I got the roasted shishito peppers as a light snack and they came with a creamy dipping sauce. The staff were chill and helpful. The ambiance is one of my favorites because It's very calm and chill and people are working or just hanging out. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Iconik reminds me of those coffee houses in the late '90s where people would come hang out for hours, talk with friends, and bring their laptops to work. The employees/baristas and customers were so friendly here! I'm from San Diego and was visiting Santa Fe for a week with my family. I tried to sample many of the coffee shops in town and this one stood out for its friendly service and warm atmosphere, plus quality coffee. I ordered the horchata latte and it was delicious! However, it didn't seem very strong coffee-wise (I believe my latte had two shots of espresso?), so I had to come back like an hour later to get a second one to satisfy my caffeine needs. The breakfast/brunch options looked amazing and were reasonably priced, but during our stay we did not end up eating here...we simply ran out of time! The space is within a shared work building right off the street, walkable from where we were staying and close enough to walk to the Plaza. I enjoyed walking here on a few mornings and getting the feel of what it might be like to be a local in town, while scanning the many clothing and other types of shops along the way. Overall I'd recommend this coffee shop for friendly vibes and yummy coffee drinks...but next time I'd add an extra shot to my latte. read more

A cool spot to grab a coffee and relax. Not the easiest place to find and then find parking, but worth it. There were a lot of customers with their laptops and tablets enjoying the free wifi. They have a limited coffee menu when compared to Starbucks, but who needs that many choices. I enjoyed drinking coffee from a ceramic mug instead of a paper cup. The inside of this coffee shop is super cute and quaint! Definitely looked like a local spot with lots of people either studying or working. It's located within an art gallery so it's nice to see some of the art while you walk in. The service was super friendly and got our drinks out fast. We took our drinks to go, but would have loved to sit and enjoy the space for a little. We ordered an iced vanilla latte, iced horchata latte, and a gibraltar. The syrups of the drinks were really good, but I thought they were a little diluted with the milk and I couldn't really taste the espresso. It was also on the watery side rather than creamy side. The gentleman that was at the counter was super nice and accommodating and even gave us a few day old pastries. This is a short walk (10 mins) from the main square but worth the trek. Delicious coffee and food options, including gluten free. The coffee shop is located in a co-working space with many small studios for creators. The service was kind and quick. There was no line when we arrived on a Sunday morning but a crowd soon hit. I've been here enough times to finally just acknowledge that they do not brew good coffee. It has a very sour and acidic taste -- reminds me of gas station coffee!! Ugh. I take no pleasure in bad mouthing local businesses.. I hate Starbucks and would prefer to support local coffeehouses, but my gosh.. sorry to say that Iconik's coffee is just gross. It tastes old, cheap, and sour. If they added some new bean options, I'll give it try again. But until then, ugh.. no more Iconik for me! Wow! Visiting Santa Fe for the first time and loved this spot!! I got the most delicious Benedict - I'm typically not a big fan of Benedicts but this hollandaise sauce was lighter than usual and so good. And I mean - the rubbed bacon?! Soooo good. The potatoes were on point as well. Service was so kind and friendly - the type were you think "these humans are so happy and cool". The space was a good size and ample tables. The place was very packed. We decided to try a local coffee spot. We ended up changing our minds and got it to go because there weren't any available tables. The latte I had was pretty good, but my family members didn't like their drinks, although they did order some "unusual" items compared to what they get elsewhere. We had some of the vegan bars which were very dense and filling. I would probably come at a time when it's slower and a bit more calm and give it another shot. What a wonderful coffee house. I wish we lived here as I'd be a regular but, alas, was traveling when we visited. Our first experience was back in July 2023, and my daughter found this spot as we were heading to Taos from Albuquerque. The cashier and manager (owner?) were super personable. Then, on top of this, the coffee was quite good and to put the cherry on top their pastries are glorious, especially when you find out they all are gluten free! When we came back by in October I reminded my wife of this spot and we stopped in. This time we had breakfast and the breakfast burrito was suggested (though I also got some pastries!) and both my wife and I got this. It was not at all what I expected and was wonderful. We were so happy we came back the next day and had different folks waiting on us. The folks both day were wonderful as were their food and coffee. Circumstances likely will have us visiting the area again and if we're able we'll definitely pay another visit. I'll see if I can figure out how to post an image of the wonderful breakfast burrito. I'd definitely recommend first for the people, then the food and at pretty much the same level as the first two, the coffee. read more

Really great cafe! My husband and I visited this coffee shop for a few hours while we had some maintenance going on at home that required us to leave. I looked up some cafes in the area that had an outdoor space since we had our cat with us in her cat carrier (yes we were the weird cat people LOL, but she couldn't stay at home either). When we arrived there was plenty of seating outside. I even got a seat next to an outlet which was important for me since I had to log in for work. I noticed a lot of others either working or studying at the cafe. The wifi was good enough to get onto a 30 minute teams call with no issues. I ordered a regular cup of coffee and the shakahuka. The shakshuka wasn't what I expected, but it was really good! A nutritious and filling meal. The coffee was honestly a little weak..I didn't feel very caffeinated afterwards, but maybe it was just the brew. I would definitely come back. read more

We stumbled upon this place after having breakfast at The Pantry, which had horrible coffee, and my wife needed her caffeine fix. A cool coffee shop, hidden off the beaten track. They have a working antique roaster on site and it smells amazing! My wife had a Latte and a scone which she thoroughly enjoyed and i grabbed a double chocolate chip cookie that was very good.
