First time at Coach's this afternoon! Enjoyable lunch on a Friday afternoon and was very well taken care of by our server. Food very much fit the ticket of a sports bar and portion sizes were good. Bar atmosphere was good and TV's all around the bar if you want to watch your favorite team

A family vacation to Missouri landed us in Overland Park last night after the KC Chiefs game! The front desk at WaterWalk recommended Coach's for dinner, so off we went. Less than a 5 min drive from the hotel meant we wouldn't have to drive far for dinner which worked out perfectly for everyone. A party of 5, we were sat immediately with no wait even though the restaurant was busy and scattered with fellow Chief fans and talk of a wedding rehearsal dinner in the back room. Our waitress was prompt, friendly and funny! The restaurant was dimly lit, and games were on the TV's at the bar. It felt like one of the more high-end sports bars I've been to. We ordered the Salted Caramel White Russians, Royal Balls, and Fried Pickles for starters. The royal balls are big loaded & fried mashed potato balls! They were amazing! The pickles were huge, crisp and the breading was fantastic. The dinks were super good, however the bartender forgot the whiskey in them. Turns out he was new so he just needs to learn the drinks a bit more. For dinner we ordered the Piggy Melt, Buffalo Chicken Mac n Cheese, Pot Pie, Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, Buffalo chicken strips with fries and a few more drinks. Everything was so good! The pot pie was to great, the Mac n cheese amazing but those tacos though! Huge shrimp! This place, with the fun ambience and customer service were truly outstanding, and made our dinner experience a memorable one. I'd go back there if I ever find myself in their neck of the woods again.

I met a few friends here for happy hour on a Thursday. We were seated right away. Our server came by and I asked about happy hour, she said it didn't start until 3pm it was 2:45. We asked for waters, she brought them back then asked for what we wanted, we told her we would wait for happy hour. This seemed to bother her. When she came back after 3pm for our drinks she wasn't very friendly. After bringing our drinks, someone else came to ask if we wanted food, she was very nice. Later our original server came back and was friendly and nice. I am not sure what happened but glad her outlook changed. It was a good time. For happy hour they have bogo on wells and calls and wine. The drinks were pretty strong. We order fries and chicken livers and both came out hot and were tasty. I would like to sit out on the patio on a nice sunny day one day. Sorry I didn't take a pic of the patio . This place was pretty chill, not super busy but not empty. I would go back, especially for happy hour.

Came here for an after party and had the whole back room reserved for us. That was cool. Waiters were still very attentive even with everyone coming in all at once and it being crazy back there! lol. I got the southwest chicken wrap . It was good. Not great. The waitress had suggested it and I do love a wrap so I was a little sad this wasn't amazing but I still enjoyed it. Fries were pretty good. The sauce was great too! Would definitely come back to try something else next time too!

The onion straws were delicious, the best thing we ate. The salad was a regular house salad with a regular ranch dressing, the bowl was wonky and the salad kept falling out the bottom. Bacon Cheddar Burger was cooked perfectly but lacked any seasoning. The bacon could have been cooked more, was not crispy. Fries were also not crispy. The worst thing was the chicken pot pie, the crust was close to being burnt and very dry. It was packed with his tasting chicken but there was little too no gravy/sauce inside. With as dry as the crust and no liquid inside it was unpleasant to eat. It also looked like a good sized piece but the bowl was extremely shallow (which maybe why there was no gravy, no room for it) but I could only eat half of it as is. Sad to say but I've had better 99 cent frozen pot pies. Service was ok.

Good food, good service. Ambiance is what you'd expect from a bar and grill. Good place to go after work.

My main complaint was after getting the check for a $350 bill, a credit card fee of 3% was added. I understand resturants pay this fee, but that has long been built into pricing and they have the advantage of not having to deal with cash. Not to mention studies that people spend more when they use credit. We probably won't go back.

