What an experience!!! In town for Jazz Fest and visited this wonderful establishment. Amazing service, food and ambiance. Will definitely visit again.

Crispy-skinned salmon, very good

We just enjoyed a fine dinner at 350 Grace. Was able to get a same day reservation and I'm glad we did. It's tucked into a back corner spot, a little hard to find but well worth it. Our delightful server, Ember, was engaging and efficient, taking great care of us. We had the fried oyster appetizer, which is worth the money, unusual but very good. My wife enjoyed her shrimp and grits and I was impressed by the execution and presentation of my crispy skinned salmon dish. We also were pleased to each receive a free mini dessert, a type of warm bread pudding with some ice cream which was wonderful! That tasty small complimentary dessert was a great ending to a very good meal. Well done! We'll be back.

Hidden location across from Wic and Sip. I recall coming here when it was a Turkish restaurant so that's how we were able to find the it. The place felt new and clean. Loved the modern and simple decor and style. Upon arrival I didn't think we were going to eat here because we didn't have reservations and the hostess made it seem like it was a bit inconvenient. However, she ended up waiting on us and did a great job. They seemed low staff for a Friday, but loved how they worked together as a team. The food was delicious! I got the salmon and the hubby got the steak. Oysters were phenomenal and the complimentary dessert was a great addition.

Mocktails

This place was a godsend. I recently found out. I am gluten intolerant and this place has made eating out an absolute breeze. You wouldn't even know that it's gluten-free and having a full list of mock tails to somebody who does not drink alcohol. It is a perfect fit. The service was absolutely amazing. She made sure we were taken care of anytime we were finished or ready to order something new the ambience was very high class. It seems like they really care about their image in the restaurant.

Medium rare, New York strip with vegetables.

This is my new favorite spot in Norfolk. I've been there maybe three or four times now, and each time has been better than the last. So far, I've had the rib appetizer, the watermelon salad, and another appetizer that I'm evading. I have had the pork dish with hot sauce and the New York strip as entrees. The service has always been premier. Each time I've been served by the owners's wife. She is communicative, professional, and accommodating. She's a great asset to this team. The ambience of the space is really nice. Definitely an elevated dining experience yet it's not "pretentious." I highly recommend. I'll definitely be back.

If you're looking for the perfect ambience to enjoy a superb, masterfully prepared meal, then come to the elegant dining pleasure of 350 Restaurant located at 350 W. 22nd Street in Norfolk, Virginia. This was the first time I had come to his magnificent restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised when I was gre eted at the door with "Welcome, Patty, we're so pleased to see you." I ordered the grilled chicken. It was juicy and well done, as I had requested. They even gave me a complimentary dessert that was scrumptious. My server was Jimmy, a master of making me feel more like family than just another customer. And the pricing was reasonably affordable. If I could give this review a ten star rating, I certainly would. Please, check it out, you'll thank me. Patty

I've been here twice and each time I was blown away by the food. The chef is amazing at what he does. We got the shrimp & grits and lamb chop entrees and the catfish appetizer. the drinks were strong and flavorful. I'll be back again for a third time for sure!

Perfect place to eat. I stumbled across this place while visiting the area on business. It was so good, I drove three hours the very next weekend to come back. The vibe is giving metro-luxury. The staff felt like family (if you're spoiled by your family). The food is amazing. I had the Catfish and Spare ribs appetizers, and the pork loin entree... twice! They were all so good. The drinks are amazing. I had too many to name... even the mock-tails were delicious.

Crispy Salmon served medium rare. The crispy edge was a real treat.

We went to 350 Grace last night with some friends, and the experience was fantastic. Tess, behind the bar and Eric on the service team, are very friendly and attentive. As you look at the puctures, know that they are every bit as delicious as they are beautiful. Please go to this place and enjoy the food and they staff. It is a true Norfolk gem. They are also gluten free.

Solid 4.5 overall. Like many places post-Covid, they are short staffed. This meant getting sat 30min after our reservation and no bartender. Thankfully, food quality and hospitality accommodating a dairy-free diner in our party made our visit special. The pork loin was a showstopper -- RAVEWORTHY, and I never boast about a roast (pork); tender, juicy, and flavorful. Side sweet potato purée helped set it off even moreso. Friend's steak was TOP NOTCH. Perfectly cooked charred outside, medium rare inside, with flavor for days. Crab cakes and shrimp n grits were good, but paled in comparison to the Steak and Pork dishes. Complimentary desserts were the perfect sweet finish to the visit.

