Empanada, toasted bagel w/ cream cheese, and cold brew (no ice)
    Scott S.

35 North is located at the Shops at Santa Fe on level 2. There was plenty of signage (shown in the photos) directing us to the right location, so it was easy to find. The café has a cool, modern vibe with plenty of indoor seating as well as a nice outdoor patio. They were very busy on a Saturday morning. The counter staff was very matter-of-fact. Not rude, but not especially warm or welcoming either. Honestly, I got the impression she was just under a lot of stress. We also asked another staff member if we could use one of the patio umbrellas (they were all closed for some reason), and he was prompt and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, a meat-filled empanada, a honey latte, and a cold brew. The cold brew was a little too dark for my taste, though coffee preferences are definitely subjective. Interestingly, there's a place in Albuquerque that has an almost identical flavor profile. The toasted everything bagel was very good, but it didn't come with quite enough cream cheese. The single cream cheese packet also felt a bit lackluster presentation-wise. That said, when we asked for more, the response was friendly and accommodating. The honey latte had beautiful latte art and great flavor, definitely a highlight. The empanada, filled with ground beef, green chile, and piñon, was a bit over-toasted, but the filling itself was flavorful, even if somewhat sparse. Overall, I think 35 North has a lot going for it and could easily elevate the experience with a few small improvements to consistency and customer service.

An easy walk from the hotel and a TON of space to hang out. Great upbeat vibe before 8am on a random weekday. The baristas are friendly and busy. Cool shop that covers three spaces at the back of the strip mall. If you want the buzz of commerce, hang out where you order coffee and (if you're lucky) they might be actively roasting a batch. Looking for a calm outdoor space for fresh air? Head to the patio with plenty of shade. Need a table for that meeting with a bunch of friends? Try the third space across the hall with a huge map on the wall and ample comfy seating, too. Coffee was crisp and velvety. A decaf flat white with heavy cream will never do you wrong. Great spot. Come support the locals!

So the ube latte was good. But $11.36 for it , is just plain ridiculous. So 4 stars for taste but not worth the price. Won't be back. Service very friendly.

We woke up early to walk around the plaza, and since not much was open on an early Sunday morning, we were happy to find 35 North Coffee open. I had a great cappuccino and the staff was super friendly. They have a cute balcony with great views of the street, plus extra indoor seating if you prefer to stay inside. Such a nice little spot to start the morning. Definitely check them out!

Place is so cute! Rooftop in a plaza mall looking place with stores. Drinks were a bit watered down for my taste but I do like my drinks strong. Staff was friendly.

A cute little coffee shop with rooftop seating. Match is served with coffee and hot cocoa for the kids. Staff was nice and help.

I was dying for a midafternoon pick-me-up I walked around the plaza and majority of downtown looking for an open coffee shop and came across this gem! It's upstairs with a balcony (pretty views) I found them 8 mins before closing and they were so nice! Took my order and made me comfortable!! If you're in the area pop in and check them out!! I'll for sure be back! Big thanks to the ladies who were working!! Cheers *

The shop is so cute and super spacious. The matcha latte is supreme. You can taste the high quality matcha. It's in the central area of Santa Fe

Good authentic coffee and coffee roaster. My family members had blueberry pomegranate iced tea and dirty chai, also happy!

    Large indoor seating.

Wonderful coffee shop close by the Santa Fe Plaza. Lots of clean, bright indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is very helpful and cheerful to help make the drinks done well.

    Americano and cinnamon scone
    Mike E.

This is a nice coffee shop with good baked goods. The cinnamon scone was delicious even if it the texture was more light and flakey than a typical scone but that's probably what more people like. There's plenty of seats including a patio with a nice view.

Gwen is guarding the delicious drinks!

From Las Cruces, NM Awesome coffee and service! ....................................................... Will be back that's for sure!!

The employees/baristas and customers were so friendly here! I'm from San Diego and was visiting Santa Fe for a week with my family. I tried to sample many of the coffee shops in town and this one stood out for its friendly service and warm atmosphere, plus quality coffee. I ordered the horchata latte and it was delicious! However, it didn't seem very strong coffee-wise (I believe my latte had two shots of espresso?), so I had to come back like an hour later to get a second one to satisfy my caffeine needs. The breakfast/brunch options looked amazing and were reasonably priced, but during our stay we did not end up eating here...we simply ran out of time! The space is within a shared work building right off the street, walkable from where we were staying and close enough to walk to the Plaza. I enjoyed walking here on a few mornings and getting the feel of what it might be like to be a local in town, while scanning the many clothing and other types of shops along the way. Overall I'd recommend this coffee shop for friendly vibes and yummy coffee drinks...but next time I'd add an extra shot to my latte.

There were a lot of customers with their laptops and tablets enjoying the free wifi. They have a limited coffee menu when compared to Starbucks, but who needs that many choices. Cafecito has been showing up on my reels and it looked like the kind of special I wanted. Just a few steps away from the Railyards, this place seems to be in its own island, in a quiet corner. The place is simple in decoration, with lots of plants, plenty of natural light, and a cozy vibe. The manager or owner greeted us. We started special the right way . Staff took a little longer than I expected to take our order (or I may have been veeeery hungry). However, our order came quite quick! The hubby ordered the Santa Fe and Carne Empanadas with lentil soup. I ordered the Gaucho to get some range. The empanadas were quite good and tasty. They were on the medium size, well packed with protein, with a nice and soft pastry. The Santa Fe had very fragrant green chiles and good seasoning on the chicken. The Carne had an amazing taste on the wagyu with a bit of spice and sweet with those peppers. The lentil soup was thick and tasty with every spoonful. The Gaucho, unfortunately, was not as successful as the empanadas. The sourdough was thinly sliced and perfectly toasted, pairing well with the butter and quince jam. The provolone and tomatoes were confusing, but they were well portioned. The eggs were fluffy and ok, nothing to die for, just well executed. The flank steak relied a lot on the chimichurri, which added great acidity, but without it, the steak did not have its own seasoning or flavor. It was satisfying, but the visuals tricked me into thinking it was going to blow my mind. Overall, this is a nice space to hang with friends for a special occasion and enjoy some tasty options. I'm interested in returning to try other things. I like when a place sparks my curiosity.
