upscale dress code (not enforced, just naturally adapted by customer base). While it is a little loud, atleast you know it is popular for a reason. It's got the atmosphere and menu to definitely make a great anniversary, date night, or family reunion. Or like us, a special night out with family. The waitresses was happy to explain the drink menu and offered me a taste of the drafts. I ordered the fish sandwich fried and it was delicious! You can tell they make the ingredients from scratch here based on the full flavors and freshness. My mom got the enchiladas, she wished there had been more cheese. My grandma got the shrimp scampi, she wished for a little less lemon. I did try it and it is very strong in flavors of lemon and olive oil, so if that is your speed, try it for sure. I hadn't been here for some years, but this time definitely changed my mind. I will be coming back more often.

The scampi had a generous portion of good size shrimp. The pork chop was very thick and large yet was very flavorful and tender. The pork chop came with mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables. However, in looking over the menu I saw they had a variety of sides. I asked if I could change me sides, which they were more than glad to do. I got the carrots and the cornbread. The carrots were delicious and there was a lot of them. The cornbread tasted good but was a little dry. Next time I would stay with the carrots but try something else. As I said the pork chop was very big and I took about half of it home. When I placed my order the waiter asked if I wanted to order a second pork chop, which I passed on. However, next time I may take him up on the offer and have an additional one to take home. All around I give it 5 stars. Also, we asked about desert. There was no desert menu nor a desert tray to help us make a decision. The waiter did rattle off the desert options, however this was kind of busy to follow. A desert menu or try would certainly go a lot further, as far as we are concerned. In summary, the food was outstanding, the service was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

For our drinks we orders 'Have a Cigar' and a low sugar mocktail they created for me. Both were made very well and were super refreshing. For our mains, we ordered, 'Black Cardamon Burnt ends', 'Tandoori Chicken' and 'Smash burger with peri peri fries' and for desert we ordered the parle g mango ice-cream' sandwich with some aromatic chai. My most favorite dish out of all were the burnt ends - they had a superb fusion flavor of Indian spices which went well with the meat and paired well with the grits. Trust me when i say this that i would eat this everyday for the rest of my life if i could. The smash burger and peri peri fries were excellent and definitely hit the spot. The real disappointed was with Tandoori chicken. I felt the chicken did not pair well with the sambar risotto and the fried okra even though it tasted good, was an after thought. The rice in the risotto was very grainy and undercooked. I told that to our server and they instantly apologized and acknowledged the issue and also proceeded to remove the dish from our bill. After that the chai was very warm and comforting and the parle g ice-cream biscuits were nostalgic and a great way to finish the meal. While not every dish was perfect, i love the excellent customer service they provided and the way the owner/manager/staff handled our feedback. I will be back to try more food here - 5/5.

We were seated on time at a table next to the bar-side of the dining room. Speaking of the dining room, it's a nice, if standard size for a strip-mall space, but I really appreciated that the tables were not stacked on top of each other, as seems to be the case at more and more places these days. It felt like there might be some chance of our entire conversation not being completely overheard by our neighbors, which was nice for a change! Our waitress was fantastic! She walked us through the menu, the restaurant's approach to cooking and seasonality, some of her faves, and made wonderful recommendations! We decided to split a few small plates, which was a great approach! We got to try about 1/3 of the small plate menu, and loved it all! It was all great, but the Black Cardamom Burnt Ends are NOT to be missed! It made my cardamom-loving, Midwest soul very, very happy indeed! The space is a really nice size - not massive or overwhelming - and with the shades drawn down (to seal out the late afternoon sun, thank goodness!) and dim lighting, the mood vibes were solid for a romantic anniversary dinner! The other ambiance item of note is that the restroom corridor smelled absolutely fantastic! Upon investigation, it was due to a burning candle from a lovely local-KC company that was custom made for the restaurant! Yes, they're for sale, and yes, we picked up two! While everything was lovely and the food was very good, you're definitely paying a high price for it. Not that it's not deserved, but the "value" feels aren't necessarily "off the charts", by any means. And that is really my only critique, if there is any at all! Nice comfortable seats and well appointed. We had never been before so we asked our server several questions and she was awesome. We spend a lot of time in New Orleans and they had beignets on the menu. She said no on the beignets in the friendliest way. She knew we wouldn't like them. Probably nothing against them they are probably fine enough but she understood where we were coming and politely gave us the scoop. Not only that but i was starving and she recommended we have the breakfast nachos that she described like tostadas and she was right! Perfect! All restaurants should have someone who cares about the business and customer enough to steer them the right way. We were both impressed with her. After the "nachos" we shared a breakfast burrito. Everything we got was good. The burrito was pork and eggs and it was tasty. Only thing is I wished they would have grilled the tortilla on the outside to firm it up. The potatoes were fine, but a bit bland. They could have used some seasoning and more onions. The nachos were good but I think could've used a bit more cheese. Overall, we were pretty happy and will be back. I am curious to try an omelette next time. I wonder if we can get the same server.