Ambiance is aesthetically pleasing with a country roadside shack motif. The bar area has TVs with sports and a great selection of craft beers and house specialty cocktails. The only drawback is that parking during peak working hours can be tricky with only street parking available as there are lots of small businesses and other restaurants in this area with the same issue. The Food is REALLY GOOD! I had the Pork & Pollock; a healthy lump of pulled pork with two pieces of battered and fried pollock, a cup of slaw and a side of your choice (I got the Cindy's Mac-n-cheese). I also added a side of their hushpuppies, and my only complaint is that my stomach was not big enough to finish it all. Tip: if your hushpuppies come out with their house made honey butter, just ask you will thank me latter. Various BBQ sauces are provided on the table for your meats and sides; my favorite was the sweet Memphis style. If you are in the area and hungry, I highly recommend finding a parking spot and swinging in!

A staff told us that wait time came reach to 50 mins due to walk ins and online orders and all food is cooked to order with 2 chefs. I chose to stay because I already knew what I wanted and didn't want to spent time trying to find another restaurant in the area, especially with 2 kids. There is a small seating area. When we got to host stand to order, I was told that Grits and waffle cut off at 4pm daily... this upset me because I had looked at menu prior to coming and that's what I really wanted. Im visiting from out of state, so it's not easy to come back. I ordered at 4:17pm. We were seated after ordering. The process is interesting. Around 4:23pm, I saw another table get chicken and waffles and it just irritated me because that's what I wanted. Plus, I was very VERY hungry at this time. The menu really should indicate time cut off for food. Also, pasta doesn't get sold until 2pm. Kids shrimp came at 4:56 and kids chicken came a couple minutes later. Kids meal come with caprisun. Seafood platter (my meal) came at 5pm. The staff was friendly and the food was enjoyable, nonetheless. Service could've been better. I would return for the food.

The black building threw me off a bit and I drove past it at first. No parking lot and street parking is hit or miss; something to keep in mind if you or someone in your party has mobility issues. Once inside, I was expecting a carry out place, but they have a nicely set up dining area and even a bar. Ordering and pick up were efficient. I love the names of the entrees that rep Norfolk, like Ballentine, Berkly, Park Place, and Shoop Place. I tried the Salmon & Shrimp Cheesesteak and the Berkley Big Boy - a fish filet, 4 jumbo shrimp, 3 crab balls, lettuce, tomato, Sho'Tyme special sauce on a hoagie roll. The Berkley Big Boy is where the seafood preparation shined. The shrimp were indeed jumbo, needing multiple bites to take them down, the whiting was also fried nicely, and I was pleasantly surprised that the crab balls were delicious. I'm not a huge fan of the Sho'tyme sauce, but I can see why people like it. A little sweet for my taste. I expected more cheese in the cheesesteak. The shrimp were the best part, seasoned and cooked well, not over or under cooked. The bread on both sandwiches was disappointing and the most tasteless part, not soft or warm, dare I say, stale? The fries were just barely passable, frozen fries with a coating, and they weren't particularly hot or crispy. So this is a place where you just get seafood, no fries, no bread, or maybe the other sides are good. So yeah, Berkley Big Boy was the star. Next time I would try a platter or maybe the Crab cake, shrimp, and lobster BLT, because it's on a brioche bun and the fries are parmesan truffle. I hope they stay in business and keep improving. I've been to Sweet Jam a time or three and each time was just as perfect as the first time. After several visits, I would have to say that my two favorite dishes are their Chicken and Waffles and their ridiculously creamy and delicious Shrimp and Grits. Today is the 2'nd Friday during Lent, so for me that means no red meat. With that being said, if you are looking for a dangerously delicious red meat free dish I would recommend Sweet Jam Cafe's Shrimp and Grits. Let's start with the Chicken and Waffles- the chicken and waffles is a plate of one waffle that is cut into quarters and plated with three full size wings. The waffle is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I think their might be a hint of vanilla in the batter and I love it. The chicken, oh my gosh, sooooooo good. The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. If they sold just that flavorful chicken skin, I would buy a whole bucket of it. So good. The Shrimp and Grits are...... All I can say about the Shrimp and Grits is to go to Sweet Jam and order a bowl. It is so creamy, the grits are cooked perfectly and the shrimp.... Oh the shrimp. Do your mouth a favor and try this dish. You will not be disappointed.

Everything was cooked to perfection and took no time for them to bring the food out. Plus, we found out they serve an all-you-can-eat buffet on Sundays for $20.00 per person. This family-owned business cooks with a lot of love + their customer service and attentiveness is top-tier. If you're ever in the area, give this place a try I promise you will not be disappointed. Also, if you're a sweet tea lover like me I'm here to tell you, IT'S LIKE THAT!!!! Thank you, Sweet Jam Cafe, for the amazing experience and great food. Will be back VERY soon!