We also went with the ONION RING TOWER which consists of onion rings served with ranch or Cajun horseradish dipping sauce. The Cajun is the way to go. Next we the wings, which have a wide variety of sauce options, we went with, MANGO HABANERO which is a very Tangy-sweet with a habanero heat, and the HELL'S FURY which is enough ghost peppers to blow your top. Flaming hot to say the least and not for the faint of heart. I selected the JALAPEÑO CREAM CHEESE Burger, which is a prime Wagyu beef patty topped with jalapeño cream cheese spread, peppered bacon, and pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun. It was moist cooked just right with a light sear. Perfection. My wife opted for the SICKIES BURGER which is a burger topped with Peppered bacon, fried egg, pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and American cheese, topped with onion rings and a splash of hot sauce. We conclude with one of their shakes, and they have several options to choose from, Banana, Butterscotch, Chocolate, Coffee, Oreo®, Raspberry, Strawberry, and Vanilla. I went with the Raspberry and my wife sent with the Oreo. Both were very filling. The staff is very accommodating and attentive that matched with a 1950s dinner vibe, it is a relaxing welcoming environment and this both enjoyable and comfortable. If you are thur the area you are sure to come away full. Highly recommend this place, it will not disappoint.

Portions were generous -- this isn't a place where you leave hungry. What caught me off guard was the salad. It came out genuinely crisp, not the wilted afterthought you get at most fried chicken spots, and they layer it right under the chicken so the greens stay fresh while the chicken sits on top. Small touch, but it says a lot about how much attention they're paying. Fries were double-fried and it shows -- shatter-crisp on the outside, still soft inside, finished with parm and herbs and a strong dipping sauce lineup. Reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. I'll be back.

The nostalgia hit me the moment I walked in, it genuinely felt like I was back in Korea, enjoying fried chicken with a cold beer in chilled glasses. From the atmosphere to the food and overall quality, everything felt authentic. We started with the onion rings ($8) with some beer and Diet Coke, followed by 10 garlic soy spicy wings ($12+) and the spicy pork rice topped with a fried egg ($16). The onion rings were perfectly fried, soooooo crispy, perfectly seasoned, and a great way to start the meal. The wings were outstanding and EXACTLY HOW TO GET THEM IN SEOUL: crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a flavorful garlic soy sauce with just the right amount of heat. The spicy pork rice was rich, savory, and packed with umami and the salad which came with it was extremely refreshing. It didn't taste overly spicy while I was eating it, but I noticed the heat afterward, lol. Overall, it was a great and satisfying meal. The service was excellent, and our server was incredibly kind. She patiently offered thoughtful recommendations, gave us plenty of time to decide, and kept the restaurant clean / managed it while we decided the order. If you are craving authentic Korean fried chicken and spicy bold, umami-packed flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

So, we were driving around in Overland Park and saw a Slim's Chicken. We hoped it was the same brand as we had in Arkansas. Turns out it was the same. The chicken strips were delicious. Hot, tender, good size and very juicy. Also, for the price, got a 4-piece strips meal, for less than $10 got a lot of food. Meal included Texas toast, generous serving of fries and a drink. They also, have over a dozen dipping sauces to pick from. It is almost overwhelming to select a sauce. There is another major chicken fast food chain, whose chicken tenders we use as the comparison point. Didn't think it was possible, however these are better. Now, with that said, and looking at some of the other reviews comments I do have to say that the disposition of the service folks could take some lessons from this other chicken fast food chain. It was okay service; however given the overall taste and value of the chain I would now put this as my preference for the best chicken tenders that I have had. The service differences are not enough to drive me to the other chain. One other thing. They do have chicken wings. I got one to give it a try. It was okay and I would say expensive for what you get. So, none of their chicken wings for me. Stay with the tenders. My rating is only based on the chicken tenders, not the wings.

For the fries, they aren't crispy enough for me. They are fried but somehow still soft. I like my fries to be crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The buns taste good and are fluffy but are greasy. Not something I could expect from a bun. The chicken is fine. Alone it doesn't stand out and I think they rely on the sauces. Which there are a crazy amount of options. The "sweet" tea is anything but. I don't know what their recipe is or sugar percentage but they need to make some adjustments. Seriously, it didn't taste like they put any sugar in there. The staff is friendly and helpful. My visit today was specifically to try the new Nashville Hot Sandwich. Let me tell you, it lives up to its name! That sandwich is crazy hot! If you like your tongue and lips to feel like they are being burnt off have at it! I ordered the slaw on the side as it is mayo based and wasn't sure I would like it but I wish I had had more. It helped to temper the hot sauce that the chicken is covered in and then I also tried adding honey on top. I would like someone who has been on the show Hot Ones to try it and tell me where it stands on their line up!
