This hole-in-the-wall lounge is a great place to quench your thirst or gather your senses. Doesn't look like much from the street but the bar itself is a thing of beauty and the back yard is big--nice place to lounge when the temperature allows. We had a couple of craft beers--many options here. Don't get fancy with your cocktails; probably best to stick to the menu. They had a typical-but-tasty bar food menu but we didn't order food. The staff is very friendly (MANY staff I met in Laurel are friendly which is definitely part of what makes the tourists feel welcome). Apparently, trivia night and Sunday brunch are quite popular. This is probably an overlooked gem in Laurel.

Great little spot. Good food, good vibes, good people. That night they were doing karaoke. Good times... Good laughs.

Not open until 5. Tiny place next to BBQ. Poor directions. No food, unimpressive location. Nice website. Tourists beware!

To see across the dining room one has to shield one's eyes with one's hands.... Paint the walls gray, and put some shades on those bright lights! Best to ask for the other dining room which has a much better environment for your eyes and senses. Flatware is the CHEAPEST sold to restaurants, terrible, just like the cheap flatware used by The Loft. Server was friendly for sure but not professional. None of the servers could tell you anything about any of the wines... except for the difference in color! Owners, teach your staff about the wine list! Your servers should know what a Malbec is and that it's from the Mendoza region in the Andes of Argentina, for example. We each had a dish that included a flatiron steak. Sadly our steaks were incredibly tough and chewy. I was able to eat ZERO of it... first bite... chew chew chew until it arrived at its destination, in a paper napkin. Same outcome for bites two and three.... Both ended up in my napkin! The server failed to notice that everything on my plate was gone but the steak appeared untouched! She should have noticed that the other foods were disappearing but the steaks sat appearing untouched on our plates. Green beans, shrimp, pasta dishes all a 10 out of 10! We will go back as overall this is a decent place to eat! However, still waiting on the down town Laurel restaurants to class it up! After all, we are a tourist town (HGTV-Home Town fans) and our guests are here daily from all over the country and world. Train the staff, learn the wines, ditch the cheap flatware, think about adding cloth napkins... and paint the dining room and dim those flood lights!

Served with a horseradish sauce! Than to the gumbo with a dear rich rouge flavor and crab and shrimp (could use more crab and shrimp tho). Red beans and rice I would rate a 6. Seamed to have an off flavors. Not balanced. Drinks were decent. But dessert was the star! the Beignets were so delicate and creamy on the inside, covered in powdered sugar and fried fresh and just right. Heavenly! I highly recommend this place. Understated and welcoming with efficient, friendly service

It was been a while since I have been to this place. When you go in there is a menu sign to read on…read morethe wall. Then order at the counter and they will bring it to you. I ordered the grilled shrimp basket with new potatoes (small red skin potatoes) and it comes with bread. There were a generous amount of shrimp but not a lot of favor. The potatoes were good with a little spice kick. I was with a group and someone ordered the fried shrimp and they looked really good. This place was hopping at lunch when we were there. I would suggest finding a table first if you're dining in. Enjoy!

Word of the moment is YUMMY! My group was hungry for good seafood, I looked in Yelp!, and BAM!…read moreThere it was! The menu was posted on the wall in organized and clear order. There were nice options for seafood - crawfish, crabs, shrimp, catfish, etc., with preparations from fried to boiled. 2 in our party shared the catfish and shrimp platter, and took some home for a late night snack. 1 shared the seafood platter and a pound of boiled crawfish. The staff at the counter assisted us, and were patient with our numerous questions. The seafood platter had a deviled crab, fried catfish, large fried shrimp, boiled shell-on shrimp, corn on the cob, boiled potatoes, fries and the choice of cole slaw or a side salad. It was delicious, and even more yummy as leftovers for brunch late this morning. I wish I could give them 10 stars!!
